"Honesty is the best medicine, least some would say." Juubi spoke still with laughter in his voice. He then tilted his head to the side as if in thought as he looked at her but not. When he meet her eyes again he frowned. "You shouldn't blush so much."
He took a step back and sat down picking up his easel again. "So, what are you doing out here?"

Gracie gave a faint smile at hie comment. "Of course it is, even if being honest hurts sometimes, it's better then always telling lies." When Juubi comments about how she blushes so much she only smiles. "Oh why would that be?" she asks tilting her head to the side, and watching as he picks up his easel sitting down again.
Gracie sighs taking a seat across from Juubi, and begins to play with the bracelet on her wrist, trying to think of how to answer his question. "The house was just much to crowded and I didn't really feel like hanging around with my brother and sisters, My dad was watching us and he was getting all mad about well this." she says pointing to her pink hair. "And he was talking about how I shouldn't hang around with you because you'll only get me into trouble."
Gracie pauses and sighs. "Honestly I think that he's just being paranoid and over protective. I mean how long does he expect me to be a kid?" She sighs again before looking at Juubi or rather tried to over the easel. "How about you why are you here?"

Juubi glanced at her as he made sure the painting was okay. "Because, your face wouldn't look nice in a permanent blush." He nodded before picking up his brush and cleaning it.
At her words of her father's reaction to her pink hair, a positively smug smile crossed his face. After all, he wasn't as sweet as he seemed. He wondered what all trouble her father thought he could get her in, but shrugged it off after a moment.
As he started to pick a new color and start painting again, he tilted his ear to her to listen. Glancing at her around the easel once more he shrugged and started work. "I wanted a nice place to paint."

Gracie smiles, "And what is that suppose to mean?" she asks tilting her head to the side. " Wait are you painting a picture of me?" smiles sweetly and tries not to blush if he is in fact painting her.
Gracie nods at his response to her previous question. "Well that makes perfect for with out a good place to paint, it would be as fun and you wouldn't be as inspired." she smiles slightly before she beings to play with her hair nervously waiting to see if it is in fact her that he is painting.

Unfortunately Juubi wasn't painting a picture of her. Though he had tried a few times, but he thought they all failed to capture her beauty. That and all of them always had her with the wrong shade of hair. Sometimes it was blue, pink, and once rainbow. It tweaked his artistic nerve. He wanted her as she was but for the life of him he couldn't remember her actual hair color.
Glancing back at her, he paused in his painting. "As lovely as you are, this..." He gestured to the skyline which was positively breathtaking, "..is what I am working on." Juubi let a smirk cross his face. "Of course I am tweaking it a little." By tweaking he meant that while keeping it it's lovely splendor, he was also showing what normal people didn't see. That beautiful sights often held traces of death.

((Gracie finally got older... GracieGracie smiled and nodded examining his picture closely hoping that he wouldn't notice that she was blushing at his comment of her being pretty. "I Love it it's very beautiful." she purred as she put both hands on his shoulders. Now that she was older she was beginning to realize that she liked him quite a lot. Possilbly even more then a friend. "So I've been thinking and I was wonding, would you like to paint a picture of me. I would model and it's okay if you don't want to." she blurted, as she looked down at her feet her tail twitching back and forth in her nevousness.
For a while now she had been wondering if he might feel the same way she did. She wanted to ask him but she was nervous partly because he was at least a few years older then her. She really hated not knowing but she didn't know if she had the guts to ask him. She took a deep breath and then opened her mouth to ask. "Jubbi, what do you of me." After she said it she clasped her hands over her mouth horrifed that she had asked.

(I saw! She's so pretty~)
Juubi's paint brush almost slipped across his canvas. Of course he liked her! He'd liked her since they'd met. That was, however, a different type of like then what she was referring to now. The type of like that more often led to love then not. He sighed softly and set his stuff down carefully so that he could turn and face her.
Slowly he spoke. "If I were to tell you I liked you, you would take that a just friends or as maybe something more." He reached out to gently touch her arm. "You inspire me Gracie, and I do like you." A smile crossed his face. "And I'd love to paint you whether it be onto canvas or it be onto your body if you'd let me." He looked up at the sky before adding softly. "And I wouldn't mind us being more then friends."

(Um... Sorry for making you wait so very very long... I have been very busy during this new year and haven't had a lot of time to check back in a lot.)
"Oh.." Gracie could feel her self blushing deeply, she was at a very big loss of words. She had no idea how she might respond to such beautiful words. When she finally mangaged to get her head wrapped around his words she smile. "You can paint me which ever way you want on canvas or my body..." she said shyly looking away not wanting to give the wrong answer or seem like she was to eger to please him, even though that is how she had always been. Finally she said what she had wanted to say since he told her he liked her. "I would like that very much... to be more than your friend that is." she spoke quitely afraid of ruining such a beautiful moment.
