"Well... I don't want to be a bother to Mama..." she said thoughtfully. Her tail swayed as she considered her options. She could either wait for someone else to help her down, or jump and attempt to glide the rest of the way. Now she knew how a cat felt when it was able to climb to the top of a tree, but never knew how to get back down. Scarlet glanced down at her brother who also seemed to be waiting for her decision. She closed her eyes and flexed her wings. If something were to happen to her, she felt safe knowing her family was nearby. Taking a deep breath, the angelic used her wings to push forward... but failed to release her grip on the branch. After a moment or so, Scarlet slowly opened her eyes to find the world had been flipped around. But upon further inspection, she found it was not the world that was upside down, but herself. The white angelic had not jumped off the branch, but merely swung herself around where she was now hanging by her small claws. The pale fur on her face darkened, realizing how ridiculous she must have looked to her sibling.

Ketsueki purred softly and rubbed his nose against her cheek affectionately. "I know it must have been hard for you to decide where to go after all you and your pups have been through," he murmured, "But I'm so relieved that you chose to stay."

Red eyes almost seemed to glow from within the bushes, watching the two pups at the tree. Red, bone-marked wings fluttered softly as he watched the white female try to fly from the branch, only to hang from it instead, to the dark male that rolled onto the ground laughing. A snort erupted from the sight of such fickle emotions that this other was watching, tail swaying softly behind.

Akira squeaked when his sister fell and he ran towards her, "Scarlet, Scarlet, are you alright?!" he asked, nudging and nuzzling her, trying to get her to stand back up, worry filling him.

Morgana curled her tail around Ketsu's tail, quite happy for that moment in time. If it was what she thought it meant, then she couldn't be happier. She blinked when he suddenly grew tense and she finally looked around. Worry quickly filled her as she stood up and padded around, "Akira....Scarlet?! Where are you?!" she called out, wanting her pups back in her sight now.

She could hear her brother calling her name now. He sounded worried. It pained her to hear him like that. Soon enough, Scarlet could hear her mother's voice join in as well. She dragged her paw from her head over her eyes. The blood had been from her halo after-all. Strange, considering her halo only dripped as something of an alert whenever someone was nearby. She ignored the steady patter of blood on her ear and sighed. The worst injuries were nothing more than a few bruises, as she doubted there were any broken bones. The pup's head felt like it was spinning. She waited until everything was still again. "I'll be fine... just ten more minutes..." she murmured softly, much like a child reluctant to wake up in the morning.

Ketsu stood still for a moment, his eyes were distant as his ears flicked from side to side. Finally he pin-pointed their location. "They went this way!" he exclaimed to Morgana. Sure that she was following his lead, he dashed toward were the pups had chased each other into the woods. Their scent was still fresh and he didn't have to follow the trail long before they came to the pups in question. The pups' scents were mingled together; fear, worry, confusion. Ketsu padded steadily over to Akira, making sure he was alright before turning to Scarlet. They both seemed alright, though Scarlet was somewhat out of it. Probably a minor concussion. "What happened?" he asked, keeping his voice leveled.

More of that useless emotion being shown. It was sort of making him sick. Just as he was about to turn and leave, the appearance of the two adults caught his attention. He watched as the white male showed up first, but quickly ignored him when he didn't find him familiar. Seeing the form of his mother show up soon after, he let out a soft hiss of interest, tail swishing behind him with a bit more 'force'.

Akira calmed down when Scarlet was put onto his mothers back and when it looked like neither of the large adults were mad at him. In fact, they seemed pretty happy that he stayed with her. He seemed to puff with pride when his Papa praised him and he leaned against him when he sat down, churring happily. He blinked as he watched him sniff the air and then turn his head towards some bushs not to far from them and then he looked as well, tilting his head curiously.

Morgana kept herself on all fours to keep Scarlet still and comfortable, at least until she could get her back to the den. She looked too her son and her....well, she would like to think mate, but she didn't want to assume. But she did smile when Akira seemed to burst with pride at being praised and she chuckled softly. But she went quiet when Ketsu seemed to smell someone near and she also looked to the bushs.

Scarlet gave her mother's metallic collar a curious lick before taking notice of how the others were looking intently at a certain bush. She peered from out behind Morgana, watching closely. After a moment or so of squinting her eyes, the white pup was about to question what the group had been staring at, when someone stepped from the undergrowth. Scarlet's eyes widened dramatically as the familiar form came into focus before the quartet. He was like a little clone of his mother. The white angelic finally noticed the unnerving steady drips of blood that rolled down her maw. She turned her halo at an angle so the blood would cease to drip onto her head and shakily began to clean the thick liquid from her face. She was feeling dizzy again. "M-mikhail...?" He looked a bit different. Scarlet wanted to make sure it was truly her baby brother that stood before them and not just some cruel trick being played on her head.

Ketsu felt tense for a moment, sitting quite protectively near Morgana and her pups as a rustling sound accompanied the scent. Judging by the foot-falls of the otter that approached, it was no bigger than Akira. The elder relaxed a bit as Scarlet seemed to recoginize the otter. There was no fear in her voice, only confusion. "I was begining to wonder if there was a different scent on the wind..." he murmured. But it had been somewhat difficult before to extract the male's scent; it was nearly that of his brother and sister's. Giving his wrist one final twist to make sure the bones were in place, Ketsueki tilted his head curiously. He didn't want to seem rude or unwelcoming, but for an otter who had found his family after being kidnapped, why had Mikhail been trying to remain undetected?
