"Form up! We'll make them pay for every last inch!"
Azzuldanamardrik's voice was ragged, yet still blazing in celestial intensity. His last few companions obeyed, planting armored boots against the blood-slick ship deck. From down the dark, narrow passageway, an unspeakable song drifted: a mindless frenzy of flutes and drums, dancing in godless, idiot symphony. The mortals among them wept at the manic tune, some sinking to the ground, others screaming in hopelessness and clawing away their offending ears.
Azzuldanamardrik tried to bring encouraging words to his lips, but they died in his throat as a frothing, viscous entity began to stir in the darkness. He held his blade close to his body, and traded glances with the angels that stood beside him, waiting to die. He wanted to say something grand and meaningful, now that they stood here at the precipice, at the end. Something about the spirit of Man, something eternal. But there were no words for this, no hope he could give. He had seen God himself gutted before his eyes. Good had lost.
All that was left was a sick black rage. Azzuldanamardrik flung himself forward, sword aloft, screaming in hopeless defiance. The seething thing in the black mist recoiled before his biblical fury. Fire and wrath rained from his fists, and for a moment he felt whole again. But then the creature crashed down on him, a thunderous wave of clawing tendrils and gibbering maws. Darkness fell. And Azzuldanamardrik fell into it, embracing the void that had snapped at his heels so long.

((When everyone comes to, he/she will be on some sort of comfortable plain bed alone. The room is big, and a note will be on the table next to the bed directing you to the dining room. The settings seem to all be plain but warming. Somehow, your weapons, even if you didn't have it with you when you fell into darkness, are against the wall.))

Hope slowly returned to consciousness. She put her hand to her forehead and eyes. What…what happened? Her eyes jerked open a second later when she realized she was on a bed and not a forest floor. Dirth!! Ahh, there he was, against the wall along with her other gear.
Now that her sword had been accounted for she could examine the room. The furnishings were plain but well made. Comfortable, the room reminded her of her parent’s house. She must have passed out, and the villagers brought her back. From her surroundings, she must be in the headman’s house. Now, why would she pass out? She hadn't been sick lately. Oh well, she felt fine now.
She got up and started to buckle on her utility belt and noticed a note on the bedside table. Directions to the dining room? The headman’s house was large but not this large! Now, burning with curiosity, she hurried on the rest of her gear and left the room with her directions in hand.

Jonathan felt himself falling even after his vision blacked out. He felt drowsy, as if he hadn't slept in days. He lost his awareness, all the while the feelings of falling and drowsiness following him.
'Is this how it's like........before you die......never expected......this.....'
Then within a split second, he felt himself hit the ground, no not the ground, this was much softer. 'Softer?' Jonathan gained his awareness and light flooded his vision. He could see everything. He himself was laying on a bed, sitting up after it set in.
"This is a pretty plain room, still better than being splatted all over the floor." He said as he examined the room. "Where am I?" He noted some weapons against the wall to the right of the door. To the left of the door a counter top with what looked like a note on it.
He examined the weapons from the bed. An M-16 Assult L-Rifle with a couple of attachments on it. The weapon next it was small HF-Pistol with a laser sight inside a holster. Both of these weapons, excluding the various attachments, were standard issued weapons. "My favorate....." Also next to the weapons was a small sheild generator, powered by Jonathan's inner energies. Jonathan stood from the bed and walked to weapons. He picked up the rifle, straping it around him and afterwords picked the pistol up and straped the holster around him, and cliped the generator to his left pocket.
Jonathan then walked to the counter and read the note. 'Directions?' He comited them to memory then he unholsterd the pistol and check to make sure it was charged. After that was checked he went to the door and placed his right hand on the doorknob.

Jade's eyes fluttered open as woke up. She didn't recognize any of her surroundings. She bolted up. The performer was on a plain bed in a plainly furnished room. In the corner next to the only door out of the room were her weapons, a spear and her bow and arrows. She looked around. Next to the bed was a table with a note on it with directions to the dining room.
"Where is this?" she asked softly to no one in particular. It definitely wasn't Alek's mansion. The lord's mansion was pretty lavish, and no room ever looked this plain, even the room that held her brother Er's secret lab.
Not knowing what to do, Jade strapped the bow and quiver to her back and picked up the spear to use as a walking stick and headed out of the room into the hallways. At least, the note was in a language she could understand.
((We can have some of our characters meet in the hallway!))

Jonathan tightly clenched the doorknob with his right hand, keeping the HF pistol at the ready pointed at the door as he did. He stoped, and looked at his right hand. He couldn't feel the metal of the doorknob, but of course that would make sence since his hand WAS metal itself. Pushing that though out of his mind, he twisted the door knob and opened it.
Almost as soon as he did he quickly steped out returning his right hand to his grip on the HF pistol. He quickly scaned the hallway to the right of the door, nothing. then in a seconds notice he scaned the otherside of the hallway.
That's when he noticed a female (Hope) walking away from him. "FREEZE!" Jonathan commanded as he aimed at her. "Drop you weapons and don't try anything stupid. I got a few questions i need to ask....." Jonathan knew that he was jumping the gun by assuming that this person was a hostile. '......but it's better safe than sorry......'

As Hope headed down the corridor she heard a man's voice behind her yell "Freeze!" She had no idea what he meant by that, but she sure understood him when he added "Drop your weapons"!
Hope whirled around with her hand behind her head on Dirth's hilt. But then her jaw dropped in amazement. Never before had she seen such outlandish clothes. And she had traveled the world.
While stern at the moment, the man had a nice face that Hope would have said looked honest except he seemed a little crazy. He was holding a bizarre metal thing that seemed to be his weapon. Hope could not tell if it was meant to be some kind of fancy stick or club. Either way, he was holding it all wrong. But he seemed to think that she should be afraid of it.
Hope decided that she should probably try to calm him down before he hurt himself. Slowly she removed her hand from her sword. “Hello”, she said in as calm and reassuring a manner as she could. “ I’m Hope. Are you from around here? I’m new here and I really don’t know were here is, but I’m trying to find the dining room. Do you know were that is? Maybe you can show me? I have a note.”

Jonathan would have fire at Hope had she drew a weapon that even remotely looked like a fire arm, but he had noticed that her hand retracted to her sword's handle and kept his iching trigger finger at bay.
Seeing her jaw drop he tilted his head to the side a little and raised an eyebrow. His head returned to it's original position after a second or two. 'What's she staring at?'
Jonathan never once removed his aim. 'Nice to know people can listen.' He thought as he saw her remove her hand from the Claymore's handle. Come to think of it, since when were swords still in use in combat? 'Her clothes are a little odd too.........probaly from one of those small band of hunters....'
Then he heard her greeting, and this just completely blew him out of the water, though he didn't show it and kept his aim steady. Just what was going on here?
Jonathan let out a sigh when he heard the rest of what she had to say, and lowerd his aim. He still kept his pistol in both hands though. "So you don't know either huh?" He removed his right, metal hand from the grip on his pistol and rubbed the back of his neck. The cold metal meeting the soft skin. "At least i'm not the only one." He kept the pistol in his left hand though, still not risking the possiblity of a sudden attack.
"I wish I could could answer those questions, but i don't even know them myself."

As the man relaxed, and explained that he didn’t know were ‘here’ was either, her disappointment at not finding answers was palpable. Instead she found more questions! She could see that the man was not crazy. His stance and voice suggested that she was in no immediate danger from him, though he was obviously still cautious. That being the case, she decided she had better respect his weapon, until she knew more about it. Furthermore, she had noticed his metal hand. Hope knew that this was just not possible. Therefor, his weapon could be something totally outside her scope of understanding as well.
She needed more information. Definitely. If she didn’t get this laid out at least semi-logically she was going to have sensory overload. She looked him in the eye. Partly to him, but also to reassure herself she said, “I am a hunter. I was in the forest. I think I passed out. I awoke here. OK, so you don’t know were ‘here’ is either. I’m assuming you also don’t know if I’m in any danger, if whoever is behind this is hostile, or what their motives might be.
On the side, I would really like to know who you are, where you came from, how on earth you’ve got a metal hand, and all about that strange weapon of yours. But, under the circumstances, I think I’d rather explore the first questions. Now.”
Hope slowly but deliberately turned her back to him saying as she did so, “I am headed to the dining room. Where I hope to get some answers.”

"Jeez my talent is wasted on these things," Cyler said as he drew his sword from the corpse of a be-headed shredder. "I wish just once something exciting would happen in my life." After he said this Cyler started marching through the forest and realized that no matter how far he walked towards his home he never seemed to get anywhere. "What is gonna happen now," Cyler said out of shear annoyance. "Well isn’t this interesting." He was staring at a black portal one that seemed endless. "Well I know I’ve never seen this before." He started to examine the portal. "Well this is better then eating Tach meat in my lonely makeshift shelter." He sighed as he walked into the portal. It was just as he expected dark and seemingly endless. "Where am i was all that went through his head.
After about five minutes of floating in the bleak emptiness he fell into a room with a single bed and an end table. The room was lit with a small lamp on the end table. "Hmmm...cozy, a guy could get used to this...if he didn’t already live like this before." His eye was caught by something on the end table, a piece of paper that had a map on the inside. "Doesn’t say who its for might as well go see what happening." He made his way out of the room and in the direction the map pointed him. As he neared the room marked with a big red X he ran into a woman who had the same look about her as he did, a hunter and a loner (hope). "Hi my name is Cyler Valentine pleased to meet you." He introduced himself and waited for her response.

Huh? Jade could hear voices around the corner. Maybe they knew more about what was going on. She peeked out from the edge, a little bit too clearly to the others if they were looking in her direction. Jade had a puzzled look on her face. Er, the directions said to turn left here, I think! That's where those people are...
There were three people, and they looked suspicious. One had one eye, the other eye completely covered by a mound of black hair. One had some strange fluffy black jacket, and the other was female, by the look of her hair, yet she looked strong unlike Jade's slim figure.

"We have company." CYler turned and looked at the new woman standing at the corner. "Well i dont seem to sense any hostile emotions coming off of you." He pointed to his nose and said, "My species can smell that easily...any who let's get these introductions started shall we." He bowed and removed his hat in a gentelmanlly fashion. "My name is Cyler Valentine pleased to meet you."

Jade's eyebrow twitched as she stepped out into full view, her spear in her hand to stabilize her steps. Smell?!!! Species? Is this guy not human? she thought. Whatever he was, he certainly had manners unlike some of her friends... Unfortunately, she wasn't really into the lady thing, but she'd have to do it now since it was just a strange situation and a courtesy.
"Er, hi, Sir Valentine and all. My name is Jade Delacroix. Pleasure to meet you." She curtsied, though her skirt and spear would keep it from being a dramatic action. She looked at the other two and waited for a response and inwardly scoffed to herself as she noted that she was the shortest of the four.

"Hmmm I smell confusion on you no doubt about me and the others well to start im a Lycan a half wolf half man some call me a werewolf." Cyler looks at the other two. "I have no idea who they are. You came around the corner a little while after I introduced myself... oh and by the way you don’t need to be so formal." He chuckles at the fact she’s still in a curtsy position. "Hehehe...let me just say im formal cause that’s how i am no need to pretend to be something your not so let the real Jade Delacriox show herself." He waits for a second and says, "By the way...again... none of that "Sir Valentine stuff" its just Cyler to my friends."

Hope looked at the tall dark man and the small lithe woman. Her earlier determination had melted. She was again showing complete astonishment on her face. Lycan? Half wolf? ‘That does it!’ she thought to herself. ‘I’m getting an apprentice!’
Her patience was starting to wear thin. If these two couldn’t help her she did not feel the need to waste time here. Directing her words to the newcomers she said, ”Do either of you know where we are, how I got here, or why I’ve been brought here?”
