Ripuka dipped her head to avoid eye contact. It was probably obvious that something had been wrong. However, Azarax's heritage would probably remain secret from the traditionalists forever. She was too afraid of judgement, too afraid of what his odd pelt might mean.
"We shall prevail." Ripuka replied, though her voice sounded a little tense.
Then, seemingly thankful that Makaa was bringing the audience to a close she took another step back and bowed her grizzled head.
"Thank you, My Queen, you have made an old fool happy this day." She took another step back, then, with another nod she turned away.

Indeed, it was obvious something had gone wrong, but the queen decided that whenever Ripuka was ready, she'd tell her herself, "Indeed," a small tilt of her head was offered to both lions before she turned to leave, this time moving towards a diferent den, no doubt to find her sister or perhaps Zap; eatting sounded like a good idea, and a hunt to stretch out her sleep-fogged muscles sounded even better. She stopped only momentarily, her head turning to regard Maaka and Ripuka, "You are no fool, Ripuka... the only fools are those unable to lift a paw to achieve what they want, for fear of lossing what they have," and that said, she slipped away.
