Kiss him better? She almost chuckled to herself- almost. At the rate they were going they weren't going to get very much cooking done! If they did any at all for that matter.
"You know, I'm not sure if you're in a position to be making requests like that," still, she'd shifted her hand from where it rested around her to wind it in the fabric of his shirt, while the knife touched his cheek once more.
She grinned, using the knife to guide his head so that he was looking off to the side, and she leaned her head forward. She'd been intending to kiss the side of his head; his ear in fact, but a certain sparkly gold horn gave her a bit of trouble. A soft noise of irritation escaped her throat, and she leaned her head back, staring at them for a moment, before muttering, "******** the game,"
She set the knife on the counter behind her, before seizing one of his horns to pull their lips together. He wanted a kiss? She'd give him a kiss.

He was Spins, a Gaian mongrel held together by little more than magic, medication, and the occasional desperate prayer. He had his job, his roommate, and a collection of obnoxious friends who served him more as distractions than they did as comrades.
He was standing in his kitchen, bleeding, kissing a mob boss.
He could get used to this (though, of course, he wouldn't let himself). <******** the game, indeed. Forget dinner. Forget dessert. Or call this both.
Spencer leaned into the kiss, into the moment, his hand falling to rest on Dom's waist, the other in the center of her back pulling her closer to him.
There was something bright and hungry shivering through him, something that burnt its way through his veins, and nearly had him closing his eyes and just falling into it.
But Dom was still a mob boss, and he'd keep his eyes open until he wasn't sure she wasn't going to make a grab for the knife she'd just set down and finish him off then and there.
