Laguz are laguz. Sprites can be made.
Maln is a summoner. A summoner sprite can be put in.
And I can't speak for Weiss, but I'm pretty sure he isn't an assassin, since we already have an assassin; Merenoff. That's right. Merenoff. I'm not lying. Nobody thought his avi looked like an assassin? I had thought that Weiss was a swordmaster, myself, so that we didn't repeat classes.
I have mixed feelings about Roy's class being lord. Think about how Eliwood is clearly a paladin and hector a general. What would Roy be? A hero?
I would think Fire Dragon was given the thing that allows him to take on a human body, so that he could live in FEF Kingdom, peacefully, thus making him technically a mamkute. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to live in the kingdom. Unfortunately, that takes a cut in his power, but oh well, y'know? He'd rather live peacefully then live in solitude and loneliness.
Dang, this requires a bunch of work from me.... I have to work with some of the morhp mugs that I've already made, still, plus the ones that I haven't made. But you can go ahead and ask Synra for her mug, since she made hers.

When working with the game's code, you're limited to what's there. There's a huge difference between spriting and ROM hacking; they go hand in hand but you're trying to compare two things that are absolutely nothing alike. Laguz, mamkutes, summoners do not exist in FE7's code. Therefore, you can't use something that isn't there. Weiss, swordmaster, Merenoff, assassin? Can do. But majority vote insists Weiss is indeed an assassin. I'll get the final word from, y'know, Weiss's creator. There's a difference between 'Lord' and 'lord'. A Lord is the main character of the game, the only character who can seize thrones, etc. As far as classes go, there are three lord classes: Eliwood lord, which I'll refer to as fencer, Lyn lord, which I don't have an official name for that fits, and Hector lord, brawler. They're unique classes, but they're specific classes, no different than thief or myrmidon. When modifying the game's code, any character can be any class I would so choose. Case in point: As for the mugs, all they really require is speaking frames. Technically, FE7 mugs have blinking frames, smiling frames, and plain speaking frames. But the character just won't blink if it doesn't have blinking frames, and plain speaking frames can be inserted over the smiling frames, meaning all you REALLY need is the plain speaking frames. So while a typical spritesheet consists of smiling, blinking, and speaking frames, you can get away with the bare minimum and it'll still turn out like this.So trust me, I know what I'm talking about, here.

And on a side note, Vah is making my mug for me (Alcy).

I say we make the laguz into FE7 classes. The problem with hawks being falcoknights is I can't picture Tibarn riding around on a pegasus...
His stats suggest more of a Hero type character.

[Why would Lilina make weiss an assassin, if Merenoff was already an assassin...?
Yeah, Aran's a soldier.
I still don't see why you can't insert the code for the sprites yourself, and have a summoner and stuff, despite them not existing in FE7.
But when I say that the mugs need work, I mean like how Madriana's body needs editing.

I can try to make custom Tibarn sprites based off of the flapping of Falcoknight wings, if you'd like.
Tacitus: Weiss is an assassin.

It's not just sprites; there's a whole slew of syntax around a given class and how it'd fit. The syntax for laguz transformation, summoning, and mamkute transformation isn't there, and unless you do a whole massive modification of the assembly code (the actual game engine) they're not going to. And as I said, only a select few even know what the hell they're doing there. I'm not one of them.
Also, don't bother with custom battle sprites. Inserting custom battle sprites is a very fickle process, and even the pros aren't entirely sure how it works.

[//OOC;;] I think she made him an assassin long before the event or before Merenoff was created. Because unlike the other morphs he has a back story, suggesting he's a long time OC.

I just think that hawks were more like mercs/heroes than peg knights. Most of the laguz seemed more like classes that weren't mounted.

Phazonite I just think that hawks were more like mercs/heroes than peg knights. Most of the laguz seemed more like classes that weren't mounted. That's true, but an important part of using hawks strategically is (1) avoiding bowmen and (2) flying over unwalkable terrain.
