Glancing over his shoulder as he hit the bushes, she looked forward, expecting to see Azula's tail at least... But there was no sign of her. He ran forward deeper into the woods, and sniffed at the air. She had really taken off. Haru's run slowed into a brisk walk and then a full stop. He didn't understand.
He looked around for her. He could very well track her down... And he figured it would be best to do so. Places his nose into the hair, his anger had left his body... And he followed his scent.

Azula, head hunched, tail low, and paws quick, had ran as far and as fast as she could. In her hurry, she crashed into more than one stray bush and tree, and had even stumbled into a river when she stole a quick glance over her shoulder, afraid something, or someone, might be following her.
Now, tired and dripping wet, Azula curled up under a bush, whimpering. She missed Haru already, but she was still afraid of what she had seen. Curling up tighter, she shivered, realizing she had forgotten to shake the water out of her coat. However, instead of getting up and drying herself, she stayed where she was, contemplating. She really did miss Haru.

Haru followed her. She found her sent and just went after it. He had started to notice how haphazardly, she had been running. As he walked up to the water, and her sent path was gone he realized that she had been running from something. She didn't seem scared of the human... He looked around and he didn't see her. He was in such deep thought he didn't even sense her near by.
"Azula..." In the back of his mind, he thought maybe it was him. But He couldn't let that be his main thought. She had no reason to ever fear him. Letting his eyes look around again, the light colored helix turned around, and looked out.

Azula froze when she heard her name, until she realized who it was. She peeked out from under the bush, nose twitching, and saw him on the other side of the river. "Haru." she called, but it was so quiet it would be impossible to hear it over the river.
She looked at him again, and saw that his previous anger was gone, replaced with a look of worry. She felt saddened for being the reason for the look on his face and crawled out, calling him again in a louder voice.

Haru let his eyes fall. Did she not want to be found? Or worse, found by him? The feeling made him feel empty. He didn't know what to do... But then his ear twitched hearing a voice.
He doubted it would be Azula at this point, but when he looked over the river it was her. She had hidden herself away. A wave of relief washed over him, and he walked to the edge of the river. "Are you okay?" He called out over it.

"I am fine." Azula replied, paddling over to his side of the river bank. Letting the water drip off of her fur, she went over to him, too concerned to dry herself off, and nuzzled him.
"Haru is fine?" she asked, worried. He had been the one to face the human, not her. All she had done was run away, and she felt guilty.
