The whole reason why I was upset was because I have helped so many people and I just got sick of those same people trying to always get something from me. For example... I had an extra monthly collectable from August and I GAVE it to someone I have given stuff to before in return for a October Monthly and I never got my half of the bargain. I let it go but I was mad after the fact cause I can't afford the October monthly collectable cause I am tight this month with 3 birthdays in October and a whole insurance situation. I know I should not let that affect me but I was down then. Now I just am saving to get my Oct collectable and hope things for the better. I only demoted almost everyone cause I seriously was going to sell it but after talking to Tilly it brightened my night to know I have such great people(VERY FEW) in the guild who are great people. Thanks to you all. I love you guys. heart

Interesting. o.O After a long break from Gaia, I came back for the MMO beta testing. Lotta different things happening to Gaia, my oh my.
Anyway.
Tushy, the Gaia is full of greedy people, and they will try to take advantage of your kindheartedness. It's unfair, I know. I got jipped by a lot of people I helped out, and it's never a nice feeling. If it's any consolation to you, I know how it feels, and it pisses me off too. |: It's partly why I took a break from Gaia; too much greed and deceit.
Hope you feel better, and I wish you the best of luck with your financial troubles. heart

I dont know the details. but i will be very sad to see the guild gone. I can see your wanting to pass some responability on to others in the guild, if real life has become busy. but pelase dont sell the guild. we love it here. and we love you as well.
(wonders how its possible to mooch in a guild that is free to join....hmmm????)

I know I don't come here all that often but I do like this guild, its a nice escape from the rest of Gaia where the regulars including you TUSHYNIPS, are always friendly.
If you do decide to sell it, consider what others have said and sell it to one of the users already in the guild.

Some people are immature dorks, and they have completely missed the point of working for something you want. If they ask you for anything, you can say that they should try entering contests, because that is the main way this guild gives stuff. if they are not satisfied with that. then maybe they are not a good fit for this guild. We are the "Fairy guild", not the "fairy godmother who grants you three wishes just because you showed up" guild. if they are still insistent, you can ask them if they would like to be replaced by a stick of wood and taken back to the mound...like real fair folk. (but that's a tangent for another day) Personally I like this guild, because a majority of the people who stay around are very nice and generous. I know that when I first got here, I was wearing only the Gaia starter clothes and Ceilishide (who i sadly have not seen around in a while) offered to buy me an outfit. And I told him the thing i wanted was the ballerina outfit (the old one, that appears not to exist anymore). I think he was shocked that that was all i wanted, cause he insisted on giving me socks too. But I thought it was the most generous thing something has ever done for me on the web. And then when I was really wanting a wonderland, but couldn't afford one, Pheonixfire somehow read my mind and put one up as a contest prize. So this guild is full of some of the most wonderful and generous people I know. However, I think it would be presumptuous of anyone to think that people will be super-generous upon just meeting a person. That's just silly. So anyone who does that to you Tush. You should just ignore them. Because they are definitely not worth your time.

Yeah - what they said!
I agree - this is a lovely Guild, full of kind and generous people. I shall never forget coming back home after my car crash, and logging on to find lots of gifts towards my quest items. It cheered me up so much, after a crappy day.
But - I would never ever dream of begging or scrounging from people. I always ignore begging messages - straight into the DELETE bin!
As I have stated before, I have no real money, too - I have to earn Gold to buy nice stuff - and I am usually Gaia-broke and RL-broke, having spent all I have!!
If anyone is causing you trouble, let us know - your Fairy Army will sort them out!! evil

I don't think you should sell the guild because of some stupid moochers. I know you don't want to seem mean but if the moochers are getting to you maybe you should start being more selective on who you give gifts to. I've had the same problem happeen to me where i would give some money to people then i would get like 3-4 different people pming me asking for money. I know what it is like its aggrivating but like i said be selective on who you give gifts to and you will still seem nice and you won't have to worry about the moochers

PEOPLE SUCK SOMETIMES AND THAT IT WAS LEAD ME TO GAIA TO FIND TRUE GOOD PEOPLE AND FRIENDS! heart biggrin
