Micajah folded his hands in front of himself as he waited for the pair to approach, and as Nathaniel reached him first Micajah couldn't help but snicker inwardly at the student's very obvious unease at how he was dressed. He wasn't too surprised himself to see this boy dressed as a mad scientist (though he had to admit the goggles were cool) since it seemed to fit Nat's personality best, and with a polite tip of his upper body Micajah gave a small bow.

"Thanks for coming. Your costume is quote interesting."

He had to move closer to Nathaniel in order to speak loud enough to be heard, as even calling out to them like he had made his voice itch inside his throat. Tomorrow he'd be gargling with ice and salt and anything else for a few hours until at least the proper feeling came back. His body smelt faintly of cherry blossoms, a sweet perfume one of the mall girls had sprayed on him in one of her moments of squawking about how he looked so much like an angel, and he smiled brightly.

"Was there anything you wanted to do today, other than simply come out dressed for fun? I know we're going to start the events soon and I think there should be at least once you're interested in. I hear the prizes this year are worth it."

Impossible to hold back restraint any longer, he finally acquiesced and gave a nod of his head for his 'bow'. Rather than humiliate himself any further, he let his eyes decide his emotion. There would be no creepy inane smiles of character. There would only be the glowing radioactive green of his eyes. The eyes that could captivate anyone, or so he thought. Resisting yet another urge to take a step away from Micajah, he politely realized that the other could barely talk and so it must have cost him quite a bit to even call them over. Him and ...the one in the cape? A quick glance back at that person, a student he didn't recognize, and then he looked back to the gown and his peer.

"Thank you, as is yours. It... uh... it has a lot of detail to it," Nathaniel offered, not good with idle chatter or the likes, as Micajah should already well know. When he spoke again, it was with a slight tilt of his head almost as if in deep thought as to the kind of enjoyment he would like to pursue. "I'm not quite sure that 'dressing up' is 'fun', but I suppose some of the events will guarantee to be of some manner of enjoyment. I'm not all that familiar with... festive parties either..." His courteous smile said as much, however with his daringly creepy outfit... it only looked all the more off.

Oh whoa! He didn't even recognize his friend with black hair, but he still had that trademark smile, guess he should have known better. Scy was quite decked out himself. He hoped that sword wasn't functional. Not that his wasn't.

"Heeey...!" Sasha whined halfheartedly, poking Scyeth in the chest. "I am light..." He tried to look up at the usually blond-haired boy and almost tipped over. "Ahh this hat!" Little finger grabbed the brim before it could take him with it. "I am the red death, you know. A harbinger of death and disease and all that... stuff..." He eyed Scy up and down and smiled. "Niiice costume! Who are you... supposed to be?" The little boy hoped it wasn't something obvious and hurt Scy's feelings for not knowing. He was Russian! He wasn't supposed to know these things!

"Light?" Scyeth had to laugh. "You're 'the red death'. How can you possibly be light?" he asked, shaking his head. Really, Sasha was just too easy to tease, sometimes. But, the once-blond noted, the Russian was much more talkative then their last meeting. Given, that was some time ago. Maybe the other students actually did have some potential, after all. (Though, Scyeth wasn't really willing to pin much hope on that.)

Scyeth flipped (or tried, his hair still hadn't really grown back in yet) his hair behind his shoulder, shaking his head to try for the effect. "I'm the Chinese tactician, Zhou Yu. He lead the Wu army after his best friend died," the Australian explained, proud of his choice. The boy always favored someone fierce. Last year he was Reno of the Turks. Strange when compared to someone as noble as Zhou Yu, but it just goes to show how Scyeth had grown in the past year.

The soldier-in-training looked around, noticing a few other boys had joined the party. Good, good, people got his note! "Hey Nash!" Scyeth tried to wave the other younger student over. "C'mere." Other lackey? Perhaps.

Nash jumped suddenly having his named called he didn't expect anyone to notice but then, these costumes were so perfect that you couldn't tell. And everyone assumed the same voice and outward personality. Of all the students present he knew all but one and only took a quick glance before looking away.

Moving forward at command he stopped just behind Scyeth peeking at Sasha with a less then confident grin. "Hey." His voice was low barely noticeable but he managed to keep a light smile. Moving in view he stood there, hands clasped together. The hood to his cape hiding him away as he liked. "Nice party."

Micajah sighed for a moment before he kept that smile back onto his face, knowing that the boy in front of him once again was not being true to himself. Even on a holiday a stiff was a stiff, or so it seemed.

"Man, I was hoping you'd at least loosen up on a fun event like this, but it looks like you really just don't know how. Kind of a shame, actually."

He shrugged, the motion making his hair move to reveal earrings that clung neatly and seemed to sway with the motion. It was just like him to wear so much jewelry even for something as fun as a Halloween party.

"And thank you for the compliment. It took me a while to get the design I wanted done thanks to Scyeth constantly rattling me about how he wanted his to look and feel and move, and it took even longer when I found out that I would have to bead by hand if I wanted everything to look more natural."

The youth's face seemed to brighten as the conversation turned towards his clothing, a source of immense pride right now.

"I--" Okay now he was confused. Instead of arguing a battle he knew he would lose, Sasha snapped his mouth shut and let his friend continue on.

"Ohhh well that's pretty cool...!" He may not know a lot, but he did know some stuff about China, seeing as he was right by it. Another student came walking over at Scyeth's beck and call. "Oh hey Nash!" He was glad the few people he did know were here. Made him feel a bit less anxious at this party. He smiled eagerly despite his outer death visage. "Did you guys make your costumes?"

Nash tried shaking out of his usual stride of shyness. This was Scyeth and Sasha, they weren't too bad; though Scy had a way with words and actions that had a lot to be desired. With a shrug he pressed his hand over his cloak smiling brightly. "I had a little help from the mall girls. They demanded I do the works or I would disgrace the name of Zelgadis." Nash gave a soft wink finally growing a bit comfortable. He reached over to poke playfully at Sasha's hat. "Um...red death?" He questioned, then turned to Scyeth with a light smile. "Oh... Zhou Yu. I prefer Guan Ping myself."

"Oh, thanks." The party might not have been the once-blond's brainchild, but the youth had done well to adopt the thing, and couldn't help but be at least a little proud. Okay, a lot proud. Being humble was not one of Scyeth's stronger suits.

The Aussie pondered Sasha's question carefully, wondering if it would be appropriate to rat out his source. Maybe not, if he wanted another fabulous outfit next year. "N'aw, I commissioned mine," he said, which was truth enough. Hah, like he could sew. What a horrendous thought. He'd probably end up-

Scyeth positively lit up when Nash recognized his outfit. Well, well, well! The little farmer boy had much more potential than Scyeth would have originally thought! Major brownie points for him! "I'm a fan of the Wu in general. Sun Ce, Sun Quan. Gan Ning." You can never go wrong with pirates, you know. "So are we going to stand around like old mother hens, or do you guys wanna party?"

Oh, Scyeth, there you are. Where have you been hiding? Welcome home.

Meanwhile, the first teacher had arrive. Yes, he should have been there earlier. He really, really should have; he was in charge of the prizes and everything. Oh well, the boys could handle opening the event, couldn't they? That's why he assigned them to it.

The Adviser waltzed into the room, also in costume, though his might not be elaborate as any of the students. Why, he was dressed as the good doctor Kenth.

Ah, there were other students here, and they all looked entertained. Excellent.

Girls were interesting. Very interesting.

And devious.

Which was the only reason he was walking to the festivities in this outfit.

Honestly he thought that one costume was enough but no, they decided that he had to have two disguises. This whole scheme had taken almost all day to put together. Everything he was wearing was borrowed from the girls...and the few guys that were there too. They decided that turning him into a 'p***y' cat was what would make this whole thing perfect.

The brunette paused, hiding behind the tree to do the final adjustments. Mostly in his crotch. The freaking douchebags decided that if he wanted to pull this off right, he honestly didn't care if he did or not though, that he would have to tape all of his junk down. Which also involved waxing. Very. Painful. Waxing. Of course they said that it would be worse when he had to take the tape off.

Which didn't matter anyway because it took at least three tries before it was all taped down in a way that satisfied them. He just hoped that he didn't get turned on tonight, that would be painful. The teen shifted his legs a bit, not used to the feeling of lacy panties and white stockings. The borrowed brown sequin dress felt so short and a bit tight, but they said tight was necessary so that any natural curves he had would be exposed. And so that the oranges in the bra didn't pop out. He smelt like oranges and he felt so exposed. It was just too odd and they all owed him for this.

He shifted through the borrowed fur-purse for a mirror, mentally going through the checklist that they gave him.

Cat-like eyeliner, brown eyeshadow, and neat mascara. Check.

Striped body paint, pink nose, and whiskers. Check.

Neatly curled hair, arranged in a feminine way. Check.

Cheeks stuffed with those make-up applicator pads to make his face look more round. Check.

Cat gloves with matching pumps, headband, and tail. Check.

Feminine voice? He looked around to make sure no one was watching before reaching underneath the skirt and hit his family jewels. A mewl escaped him before he tried out talking. Yeah, that was definately high pitched enough. Check.

Finally he took out a bit of shiny pink lip gloss and applied it to his lips before stepping out of his hiding spot. Natural walk. Sexy like. His goal was to turn heads and turn them in a good way. There was a reason they made him listen to all those girl power songs.

Slate eyes shifted around looking for any familiar faces. This might be fun. He took a breath before standing up straight, sticking out his fruity chest a bit, taking one clicking step in front of the other.

Qiu Lin was making her entrance.

Micajah couldn't help but notice the new figure that strutted in dressed as another teacher, one he'd only seen at a brief glance, and he chuckled to himself as he wondered if the original Dr. Kenth would find this either flattering or enough to make him sick and want to punch the Adviser in the face. Hard.

Hopefully it wouldn't come to violence and Micajah moved his gaze around to keep tabs on the rest of the party, considering his current companion wasn't the most chatty or even expressive (read: talking to a stump) when he set his eyes onto a cat. Well rather, a cat woman...thing.

Oh god, was that Weiyuan, the one he hadn't seen since the fire? A bright grin spread across his face, albeit one trying to hold in a deeper laugh of shock and awe, and with a polite tip of his head once more to Nat he excused himself and scampered over to 'Qiu Lin'.

"Oh my. I didn't expect to see someone so....awesome."
PostPosted: Sun Oct 19, 2008 10:12 pm

The brunette blinked, pausing at the blonde that approached him. Hm, he recognized this boy, but where from? Oh, it didn't matter. As of right now he was some made up girl named Qiu Lin and not Weiyuan Leung.

Now this Qiu Lin was a very naughty girl. Qiu Lin loved flirting. Qiu Lin also loved pushing guys against walls and doing dirty things to them. Qui Lin was a Chinese slut and nothing more. Qiu Lin also didn't speak much English. But her damn accent was cute.

"Ah...hello. I...Qiu Lin." Bright cute smile. Check. Sticking out the fake boobs more than necessary. Double Check. This would be an interesting night.

The young man never heard of a holiday named Halloween until talks about this mysterious holiday began flowing around in the school of sciences. To know more about it, More had to search on the internet, and was able to get somewhat a vague idea of what the day was about. Although from the looks of it, it looked more like a "dress yourself up as spooky as possible" day than a day to celebrate harvest. The young man ran into the trouble of not able to find any suitable costumes. Advisor Herei, the costume-making expert, tried to fit More into a black-widow nightgown, and the young man refused as politely as possible, making a clear point that he did not want to be dressed up as the opposite gender despite any kind of situation. Without the advisor's help, the young man didn't have much time to prepare himself, so he grabbed one of the old jackets that belonged to a certain teacher (after asking for permission), and cut, then patched them up to make it ragged looking. Luckily enough he was able to get his hands on a decent (scary-looking) mask from the mall, and it was with this rushed outfit More entered the Halloween party, and was immediately amused by other students' outfits.

He had trouble recognizing Scythe, as the boy had his hair dyed...and was that Alexander, the boy he met in the hallways the other day? He looked a lot more cheerful than before, and dressed up like a fancy...devil person. There were other kids that he didn't recognize, some of them looked female. More scratched his head, and felt somewhat embarrassed by his own more-mundane-than-usual outfit. Oh well, at least it was better than not being dressed up at all...

"Pfft-"

Micajah clapped his hands quickly over his mouth as the sound escaped, the snort of approval and enjoyment. It wasn't that he was worried that 'Qiu Lin' would take it the wrong way and be offended and hit him, (who knew at this school, punches seemed to be a norm for offense), it was more or less because it was such a rude sound that didn't need to be made. Snorting at others even when you meant it in a good kind of way was slightly gross, and the sound was none all too flattering.

"It..it's a pleasure to meet you, Qiu Lin. I'm a snow angel, you may call me Yuki if you'd like."

Micajah moved back a dew steps and gave a proper curtsy, making the wings on his back bounce slightly. He'd been feeling pain tomorrow, as they were run under his dress with a wire and secured around his chest so they didn't even look fake should he move. The jewels on his head made a chiming motion as they clinked together, slightly sliding on his mop of yellow hair, and Micajah pushed them back into place as he stood back up.

He had not noticed yet another costumed body join their party (or else he would been whooping for serious joy at this miniature success), instead focusing his attentions on the dressed Weiyuan and the events scattered about.

"Would you like to try an event now that you are here, Lady Qiu Lin? The apple booth is all set up but I don't know if that would ruin your make up . . ."

Somehow, I'm going to visit Scyeth turned into a costume.

RuiZhi was not very happy about it. His sister had coerced him to her office where she sprung an outfit on him, and he, unwitting and trusting of the woman with a cheshire grin, had donned it. Now he felt like a complete fool, and that was after removing a good deal of the 'paint' and some strange fluff she'd added. She'd even gone so far as to get him startling blue contacts, accented by a light white stripe across his sandy skin. Granted, she had tried to make him look like the personification of a Chinese dragon, and without that fluff and body paint he looked more like some prehistoric monster. As he padded into the party, he had to admit that she had quite a way with materials, wiggling his toes comfortably in the split-toe shoes she had crafted claws onto. He tugged at the open shoulder sleeve of his upper garment, at least mollified that he knew where his old outfits had gone to.

And so, the half-dragon, half-creature mix sighed his way into the festivities. With his long hair combed into a neat and shiny loose ponytail, his glasses absent in favor of the contacts, he did feel a smidgen more regal and older somehow (although he'd never admit it out loud). He wanted to find his boyfriend, say that he showed up and book it out as quickly as possible. RuiZhi did not understand the madness of this holiday nor did he grasp why people would want to dress up like complete fools, but if it made his fellow students happy, who was he to rain on their parade? Moody, his blue eyes scoured the area for the teen that he had come to visit. If anyone would pay for this humiliation, oh yes, it would be Scyeth.
