Red smiled and shrugged, "It sounds like a plan to me. I'm never against sunning and chatting over a cool lake." He tucked his tail against his front paws, "Why not tell me about yourself?"

She smiles warmly as she backs up. She takes off in a bound and dives over the cliff into the cool water. A moment later she surfaces and begins paddling around happily. "Sure. What would you like to know about me?"

He watched her, and recoiled a bit at the splash she created. "I don't know... Everylion has secrets... So whatever you wish to tell me, I suppose. I'm not one to pry where my ears are not welcome."

Umicho laughs softly. "I was only curious Red. I live alone obviously. I spend most of my time swimming or going on..." She dives beneath the water, surfacing a moment or two later. "hunts for food. I don't really know many other lions."

Red nodded, "That makes sense, I suppose. It's pretty desolate out here... I'm assuming you've lived out here your whole life? Or have you wandered?" He had made the assumption that she didn't live in a pride, or never had, since she didn't know many lions. Even though his pride was small, he'd met others through it...

"As far as I can remember, I've lived here my whole life. No lions that I've met have stayed for very long, so I get lonely." She rolls to her back letting her hind feet gently move her. "I'm afraid to leave though...nobody i've met has ever truly earned my trust..."

Red shrugged, "That's probably better for you. While it's been lonely, at least you've been safe, hm? I've heard of many horror stories of lions giving their trust too early..."

She continues to float on her back, thinking to herself. "You don't trust others easily either huh?" A frown crosses her face as she looks up at the sky. "I suppose your right..."

Red smiled slightly, "Of course, I don't just ramble on for no reason," he teased, relaxing a bit more from before. Though he still didn't trust her with his life, he knew that she probably wasn't going to hurt him.

She nods and smiles softly as she looks up at where the red teen lays on the grass. He certainly is a nice guy. She wonders to herself if he had ever been able to swim, or if he couldn't because of his tail. "I know how you feel about trust. Others think they have my full trust when they may not yet...but I trust you enough to be friends."

"I trust you enough not to attack me without reason," he offered with a shrug. He was very tentative in offering more than that, even with-in his home pride at times. The only lion he trusted with his life was Kish'ya, and he didn't see that changing any time soon... "But that sounds a lot less impressive than it actually is, I assure you."

She nods and dives under the water again, staying under for a few minutes swimming along the bottom. When she surfaces she looks up at the sky thinking to herself.

He watched her, waiting patiently for her to resurface. with a curiosity unusual to him, his ears perked up as she resurfaced, and he followed her eyes to the sky.

After a few minutes she looks over at him, smiling softly seeing he had been looking up as well. She swims over to the side of the lake and climbs out, then lays on her side in the sun.

Red glanced over at her, "Have a nice swim?" He pulled his tail around his opposite side, keeping it away from the wet lioness next to him. It pulled with it a bit of the heat that had been against his face, leaving his cheek a bit cold.
