Primitus tore after rapidly, wings arching much like a bird's. However, unlike most birds, he did not fly-- the God of Leadership rarely did --but instead used them to help him slice through the air, the edges moving, fluctuating to help him move, corner, and so on. What was most intriguing was, his wings were large, large enough they probably COULD carry him.
He simply chose not to.
Massive paws thudded against dirt as he smiled, chasing and gently nipping for the tip of her tail, laughing so hard it made capture almost impossible.
He liked having company he didn't feel need to be on a pedestal.
He felt... Normal.

He was diffrent from all the others she has ever met before. He was just like her-laughing and having fun-and not treating her like she was a whole diffrent being. Like she was alien. This feeling gave her more happiness than she could barely handle, her pale paws scrambling and sending dust up into the dry air. She could feel him on the tip of her tail and she gave leaps, to make sure he wouldn't get it-though it was obvious his mouth was to occupied. She laughed too, looking behind her with teal eyes wide and happy. This was the best way for this day to end-truely.
She slid sideways and gave his rump a good hit with her paw-no claws of course-laughing like the little idiot she was. He wasn't flying-which was odd. If she had wings, she'd fly all the time... but.. he was on the ground with her. Just, running and using his wings for momentum. This, pleased her ever so-and she couldn't help but skip around.
"Have you ever played the tail game! At least tell me your name so I can win and say I won against you!" She laughed.

"Tail game? No... Will you teach me?" Primitus smiled, jumping and spinning happily, grinning. He listened to her question, but didn't sit, bowing his head instead.
"My name is Primitus..." He grinned. He was fairly sure he was obscure, but if anyone doubted... "And I'll come with you, if you want. To prove it."

Boko boko turned and smiled at him. Primitus... What an odd name. But then again-he was a god and they usually had unusual names. She smiled, glad to know his name now. "Nice to meet you Primitus." She said. "And the tail game... well... umm...' She paused and rubbed her cheek thoughtfully. How to explain-
"Well, you have a tail and I have a tail. The game is-catch one another's tails before the other does.. and then you win... " She said, waving her own tail around slowly. "But one does not bite the tail, just hold it lightly in the jaws. " She clenched her teeth to make a silly face-of how not to do it. "And if you lose... you have to give the winner your tail." She said with a bright-wide smile. She stood up and her hind end swung happily.

Primitus listened carefully, then nodded, swaying his tail teasingly before jumping back with a grin.
"Come get me, then!" He beamed.

She bounded upwards and began to pad after him-her paws padding after his tail with such enthusiasm and excitement-that she tripped over her own paws. She tumbled and fell forward, her chest hitting her paws. She squacked, her blue eyes squeezed shut tightly. She lay there, her legs all disarray, her little brown top fluff all a dizzle.
She looked up at him, her little chin wiggling as tears began to fill her eyes. She was embarassed-and discouraged. Here she was, totally showing how mortal she was. She tucked her aching paws against and under her chest-and tried to still her small murmers of embarasment.

Primitus spun as he heard the fall, seeing the tears. The male straightened, approaching quietly, before he nosed her gently, warmly, and rumbled worriedly, before he got an idea. He sat, and swept his tail tuft next to her paw, then looked down at it, as if he hadn't noticed, then looked to her, smiling gently.
"Oh..." He smiled. "You got my tail!"
The god sat.
"It seems I'm a prisoner!"
He grinned.

Nana felt impending tears building up beyond her teal eyes-and felt so mortal. Not only was she making a fool of herself-but she was doing it in front of this wonderfully nice-caring male whom she was starting to adore. She was about to burst forth in her fretting when something hit her feet and she gazed down at it. It was his tail, and she sat staring at it-her teal eyes blinking slowly... did she just win? She looked up at him, her lower jaw opened slightly. She looked down at it again... then up at him gleefully-ignoring her aches.
"I did get it... " She said enthusiastically. She looked down at his tail and bent-picking it up slowly in her mouth and showing it to him proudly-her chest puffed out. She then released it.
"That was the easiest game I have ever played... " She said with a grin.

Primitus smiled, seeing her cheer up.
"Well, it doesn't hurt that I've never played before." He smiled, and without thinking, leaned in, licking her cheek quickly before looking at his paws shyly.

Nana stopped and gazed at him. Perhaps he did'n't have any siblings... or perhaps he just was lonely. She puffed out her chest-throwing herself up and wrapping her paws around his larger frame.
"Then I guess I will have to play with you forever to make up for it!" She laughed, chewing on his ear. She took notice of his facial markings-and they amazed her for a moment-and then his eyes caught her view... they were diffrent-but she liked them. She reached out a paw and touched it to his eyebrow.
"I like your eyes... they look like little 'face stars'." She said thoughtfully. She slipped off his back and lay on the ground with a silly grin. "Little stars Little stars-why are you on Primmys face?" She sang slowly, before a yawn escaped her lips.

"I'd like that." He responded, honestly. He smiled when she began to chew his ear, and fell on his back, pawing her shoulder gently, playfully, hoping to just play.
"Stars?" His ears pricked forward, curiously.

Nana smiled and nodded. She reached up and put a paw over one of his eyes. She reclined and shut her eyes. "Yes.. .like little stars they are-all glowy. All sparkly like the sky stars are. When I look at them-and then look at your eyes they are so the same... and then your wingies." She wiggled on the ground and wrapped her paws around her self.
"And your wingies are all stary too... It is so pretty..." She stared to nod off a bit. She reached up and rubbed her face. "'s like stars Primmy. I like it... I like you."
She opened her eye to gaze at him, the other eye shut. "I likes you alot Primitus..."

Primitus began beaming softly, and lay down next to the lioness, eyes shutting as he rest his head on her shoulder, eyes shutting as well.

Nana smiled up at him, leaning against him slowly-unsurely. She only really ever snuggled like that with her mother, but this god wanted to snuggle too? She liked that-alot. She sighed, burrowing her head against him.
His words echoed in the back of her mind for a moment-before she yawned.
Soon sleep took her... and soon-he would take her heart.

Primitus didn't fully respond, merely, he rumbled, deep and low in his chest contently. Rarely, did he feel like this....
And he hadn't felt like this in a long time...
As he drifted to sleep, he smiled, for the first time in a long time, feeling at peace.
