The fact that Vergil left his sword shocked Dante enough to stop his movements. He laughed and turned to pull the narrow Japanese style sword up from the ground and held it, "Still using girly weapons?" he laughed..."this is not a man weapon." he laughed and practiced swinging it around.
This was not sword...too thin and dainty. What one needed was a powerful broad sword!

The sandwich was very nearly within his grasp when Vergil heard Dante's comment about his sword - and despite the fact that he knew his brother was teasing him, his blood began to boil and he turned sharply on his heel.
"What did you say, brother?" he asked in a low tone, his eyes glowing in challenge. He held out his hand towards Dante in a manner that very clearly showed that he wanted his sword back. "You don't think it's good enough?"
He would show him ...

Dante laid his brother's sword over one should and with his free hand waved a finger, "Na your going to have to ask more nicely for that...after all you left it...maybe I will just break it off in the nearest demon." he said and looked at his brother a cocky look clear on his face.
He laughed, "You just enjoy your sandwich I take care of this...blade." he laughed soflty and turned on his heal.

That did it. Vergil's eyes narrowed until they were tiny slits, and he took off after his brother with a speed that was far greater than his usual swiftness. It was only a few short steps before he caught up with Dante, and his fist closed tight around the blade of his sword.
"Let ... it ... go," he said darkly, his voice filled with threats.
He didn't care that the blade was beginning to cut through his skin ... he needed his sword ... he had been a fool to let it go, even for the briefest instant.

Dante smiled, "Oh no brother, you didn't want it." he laughed and when he felt the blade still he kicked his legs back smack his brother in the chest pulling the blade back and landing up in a tree. "Oh no big brother...looks like your letting your emotions get in the way."
He shrugged and tossed the long blade to the ground. "I wouldn't use such a girly weapon. Any way."

Vergil clenched his teeth as he felt the blade slicing through his palm, but he knew that it would heal quickly - after all, he did have the blood of a demon flowing through him, did he not?
"You can say what you like to me," he glared at his brother, picking his sword up from the ground and using the base of his jacket to clean it off, "but don't you ever take my blade!"
He sheathed it carefully, glaring up at Dante way up in the tree - and then, without any warning, he darted back towards the shop, desperate for the food his body needed before the monsters began to show up in full force.

Dante laughed and jumped down running along side his brother he moved to jump threw a window and grabbed all the sandwiches within his arms. There was other food but not the large good sandwiches. "OH Sorry bro these all have a plan for them...to feed me!" He laughed and winked.

Vergil was getting frustrated and angry. It wasn't as if he just wanted the food as something he could get before his brother, it was something he needed!
"Fine," he growled. "Keep your sandwiches. There's more food here than just that."
Damn his little brother ... why couldn't he be serious for once? He was always playing around!
He opened a cupboard and found a package of something or other and ripped it open, then sat down to eat.

Dante smirked, "Your no fun..." he tossed the sandwiches to his brother, "Eat up bro...it doesn't matter...your so serious and you ruin all the fun." he sat on the check out counter and watched Vergil.
"Its all good big bro...its good to see you again."

Vergil caught the sandwiches and allowed himself a small grin at his brother.
"Likewise, runt," he agreed before digging in. He had wolfed down two sandwiches before he began to slow down a bit, and then he sat down and sighed contentedly. "Man, it's been too long since I've had any good food ... way too long."
And he started on a third, his eyes and ears open for any trouble.

Dante raised a brow and spread his chest showing his muscles, "Oh I don't think I am such a runt...Though I don't have a chest like yours." He rolled his eyes and started on his second sandwich. At least this time he would get to finish it.
He sat on the check out counter watching his brother. It had been a wail since they had been able to sit down and enjoy something together. He could hear some creatures starting to gather outside but there really was no reason for them to worry the stupid creatures were just gathering, it would not be hard to take care of them after the meal.

Vergil smiled at his brother, his eyes remaining as serious as ever. He continued to eat, watching his brother as Dante was watching him. He could sense the creatures that were trying to surround them outside the building, but he knew somehow that for the moment they would remain undisturbed inside while they ate.
He could feel his strength returning with almost every bite, and at long last, he licked his lips and stretched his arms.
"Well, bro," he asked in a light tone, "is there anything to drink in here before we get down to business?"

Dante nods, "In the fridge." he motioned his head towards the large refrigerators. He shrugged. "Yes I guess after this we should separate...after all if we stay together the fun will end too quickly." He slowly stood up and popped a sweet into his mouth.
"Well I guess I can head east out the back if you want to go out the west and front?"

Vergil's eyes were shadowed as he headed towards the fridge for a drink.
"You always take such pleasure in killing," he told his brother flatly as he pulled the fridge open and looked around in it. "Isn't that what makes a monster, a monster?"
He grabbed a can of coke and flipped it open, grinning at his brother over the top of it as he drank. He was of course teasing - halfway.

Dante smiled and shook his head. "No dear brother....I don't do mindless killing. And that is what separates me from them."
He smirked, "And don't deny you love it too. You actually light up when your killing. You even slick your hair back with their blood."
