Nodding his head, Brad offered another small smile. "Yes, that's been finished and submitted. Building wont start for another month probably, but my end is done unless they need me to supervise." He tilted his head thoughtfully, one finger drawing over the heated cup in his hands, "If anything, I think my next piece might have some Korean influence." He arched a brow and looked at her coyly from the corner of his eyes, a hint of a more earnest smile tugging at his lips.
Hae-min never failed to hit the nail on the head, and he gave a short start of laughter. "I don't want to put any stress on you," he started, carefully putting his own tea down so he could better fix his attentions upon her. It was harder to take someone seriously when holding such a dainty piece of dishes. "You're not worrying me, persay, but I am worried for you. You look great and you seem to be well...but I still worry." His broad shoulders hunched a little, as if from a reprimand, "I can't help it. It's what I do when I care."
Another small smile. He felt out of his element, as though he was still missing something important, but he would not shy away from the woman and her plight. If anything, he wanted to be there more so, but he could only offer so much when he knew so little.

"I'm glad," she said, smiling and blushing at his next comment. Distractions were excellent, they made it possible for her to hold still. She reached out and set one hand on his shoulder. "You're a good friend, but I wish you wouldn't worry. That could make you sick, ne?" Sooner than she wanted to, she turned her gaze back to the tea in her cup.
Still, restless energy with no where to go brought her to her feet and started to pace from one end of the room to the other. She paused by her desk and rolled up the papers on it, then crossed to the other side of the room. With a nervous sigh, she grabbed a stack of books and brought them to a shelf to begin putting them away. "I'm not stressed," she murmured as she slid copies of Philosophie Occultae and Eastern Horticulture into their places. "I just..." Well, he could see for himself that she couldn't bring herself to sit still.

He continued to watch. Heart sore, he politely finished his tea and stood, moving over to and behind Hae-min. Calloused hands gently lit on her elbows, bidding her to pause, his voice deep but kind near her ear. "I see that now. I'll take my leave then, as my presence is no doubt being an extra agitation."
His thumbs lightly drew over the silk of her hanbok, his smile almost sad. She was so restless! Whether it was from her 'power' or if her day was bad, he'd have no way of knowing. The best he could do for her in that moment was to give her time to herself again. "I'm happy to see you, but it's a bad time. I'll come back later, and I'll call you first."

She shuddered at his touch, hands tightening on the volumes she held. Why was it affecting her so quickly? It never had before, but then, she'd never had to go back after such a short interval. And she had been practicing for a good six hours... What he said was true, though, she couldn't downright lie to him. "It's not your fault," she said, and that was true, just like the thoughtless addition: "It's mine." Hae-min let go of her books, turned and hugged him tightly for as long as she could stand the feel of cloth on her bare arms. Then she returned to channeling that energy into cleaning the room- her stack was almost completely gone, and it had been an impressive pile of books.
