Darn! This is great. I've wanted to try this too, but I haven't liked many of multiplayer games. FF's should be played alone, that is what my brain try to say all the time.

Fear not. This game feels far more like a Final Fantasy game than some of the other final fantasy games out there.

File Planet is making my life hard. I'm trying to log in the site to get code for trial to Play Online viewer to make this **** work. FP has some update system on login and it seemed to mess everything. No place for email validation code and no properly working account there. Code for Europe trial should have been emailed to me, still nothing at first try. Then resending. Nothing. Third attempt: 'we're unable to send activation keys right now, sorry.'
I'm giving up after more than a hour trying to solve this.
Am I doing something wrong, or is getting one trial up and running really this hard? confused

ack I'm so busy I still haven't gotten a chance to download the trial, oh and I had a question. The dragoon class, that's basically a dragon knight (like Freya) right?

I just gave up 'cause my Internet is really sporadic and won't stay up long enough for me to download a two gigabyte file. v_v I'mma ask my brother if I can't use his shiny new computer, though, and see if it'll go fast enough on that.
I'm pretty sure they're similar, but what the heck do I know anyway?

I don't know if I will download it...If I do manage to get time to devote to playing it so that I don't feel like my 14 day trial's waisted, it would mean I wouldn't be loaded with homework, wouldn't have a job or be job hunting, wouldn't go shopping unless I get a ride...so basically in order to put in enough time for me to really enjoy the game before the time limit's up, I think, I'd have to be on a two week or so vacation from school and a job or have not obtained a job but I need a job and I'd have to already have all the stuff I need---food and stuff, and I'd have to be somewhere where there's better connection...
*Sigh* or I might download it just to say that I played it...Oh, is it possible to take screenshots of/from the game without any special programs or is it not part of the game?

I was worried about wasting the trial too, but I'm more afraid they'll stop offering it if I wait too long. I definitely want to play at some point, and if I wait for a good opportunity, I'll never get to.
Can't you just take screenshots with Alt+Print Screen? Or does it not work while in the game?

Ok.... um how to put this....
I just looked at their main website, and saw and read some stuff that well brings rise to the need to ask a stupid sounding question...
This is still an ATB and/or turn based battle system... Right?

I don't get how you could ever do turn-based in an MMO. ATB sounds plausible. I checked out the site, and it looks a lot like XII to me. Is there something specific that made you ask?

Ok. After a two days of fighting with this cursed thing, I got it up and running. Almost. Now there is trouble loading updates and patches. And trouble is at the other end of the line.
I'm still hanging to slight hope, but this [Censored, censored, censored, CENSORED!!!] thing should be kicked up to the orbit but there is too much junk already so I'm frigging stuck with it. xp
