Appoloin laughed. "Well carrying the fruit might get harder later on. And I didn't think that I could eat it all on my own." He took another bite and grins. "Plus it is always nice to share with friends." He finished the piece he was working on. He looked up once at the sky before starting after. The last piece of fruit was shifted from hand to hand as he thought.
"If the birds are going there, then I'm sure that the place is safe." Or that was what he wanted to believe. He looked at the path ahead of them as a whole and laughed to himself. "Plus we can find some more of those red feathers this way. Maybe even get a few other colors."
He looked at her for a moment. "You have a nice true form." Where that had come from he was not sure. But he liked her red fur because it was like his in this true form.

Pluvindia nodded. "Those feathers are too pretty to waste" She stated, staring into the sky as she watched a flurry of birds take off in the direction they were going. "If we get enough, maybe we could make faux wings." She giggled, imaging her large form being supported by fake feathered wings! How strange! Deciding put that aside, she looked ahead to see where they were heading. The forest went for miles, she concluded, as she noticed they continuously passed tree after tree."This journey might take a long time....am I keeping you from anything, or anyone?"
".....Thank you" She said quietly; blushing at the same time, although it wasn't visible due to her red fur. Pluvindia suddenly became curious. "What...does your form look like?"

"No this will not keep me from anything. My quest before was to find my twin. I found him so I'm happy. I really don't have much else to do. I mainly wander about until I find something interesting to do." Appoloin laughed for a moment. His eyes went back to the sky and thinking. "Maybe some wings would help us out."
Stopping for a moment he shifts to his true form. "It looks like this." He joked and stretched a little. It had been a while from the last time he had been in his true form. The elf form had just made it easier to move around the forest.

Pluvindia sighed in relief. She hoped that nothing would prevent him from going to the new place She wouldn't mind letting him go though. A tinge of sadness went through her as that went across her mind. If she did have to go alone, she would've stopped mid way. I...will not stop now. I'm finally getting somewhere...
"The feathers we would collect would make very colorful wings, but they would be much larger than these." She wiggled her little wings. She sighed. "We would have no way to put them on though."
She stared at his true form. "Ah! Your red also! That's cool!" Excited for once, she walked around him for a second. She paused for a moment before opening her mouth. "I....really like that little symbol on your shoulder." She suddenly took a closer peek at it.

Appoloin curled his tail a little and ate the last fruit in one go. It was much easier to eat the fruit in this form but it meant not getting as much as the taste. But he thought he had enough sweetness for one day. His mind wandered to the fact that he had a quest again and this time he had someone to go with him.
He peered at his wings for a moment and nodded. "I'm sure that we can find a way to put them on. Even if it is just for show. Another thing we are going to have to figure out." He turned his head to peer at the symbol on his shoulder. "The symbol of yin and yang." He grinned. "It is a birth mark you can say, my mother in Yin and my father is Yang. So I'm the son of the balance." He always liked the symbol on his shoulder.

"Its very hypnotizing...where are your parents anyway? They must miss you." She questioned. Not having family of her own, she was curious where his was. I would like a family some day... Thought Pluvindia. Blinking for a moment, She later stopped gazing at the pretty symbol he had on his arm and continued on the path.
The sun began to set and the amount of birds flying away became smaller. The feathers left behind though, were many."We might get lost." The forest was silent, except for the twittering of the birds above. Pluvindia took a moment to gather several feathers. She picked up several blue and red ones and placed them in the space between one of her horns and ears. She turned to Appoloin"Would you like to continue or shall we find a place to rest?"

Appoloin thought for a moment well following her down the path. "To be honest, they don't really miss me. They like to see me now and again, but they hardly see each other. Because my mother wanders around the forest at night, well my father wanders around the forest in the day." He smiled a little. "Plus I'm an elder so they don't really worry about me."
Appoloin looked about the area for a moment. "I think resting would be a good idea. Walking around in the dark is a bit hard to do some times." He laughed and yawned a little. "Plus walking has made me a bit tired. I'm sure the birds will also sleep during the the night, so there is no hurry."

Pluvindia frowned. "They don't miss...oh" She later nodded after hearing the full statement. "That's true. Elders could take care of themselves. We might randomly see your mother in these parts" She laughed. It would be strange to see his mother in the middle of the forest. Especially herself being with her son. I think I'd be dead.She involuntarily twitched.
"Now....where are we anyways...we have to find some shelter" She walked a little farther, but found nothing but more trees. "I don't think there are any caves around here."

"Maybe we will if we get closer to where they normally stay. But I think that is a few days walk from here at the moment." Appoloin smiled and took a moment to look around and think. "There might be a hidden cave. And if there is I think we should find it before we loss all of the light." He walked forwards a little to peer about the trees looking for any sign of a cave. "Or we might just have to stay under some trees. As long as it doesn't rain it should be ok."

Pluvindia nodded. She immediately began to move around the grass to find any sign of a hidden cave or empty den. "I don't want to sleep outside....especially in the rain." She voiced out to herself. Determined, she continued to search for a hidden den or cave, only finding small holes, which now and then, her claws fell into. Small rodents would chatter in panic as she pulled her claws from the holes. I'll make note of these later...
"I can't find anything over here...how about you?"

Appoloin walked in and out of view a few times until he had disappeared for a good while. Coming back half smiling he sat and looked at Pluvindia. "I have some good news and some bad news. Let me starts with the good news. I found a cave what should be big enough, but it is only big enough for us in elf form..." He didn't mind being in elf form but he could never really get warm without his fur. "So we can keep looking or stay in the small cave I found."

Pluvindia began to tap her claw on the side of her muzzle. She started to think of the pros and cons of the cave. Yes,it covered their heads. No, it wouldn't fit both of them in elder form. Yes, it kept her out of the rain.
She blinked and stared at the visible sky through the canopy. A little cloudy. Not sure about rain though.
"I'm ok with the cave....are you?" She questioned if he was ok with sharing a cave with her, especially due to just meeting her a few hours ago. Not only that, they did not have anything to warm them, and that was a problem. "Will we also need to gather something to keep us warm?"

"I'm fine with it. I don't mind spending a night is a cave with someone." He smiled and looked about the area for a moment. "We could use some wood or something? We would just have to find a way to lit it on fire..." He frowned a little at that thought. He was a void element so he really was not help. "Or we should find something to lay on that will keep the cold ground off?"

Being a fire element, she wondered if her ability would help. She first shifted into her elven form. It made it easier to control her power. Pluvindia then began to make weird gestures towards a patch of dirt. Slowly, the dirt began to become a bright red and a stream of lava erupted from the dirt and flew around her.
"I have no idea if this would light the wood...but, if i only used a little of it..." She made another gesture and pulled out a small pearl-sized piece of lava, returning the rest to the ground below. "Maybe this would light the wood? Or....we could just find some more feathers and use those for warmth. Or both." She had no qualms about either.

Appoloin watched her using her powers. Picking up a small piece of wood he holds it above the piece of lava and within moments the wood had set on fire. Smiling and holding the wood a little ways away he nods. "Yes that helps alot with lighting things." He waved the wood until it went out because it had been burning towards his fingers. "I don't think we could find enough feathers to make anything warm anyways." He turned and started back the way he had come. "Let me show you the cave. So you can have your say about it before we settle down for the night."
