Writers: R.A. Salvatore, Tolkien, Hideyuki Kikuchi.

Books: Icewind Dale Trilogy, Dark Elf Trilogy, anything else of the recently compiled and ordered "Legend of Drizzt", all by R.A. Salvatore. Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, all by Tolkien. The Vampire Hunter D Novels, by Hideyuki Kikuchi.

I can't think of any others off the top of my head at the moment.

Harry Potter! I've read those books so many times I'm surprised i can't memorise them by heart yet!

Artemis Fowl books are ok as well, and I always like a good horror book.

Favorites are so hard to say... But there's this book called The Danish Girl which was extremely good and particularly intriguing. Unfortunately, it seems as if few people have ever read it before...

Darn, and I thought my list of favorite music was long...
Okay, will try to abridge the list.
Authors: Anne McCaffrey, Stephen King, Gregory Maguire, Janet Evanovich. I'll add more when I think of them.
Books: (Aside from those by above authors) Memoirs of a Geisha, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, "A Journey"....crud, there is more, I just can't think of any right now. Darn it!!!

Haha I only have one, And she needs to be enshrined in a marble statue for her contribution to Society. Stephanie Meijer, Totally, Twilight made her rich, and she deserves it for the completely beautiful writing and talent she brought to the field of literature.

The House Of Night is the best series I have ever read. The third book sucked though. Waiting ever so patiently for the fourth one to come out. Good series if you like Vampire stories.

Phantom, by Susan Kay.

Best book I have ever read.
And I am not just saying that because I am a crazed Phan.
Her writing is so in depth that I cried numerous times while reading it.
If you can get your hands on it...read it!

Oh my gosh the book The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom is amazing.
At first I thought it would be very religulous therefore I put it off for quite a while, but wow it made me smile, frown, laugh, and cry.
Also Janet Evanovich is my favorite author by far all of her books I'm drawn into, even her old ones haha.

And of course, Harry Potter ;] Gotta love them.
