Zarah grinned. "Good, Etsu it is." She flicked her tail behind her proudly then smirked. "Well, It might be a interesting way for you to look. Females could be just as good as males. Some times better." She grinned at her once more. "most of the time they look beter. For example, your a pretty little thing, you most likely look better then so many males around here."
With that she started to slow down in her walk. She paused for just a moment as she looked around looking. She started to walk a little more to the left, she could smell the air, she was getting closer to where she wanted, a beautiful watering hole she knew little knew of.

"Thank you," she whispered in a tone not really meant to be heard. she could feel her face burning in embarrassment at Zarah's kind comments. Truth was, Zarah was one of the prettiest lionesses that Etsu had even met.
She followed her path quietly, just happy to be in another presence that didn't look down at her as being worthless. There were many questions racing through her head, but she was too shy to voice any of them, so she jsut waited with quiet excitement to see where she was being led.

Zarah chuckled a bit. "Haha! Your welcome but remember what I say is true." She looked back with a grin. She slowed down a bit then looked back once more. "Well here we are." She stepped through a cluster of bushes then looked around at the great lake before her. It was well hidden and she knew that vert little knew of it. And she was glad. SHe liked to spend her time here. "This is just about one of my favorite places in the world to go." She smiled as she looked around at the water and the shade from the trees that were around it. "Its such a beautiful place." She said simply. "I hope you think the same." She grinned at her.

Etsu looked up as they stepped through the trees, and her eyes widened at the beautiful setting before her. "Oh, this place is amazing," she said with a gasp. "It's the most beautiful place I've seen!" She looked over at Zarah and grinned, "Thank you for bringing me here - it's... It's just.... there are no words to describe it."

Zarah chuckled a bit at her reaction. She playfully bumpped the other female then licked her cheek. "I had a feeling you would like it Etsu." She then flicked her tail behind her wandering over to the water. "Its a wonderful hide away, and I really don't show that many other's this place." She looked back with a soft and honest smile. She leaned down toward the water and lapped up some of the clean water before flopping down under one of the tree's and flicking her tail behind her, watching the water. "Its so wonderful here." She looked toward the other female again.

Etsu hardly had time to blush before following after her to the lake's edge. She nudged her before lying down next to her at an odd distance away - not near enough so suggest anything, but not far enough to suggest a coldness. He dipped her left paw into the water and felt the chill run through her toes. "I like it very much - it seems so isolated from the rest of the lands."

Zarah smiled at her as she also laid down. "Ah. AS I said, I had a feeling you would like it Etsu..." She flicked her hair out of her eyes then leaned back just a bit. "Well Etsu, would you mind telling me a little about yourself? I'm just quiet curious." She smimled softly as her multicolored eyes scaned over the area then settled back on the other female.

Etsu shifted a bit and sighed, "Well..." She rested her head n her paws and stared into the water a moment before rolling it on to her cheek so she could see Zarah. "My mom's Fan Kun Yi, the queen of the Dragon Lands. My dad's a lion named Willy Wonka, the king of a pride who certainly got around with the females. When I was born, the king of my mom's pride, Shaitani, was furious that she went behind his back, but she told him not to take it out on us... He let us stay in the pride, but paid us no mind at all." She cast her eyes back at the water. "I have a few siblings, and some step-siblings, who were born of Shaitani and a lioness named Pandora. I guess we're not related at all... Which is fine. I guess I have a pretty messed up family, but my mom and Shaitani are completely devoted to each other, despite their occasional fallout." She heaved a heavy sigh and directed her gaze back to the lioness next to her. "How about you?"

Zarah paid close attetion as the female talked, she hated when people asked her a question and didn't pay attetion, and she made sure she didn't do that to anyone else. "Wow... You life sounds pretty event full." Then with Etsu's question she shrugged. "Me? Well I was born in a large pride. My father was the king, he and my mother both had lots of children other then me. My father was a good king and lead good. But one day another pride attatcked ours, some how we were caught off gaurd. They ment to kll all but the king. But when some one went to kill me and my sister of the same age, we were just cubs, they stopped not able to do it, and snuck us away... So me and my sister went out to find out father, we knew he was alive. From then me and my sister learned that both males and female's could hold our attetion, females a little more some times, and well by the time we were adults we ran into my father again."
She shrugged slightly. "Now we live with him." She sat back and sighed through her nose. "We've been trying to get him out to meet some one new but he wants to belive that our mother is still alive some where." She shook her head with a heavy sigh.

Etsu nodded and listened, and when she had finished her story, furrowed her brow ad said "Yours seems to have been a bit more eventful than mine. I'm sorry to hear about our pride... But it was good that you and your sister survived. And your dad." She kneaded the ground nervously, not wanting to mention the death of her mother...

Zarah shrugged slightly. "The pride itself was nothing but the family was." She shook her head then looked up. "Well atleast I wasn't compeltly attached to anyone, thaat would make it worse...." She shook her head again then looked at the female. "But don't feel sorry for me. I've had good things in my life and the good things should always be better then the bad." She grinned at her slightly and extend a paw out to the other female and smiled softly.

Etsu nodded, and watched Zarah's paw a moment, not really sure what to do... "I think I understand..." She hadn't experienced many good things in her life - just the bad and the mediocre. Her relations with outside lions were nonexistent, so it was strange for her to interact with this lioness - there were so many things she wasn't sure of or how to respond to - like the offered paw. "I suppose in that sense, you're lucky..."

Zarah was slightly surprised at the fact she didn't really react to her paw. Then again as far as she could tell Etsu hadn't had that much attetion growing up. "Tell me Etsu... Has anyone truely cared for you? Have you had a friend?" Her voice was a little hushed as she moved closer and put her paw on Etsu's in a kind gesture, wanting her to feel a little more confurable, not wanting her to feel odd.

"No," Etsu replied, glancing down at their paws a moment, confused at first, but doing nothing about it. She assumed that Zarah knew a bit more about companionship than she did, and assumed that such a gesture was not meant to be harmful or even odd. "I was taught to be a lady and to be respectful to all other lions, but none of my siblings or the other pride members paid me much mind."

Zarah made a small face at Etsu's question. She sighed then stood up flopping down at the other female's side nudging her gently. She didn't like to hear things like that from other lions, her caring some what motherly side was coming out. "Thats really horrible Etsu. I'm sorry to hear that, I really wish you were able to get more attetion as you were growing." She looked foreward for a moment. "To me that is worse then anything I could have went through in my life... Not getting interaction with others." She shook her head.
