Siti silently wondered if Jishin was even listening to her, but she guess it did not matter. She seemed to be listening, sort of. At least she was responding. Siti could say however, that she was wearing her patience thin and she was rather irritated and it showed in her tense posture.

Siti let it slide, Jishin was rude and that was not her fault. The female was also not her cub so she tried not to scold her for her behavior. Soon she would be dealing with the issue on a smaller scale, but to a larger degree. She would be sure to teach her cubs manners.

Jishin question made her smile, "Well like I said before manner can get you the things you need most in life, when you are incapable of getting them yourself. Manners got me a few effort free meals from a friend. Manner makes for better conversation because people want to be around you and having manner can even lead to learning something new. A friend of mine taught me a dance move and encouraged me to practice on my own. I can not practice all the well in my current state, but it gave me a fun new hobby."

Siti thought for a moment as to what else manner were important for and she thought to those who were a little hostile. "Manner also make it less likely for you to be attacked without a reason from the attacking party, in most cases. Also the lack of manners could make it more likely for you to be attacked by those who are more hostile."

She was a little tired now and decide to lie down on the soft cool earth. "I for one would not want be be on the recieving end of an angry felines harsh blows. I have been there once and it is not much fun. I have the scars to prove it."

Siti knew she really had to thank Bara, being that it was because of him that she had run into Mito again and the see was soon to be a mother. She would not take back the fight for the world, if it meant her cubs would not be born, but that was not going to drive the point home to Jishin and she wanted to make her point clear.

Jishin raised a brow. "I can do everything on my own, so manors are useless to me." She simply said with a "I know all" attitude. She never even thought about asking for help from anyone. She did it all herself normally. Dancing? Why would anyone want to dance? She didn't ask. Everyone to their own, she supposed. Useless dancing was. What'd it get you? Nothing...

"Ahaha, I'd like to see others attack me. I can take care of myself." She said very confident that she could handle any creature to attack her. She did take on a lion and beat him, but he didn't fight back. She thought perhaps most lions where like that. The leopard who attacked her just caught her off guard was all. She flicked her tail.

She rolled her eyes. "I've handled myself this well. I'm no child." She was still stubborn as all get out. But she didn't want to just openly admit that she wanted someone to teach her things that her parent's hadn't the time for. Well, her father anyways. She liked to think she didn't have a mother at all, even though she knew she was out there somewhere. She didn't want to ask for lessons on anything. But wouldn't refused if offered.

"Being the way I am, has kept me alive. If I had been soft, I would have been killed a while ago." She told the female, as if she'd been on her own from the start, which was pretty much how it was. As soon as she had learned to hunt, she was gone.

Siti was puzzled by Jishin, her words were all so harsh and she seemed unable to say one nice thing. It was as if the things Siti had said to her had not matter, but at the same time Jishin was still listening and asking questions, as though she was curious about what Siti was saying.

She was happy to see that Jishin was confident in herself, but something, most things larger than her, could take her. Siti saw trouble in the females future if her attitude did not change. If she ran across a hyena, hippo, elephant, or a group of animals with that attitude she could be if for a fight she wouldnt win. Her thought again turned to Bara and she imagined young Jishin running into the mean male who was even much larger than Siti herself.

As she thought on Jishin words, it occurred to her that Jishin had been alone for much longer she had thought. She said she was traveling, but Siti wondered for just how long. Siti thought manners Jishin needed to learn even if she did not use them.

"I think that manners are something you should learn. I learned them as a cub before my family died in a storm and am soft, as you so call it. Many creatures helped as I grew up, even though I did not meet another feline until I was an young adult. They pointed me to water and leftover until I was big enough to hunt. The strangers enjoyed talking to me because I was so polite and I got to travel with a few animals, as an adult I probably would have just seen as dinner. I learned that all animals are special in their own way even though they may be different."

Siti stopped for a second looking to Jishin curiously, "I could teach you if you'd like. It would be no trouble at all. You may find yourself in a situation one day where you will have to or even would like to use your manner, even if you do not use them on a regular basis."

Siti figured when her cubs were born she would be teaching them manners as well, it would be good practice and Jishin would have manner even if she chose not to use them.

Jishin's mouth always said something else, then what her heart said. Her mind would ignore her heart at times. But sometimes, sometimes it was just too hard to ignored. Like this situation for instance. She wanted a mother figure, and right here she had one. Of course, she'd never admit it. She hated her mother for leaving them, for not even saying anything to them at all. Just disappeared, never to be seen again. For, she was the reason she hated leopards so much. They were all the same, she figured.

"I had no family to learn anything from." She told her. Not a bit of sorrow in her voice. She learned to hide her feelings well. Only anger remained really. "If you must know, My mother left us when we were younger. Leaving my father to watch us. Though, with so many cubs, he couldn't watch us all. Which is when I left." She explained it. Not really knowing why. But she felt the female should understand her a bit more.

"My mother left us, cause she thought we were freaks of nature. Creatures that shouldn't have ever been born. We were accidents." She continued. "Where my siblings learned to hate lions, I learned to hate who we should have learned to hate" Her siblings where so closed minded. They wanted to hate lions for treating them like scum, but it wasn't their fault. "Leopards, like my mother." There were more reasons she hated leopards, but she wasn't about to say that she didn't win that fight at all.

"I'm afraid, manners were left out in the matter" She continued." See, you can't learn something you don't already know yourself." Her eyes looked straight at the female. Brilliant red ruby eyes. Full of hate, and nothing else for she really didn't know anything else. "If you must teach me, I am all ears, but don't expect me to enjoy any bit of it." She said. More of her plead to have the female teach her.

Her tail flicked up and down as she watched the female. She'd be spending a lot of time traveling with this female. It'd be nice, she thought. Even if she'd never tell the female, at least not until she was to depart from her. She had no idea what she was getting herself into, but that was no matter. Not like she could really do anything about it now.

Siti frowned at Jishin's leaving her family, she thought it was sad how the beginning of the young females life had been. It was sad that her mother had left them, but she had not even know her father. He had been off in his travels before her mother even knew they were to be born.

It shocked Siti to hear that her siblings hated lions, but she hated leopards like her mother. She wondered how a mother could think her cubs freaks and felt the need to voice the Jishin was no such thing. "It was wrong of you mother to think of you in such a way. You are not a freak, but instead a beautiful feline with a lovely coat."

Siti figured that although Jishin did not show it, she was probably hurt by her mother leaving her and her harsh sentiments to her and her siblings. "You really should not hated other animals, you will find that most are that bad to know, but I can understand why you do."

"You do not have to enjoy it, but I will teach you." Siti's stomach growled loudly enough to be heard and she have a small laugh. "But first, I need to hunt. You are more to welcome to help, wait, or catch you own, but you are more than welcome to share mine."

Siti moved to look for some suitable prey, wondering whether or not Jishin would follow. She hoped that if she did not follow she would not go to far. Siti did not know if she was up for searching for Jishin.

"Not that bad... Not that bad." She started." A leopard attacked me for no reason. I hadn't said anything, he just leaped out and attacked me." She spat out before being able to control herself. She had the scars to prove it, but they were small had hardly noticeable. "All leopards are the same." She said. "Inconsiderate of others, rude, and all the other things I could call them but I won't." The next leopard she saw wouldn't be so lucky. They'd not get the same chance the male leopard that attacked her did. She'd attack them, and kill them if they didn't watch it.

"I'm fine with any other creature." She said, trying to clam herself down. She watched Siti stand. She figured it wouldn't hurt to help catch something. She nodded at the female and went with her. Flicking her tail. At the moment, she rather not be alone, even if she wasn't really that well to help. It only really took one to hunt, didn't it?

Udo'Tau's paws hit the ground queitly as he walked, his mind was everywhere but where he was going. His sister was taken from him, he didn't know what much to do. His sister was the main thing that was keeping him togeather... He hadn't cried much anymore but now it was just something in the back of his mind at all times, it was like a ant bite, but it wouldn't stop burning.

His current wandering was aimless, he wasn't that sure where he was going but something was drawling him that way. He started to slow down as he approched a rock, a large rock, perfect for him to sit on and think. She looked at the grass under his feet and sighed slightly then curled his tail around his legs as he sat down on the rock and looked around.

A small scent tickled his nose as he started to snap out of his day dreaming like state. He started to look around, he was quiet curious about who was around.

Siti smiled as Jishin followed her thinking this would be an interesting experience teaching her how to use some manners. She looked to Jishin as she follow and thought that Jishin did not look to interested in hunting, not that she really need help. She was a rather good hunter. As the pair came close to a few grazing gazelle, Siti signaled that she was going after them and for Jishin to wait in the tall grasses.

Siti moved out through the grasses crouched down low, moving slowly closer to the unknowing gazelle. She picked one out of the bunch and as soon as she came close enough she pounced. The gazelle ran off zigzagging as the ran and Siti gave chase. Siti was herding the gazelle up toward some rocks she had seen before. Slightly confused as to which way to go, the gazelle hesitated and Siti made the killing blow.

The gazelle kicked about for a while as it slowly slipped off. Siti smiled as she released her kill and look down at it. Dinner was served. She called Jishin over to have her share and moved to tear into the rump of the gazelle.

Jishin started forward, but something caught her attention. Well, more of a scent which drew her another way then the food that Siti had caught. It was odd, why was she walking that way? Curiosity had gotten to her. She had to see what that smell was. It wasn't something she could eat, yet... what was it? Closer she got, she finally saw what was making the smell. It was a lion cub... Or what she thought was a lion cub. Bright colors, hard to miss. She didn't know how she didn't see it before.

"Siti, I found something." She said staring up at the cub on the rock. Not really sure what to do with it, even if she frightened it. She wasn't sure if it was female or male, she'd never been good at determining genders of cubs unless they were next to her. "I think it's a cub." She added in her call towards the lioness with the meal that Jishin should be eating right now. But this cub stopped her. She glared at the cub slightly. More of a look of displeasure that she followed her nose, then being angry at the small cub.

Udo'Tau stared foreward still he was thinking and didn't notice the scents around him. His mind was in so many places he was being slightly stupid and not paying attetion to his surrounding. But something did catch his attention, the faint sound of a voice.

He just about jumpped when he heard it, it caught him off gaurd, he didn't know that anyone was around. He looked around again before making a face, he picked up the scent then smiled softly with a soft face then ruffled the hair out of his eyes then made a face, then arched a small brow looking around.

Siti looked to Jishin, who was not far of from her, over by a large rock. 'A cub', she thought rather confused. A cub certainly should not be out alone, the sun was going to set soon and she knew their were danger in the night.

Siti moved her kill closer to some rocks to be out of the way and less visible. After checking around quickly to make sure no one was around to take the kill, she made her way over to Jishin, stopping beside her and looking up to see the cub.

"Hello there, what is your name?" Siti voice was soft and polite but certainly loud enough to be heard clearly. "Are you all alone little one?" The concern in her voice was obvious and she wanted nothing more than to simply now the cub was okay.

Jishin just rolled her eyes and stood up to walk near the kill. To make sure that it wouldn't get dragged away while the other was busy with the cub. She was not going to be the one to baby sit. She didn't know what to do. What if it puked on her... Or what if it started biting her feet. Pulling, tugging. Babies were bad. At least that's what she thought. She wasn't a mother, and wasn't at all like how she pictured most babies when she was younger.

But that didn't mean anything. She was far better then any baby could ever be. Or that was her view anyways. Though, who she thought was a baby, wasn't as young as she thought he was. Of course, she didn't want to get close enough to it to find out. What if it decided she was it's mother. Oh, no no no.... No cubs for her. Or at least not now.

Udo'Tau narrowed his eyes for a moment to get a better look at the coming lioness. He stiffened a bit. The thought of him being taken like his sister and never being able to find her again ran though his mind. He made a small face as he leaned back on his haunches as she walked over.

He looked down and then flicked his tail behind him, watching the older female closely. "My name is Udo'tau... Why?" He as a little rude with his words but he didn't want to put himself in danger, he raised his brows as he watched the other female walk away.

"Yes I am..." He awnsered a little more quietly. A little more in a cubbish tone, he didn't like the idea much that he was out on his own.
PostPosted: Sat Oct 25, 2008 10:43 am

"Thats a wonderful name," she said, although she was frowning and wondering why the cub was out all alone. "My name is Nabila Siti. I mean you know harm, I just want to make sure you are okay."

Siti sat in attempt to make herself less intimidating, "Why are you all alone, one as young as you should still be with your parents?"

Siti knew this was often not the case, as her mind wandered back to the cub she met a while back. Hadaya was most certainly all alone and even she herself, and Jishin as well had been alone at young ages.

Siti smiled up at the cub, "I bet you are hungry Udo'tau. Jishin," Siti motioned to the young female by the kill, "and I were just about to have some dinner. You are more than welcome to join us. There is plenty for three." Siti could feel her own stomache growl, she really did not want to leave the cub alone on the rock with night approaching. She knew even if she helped him find his family, she would not be able to do so until morning, she was simply to tired and hungry at the moment.

Jishin rolled her eyes still. Not really wanting to deal with any of this, but it'd be the price she would have to for things she had to learn. Or was it? She flicked her tail and yawned, about to lay down next to the kill. She wouldn't start eating though. Since she had not killed it. The other would get the first bite. It wasn't manners there, it was simply respect for the kill. Even a mother eats before her kids. Even before she brings them food, she eats.

Or that's what Jishin believed. She'd never truly know if that was true unless she herself had kids, or was around someone who had kids. Which seemed she might figure out sooner then she though. Seeing as her new companion was pregnant. She'd take no part in watching them. It was what she was to tell herself. Vile creatures, babies....
