The Rito stops momentarily to blink quite owlishly at the suspended question. What were mushrooms? Didn't everyone know what the little buggers were called?
"I-I shows you, c-c-c'mon," He then looked just as darkly towards the trail when the fairy mentioned the volcano. He surely hoped it wouldn't. He gave a little shiver and momentarily closed his eyes.
"No." The boy hefted the empty sack over his head and started to jog. "We explore nows! We, 'r the f-f-famous explora' of the worlds."

"ok" she murmurs and follows him to look at 'mush-rooms. "I think it will. Bad things happen around me. They always do. ANd what are explora's, I don't want to be famous." she moans.

Tatiana gave a light wave of her hand to reassure the banshee, "Don't worry so much. Fairies are good luck, so my good luck can counter your bad luck."
She gave a quick twirl as they made a twist up the path, "As for being famous, well I don't know that I'd want to be all that well known. But Whinnie, you might grow to like it. You get lots and lots of people to play with." The fairy paused, frowning in thought, "Well, perhaps being famous and being popular are two different things. I wouldn't mind being famous, but I don't think I'd want to be popular."
Flicking her eyes to the tall rocks around them, Tatiana wondered what was at the top, "Don't some creatures live along here?"

Mirrari shivered as he marched onward, stopping momentarily to motion Whinnie to join.
"W-we don' have t-t-to be famous. Explora's wander for a l-l-living, finding and bringing home special th-th-things." The platinum blonde bob continued on with a second glance to see the two were following him before turning back. He muttered that the volcano couldn't possible spew. It hadn't done so in ... well it was a long time, that Mirrari knew. The little boy couldn't count that far but he knew that it was practically impossible for the fire to ever come out.
Soon enough on the side of the trail, scraggly mushrooms came into view, litchen types jutting out uncommonly similar to little coral-like dishes holding water for the near dead plants they grew on.

Whinnie floats along next to Mirrai. "Oh ok, I guess that makes sense. I just don't like people. And I don't know, I just know the ones that are always watching, always watching. But I do like to wander. I like things too. I will be a explora' then." she smiles at Mirrai and cringes away form the strange plants she hates. They look like when her home exploded.

Not too far away, Blade and Volvagia were relaxing some. The former had just come by to visit his friend, and to make sure that he was doing well. After all, there was always the chance that someone may come along to try and pick a fight with the beast. While they sat around, Volvagia glanced up as he heard a few things nearby. It seemed that there were some travelers of sorts around his home.
After giving the thief a quick glance, he flew off into the air to investigate. It wasn't too long before the big fiery kettle newt spotted a few beings down below near the trail. His curiosity got the better of him, and they didn't seem all too dangerous so he quickly began to descend towards them all.
Not sure what had caused the dragon to fly off like that, Blade started to go down the trail, himself to see what was going on. Considering he couldn't fly and was left behind, it would take him a little longer to be able to find what caught Volvagia's attention.

Nodding at what Mirrari had said, Tatiana floated around him, "I wouldn't mind that. Bringing something special home, I mean." She wasn't much of a pack rat, being one to travel, but she did have a fondness for unique things.
Flitting back towards Whinnie, Tatiana gave a comforting smile, "Can't watch through the window forever. No fun that way."
Pausing again, Tatiana peered up into the sky. A fireball.. with eyes? She could barely hide the grin, "Oh look. The mountain is erupting."

Whinnie looks up ." I told you, red eyes, always watching, always watching. Watch out you may die. Bad luck, bad luck. Fire, fire, always watching, always watching."
She has issues. We will wait till tomorrow to see how everyone else reacts.

Mirrari was just starting to break off the mushrooms, trying to ignore the doom and gloom his new friend was speaking of until Tatiana mentioned the fireball.
Fireball? The green-blue eyes nearly bugged out as he froze. The mountain isn't supposed to errupt! Was it always quiet? Maybe that's why it was so dangerous, one never knew when the mountain was really going to erupt.
"Oh, n-n-noes!" He exclaimed when he managed to turn around to see. It was so bright, firey. Deadly. "T-t-take cover!" Mirrari squated down towards the ground, flinging his arms around his head and squeezed his eyes shut.

As he came down, Volvagia saw a Rito boy taking cover at the sight of him. He knew he could look fairly intimidating, but the others around the Rito didn't seem to be as scared. Or maybe they were and just weren't showing it so much.
The fiery kettle newt landed a few feet away from the little gathering, before examining them some. A fairy, a ghostly looking flare dancer, and the scared Rito... not exactly the type of group he saw everyday. He tilted his head some while letting off a low grumble of sorts. Just what were these people doing here together?

Feeling quite pleased at the boy's reaction, Tatiana gave a short giggle before flitting to the now perched firey Volvagia. She didn't actually know what the creature was, but she saw him as great potential for much mischief.
Floating back to the group, she lowered her voice, "Hey, we could always bring him home. I bet that would make a name for you." She went back to inspect the creature again, flitting around in a circle, "Have you evolved far enough yet?" Tatiana asked with a serious face, meaning it quite literally. Perhaps he was from a rock. She wanted to know if he could talk, or at least think enough to be able to play. New things always warrented excitement, and she hoped to share her excitement with her newfound companions.

Whinnie watches Mirrai and cocks a eyebrow at his over-reaction. Whinnie does have a start when it grumbles. She stares her one eye at it curiously, "Always watching is a sentient being of course." whinnie says confidently

Mirrari looked up from his squatting position. The world wasn't ending? Horray! As he looked at the kettle newt the bird-boy's knees buckled and he landed onto his rear with a soft fwump.
"B-b-bring that back with us?" Mirrari asked squeakily, "I don't-t-t think so, no." He emphatically shook his head to make his point.
The Rito heaved a large sigh for such a small chest while staring at the firey creature absently. If it attacked them they wouldn't have a chance. He could only hope to talk to it.
"Uhm, did you want t-t-to play?" He called out in a high pitched voice, "Are you hungry? I have food." Mirrari glanced down and started to shift things in his bags and pockets, looking for tidbits.

Volvagia stared at the fairy that had floated on by him, then mention bringing him back with them. Now he didn't really like the idea of that so much; he might not be able to speak but he wasn't about to go and be someone's pet! But at least the flare dancer could tell that he was sentient.
With a low growl, he nodded at the question of being evolved or grown fully before turning his attention towards the Rito. The fiery creature wasn't so sure what they were playing, but food was always a welcome thought for him. He slithered closer towards the Rito, sniffing at him to see if there were any interesting food-like scents about him.
Further up the trail, Blade managed to spot Volvagia as well as the others below him. At least it seemed that the lava dragon wasn't causing a panic here, or getting himself into trouble. Well that's what it looked at least. It would probably be better to check up on the situation and all still.
The young man jogged to catch up with his fiery companion and glanced at the other three in the area each with his dark red eyes.
"Ah... Volvagia here isn't causing you guys any trouble is he?"
At that, the kettle newt gave a snort, as if resenting that question.

Whinnie chants upon seeing Blade ," Red red everywhere but not a hint of mercy. Everywhere, everywhere, always watching, always watching." She comes up to his red eyes and goes to poke but just passing thought his skin. "I want them." she then turns to the Always Watching and goes to touch the fire but goes right though. "Ah not a drop of mercy, NO MERCY FOR WHINNIE. no no " she cries out in her screeching manner.
