Luna woke up, near the afternoon, since she was one who would stay up late and sleep all day. She rubs her eyes and put a blanket around her purple nightgound. She slowly goes down the stairs, and into the kitchen, her hair was a mess, and started to tense up. She takes a deep breath. Its ok..they won't kill you..even though they are pure and you aren't. Luna goes into the library, and flinches, seeing her 'father' and 'brother' in their. She grabs her coffee and sits on the couch across the room from them. She takes a sip, remaining silent.

Grey walked down the steps of the castle still rubbing sleep out of his eyes. Looking down he noticed the doctor coming inside and walked over to meet him.

"Morning Grey. I'm afraid we had a tie again last night..." Gordon said to his aide, "I warmed up some bread in the oven for breakfast before I go back to the lab. Would you like some? It's sourdough..."

Adam quietly walked onto Mr. Ulric's land. He quietly walked into his home and into the tower. He watched uterlyquiet as the other chanted his spellls and rose more of the army.
Lance jummped when his father spoke he didnt realize anyone was in here this early. "Morning father." the youngest male said with a tiered smile. He smiled tohis sisster and said. "Morning Luna." With that he walked around the library finding a book from 1812 and beganto read it at a normal pace.

Adrian smiled, "1800's eh? had you looked back a few to the 1300's, you'd learn something about Ulric von Himmel, or as he was known back then, the Dark Watcher... Luna, if you wish to read, please do. we have much that hasn't been seen for quite some time."

"Really? He's that old?" Lance asked with slight disbelif he thoguht the necomer was a meer human not anything more. The youngest son set the book back and scanned the rows finding the 1300'2 about 5 shelves up. He jummped up and gently plucked a book from teh shelf. "I guess I can start here." he said quietly

~Fortune The skies were dark. Stormy, maybe, but definitely dark. Thunder could be heard, but no lightning illuminated the night air. It was humid. Damp, the kind of air that made your sweat-soaked clothing freeze you until you obtained the common sense to seek interior shelter or die. Depending on the location, some people died. Magic was a treacherous thing. You can use it, for good or for naught, but someone else could always use it to end you. We all use the same magic. Well, those of us who can. Knowledge. Was there ever such a hypocritical thing? Knowledge is described as how much information we've obtained. However, it only really shows how much we don't know, which is, frankly, most everything. Nicholas Fortune. Protector, exorcist, demon-bane. Killer, mercenary, assassin. Schizophrenic? Maybe, but he'd never tell. ((I've only realized that this little piece of writing cannot continue unless I have one important question answered. Do the events of this rp take place in modern times, or in the 1900's, or possibly even before? It affects what type of equipment is available to my character.))

A tie's better than losing, I suppose, Grey remarked. But we'll get 'em next time Doc. He turned, following the Doctor and his promise of food. That bread sounds lovely.

Luna eyes widen, when they noticed her. I was completely silent...how could they hear me? Is that part of a pure vampire's power? She wondered then replies, "Good Morning to you both." She takes another sip of her coffee, since it was still warm, and continuously refreshed her. "And no thanks. I just came to relax. Thats all..." She adds. She wraps her blanket tighter around her, since she still felt uncomfortable living with the Bachel's, even though she has been with them for atleast two years. She began to shiver, but her skin was already cold, but didn't kow why.

(the tech of the area here is in the late 1800's, but overseas where Dr. Gordon comes from, it's mid-1900's. the year, however is 1884.)
Dr. Gordon nodded, "That stage magician will lose one of these days... then we can get about our work in peace..." He removed the bread from the oven and began to cut it with a knife, slicing even portions for both of them.
---
"Yes, Ulric is about 600 years old. I believe he stopped aging after he became 20. The man is an established necromancer. All the more reason to avoid him. I doubt he'd welcome the thought of a family of vampires within his small domain." Adrian smiled, then turned to Luna, "Suit yourself, the library won't disappear if you don't read from it." Adrian said, grinning. the then swiveled in his chair to face his desk, which was lit by candles.

Luna stood up, and grabbed a book, it was called, Dracula. Luna sighs. Vampires...what about halfies? Luna then hears their conversation and asks, "Who are you talking about?" Who was this Ulric??

Grey nooded his agreement. Of course that magician would fall to their might. His magic would never stand under the awesome might of their science. He took a piece of bread and nibbled on it, enjoying the taste.

"Ulric, my dear. He's a necromancer who lives in the tower on the hill." Adrian replied calmly. "If you look down the north path of the town at night, you'll see him and Dr. Gordon having a war..."
---
"I heard the children's entertainer recently got a new apprentice... Pity. It seems the backwards bumpkins in the village don't care for progress..." Dr. Gordon bit into his bread, then looked at it, "this needs butter...""

"Oh." Luna says shocked. He lives so close.. Luna took another sip of her coffee, which was beginning to get cold. She puts some of her fallen hair behind her ear, so it would be easier to sip with, and it would show her face more. "Why are they having a war?" She asks curiously.

Did he now? Grey scoffs dryly. Well simple people do tend to avoid what they can't understand. Those superstitous villagers only belief seems to be in magic.
