Mercuryangel Well....the only very active Warders are Lathanam, Hawk, and Wolf. Maybe we should ask them, seeing as it would be under their power? Yes, the arches are a good idea. If you haven't read New Spring and we go through with the testing, I'll post a description of the testing to become Aes Sedai. Hey! I heard my name! What say you? is there some semblance of a foul beast that needs slaying? Perchance a furriosheeoose DRAGON! eek GAA! A DRAGON!! But really, what?

YAY! *Ahem* I think there should be more RP to the test, because people like myself, who haven't been through ten chapters in the FIRST book, may not know EVERYTHING about WoT. The Guild's little home-thingy said that you didn't have to know everything, so I think it should be as such. I have just survived in this guild with my hunny bunny (Alena) giving me snippits along the way to enhance my RP. How many of you could honestly tell that I have no clue what you're talking about sometimes? It seems not too terribly many of you, because you talk to me anyway and do not disown me! (Thankies so much!) So, yes, I think the RP should be a major part of it. ^^Huh, that's just a little bit...-_-'...^^

Some things you do that aren't necessarily perfectly in sync with the Power, but then your character's race makes up for it. I personally have read all 10 of the series so far and am currently reading New Spring, so I could help you out too if Alena isn't around or something if you like.
But yeah, I like the RP idea, especially since the Warder Test wouldn't have anything to do with weaving anyway, and as far as I know, there is no documentation of any such test in the books.

Lathanam, I couldn't tell. The RP idea seems to be best. Is that ok with everyone? If it is, the next question is how we organize it.

Perhaps we have them RP a match between the Warder and themselves, the Warder-in-Training, and if it is up to par, we let them advance, if not, then the Warder will RP back his beating them down. HA! That's violent...I LOVE IT! This is of course if we base the advancement on RP abilities. 3nodding

Sounds like a good plan though. Twould be a reason to REALLY strive to improve as well, least you get beaten down and publicly humiliated.

Okay, I am doing this for Lathanam because he couldn't stay on long tonight.
He wants to know if he can be the one to administer the warder-in-trainings their test to become warders. If so he wants to know if there will be a separate thread or not.

As a Warder-in-training I love the idea. He is online often, so even if the trainee isn't in the same timezone they can have a daily post back and forth. And of course, the more important, he RP's very well, and with good grammar. I say why not. I was actually about to post asking about this since my character is ready to take the "test", probably within a day or two RP time.

Heheh, regarding Mercury's post, he is right Merc, the other warders aren't on that often. I'm on about every day and I love to write, so it seems only logical. 3nodding I also thought it would be cool if I get this little title, say...Master or Warders-in-Training, or something os the like, I could perhaps also take up the position of Sword Master. I dunno, RPing with an actual person rather than one's self, it'ed be cool to have a Sword Master around. I was also wondering if I get this thing going, the testing that is, if I could make a thread for it. There, people would read the guidelines for advancement and they could RP requests, perhaps I can take up office in Alena's coat closet? xd But yea, I asked you because you are on more often than anyone in the guild, and I thought you would be the one to ask (hence the asking). 3nodding

Being the one to test Warders-in-Training is fine by me. Does anyone else have a problem with it? If it's ok by the other mods, go ahead. In regards to the title, have fun with it. Merc's creativity is running on zero...so you get to make up your own. As for the thing about becoming SwordMaster...yeah...that's up to COTM and the other guys mostly. Once again, one mod can't decide it all. Otherwise, this would be a dictatorship! sweatdrop

Well, so long as it's okay with the other brass, which I shall be seeing to, I would love to start testing soon! Now, the only things I need are a sighn for my office door, reading 'Master of Warders-in-Training' (If anyone has a better name for the WiT part, please feel free to tell me! sweatdrop ) and I have to take the dimensions of Alena's broom closet.... biggrin Hey Mercury, pending the others' approval, should I make a thread for this? You know, so that it's not another mess that goes into the main RP? There is quite a bit going on there and I think it'ed be just a tad bit difficult to keep an eye on the testing sometimes...and also, never mind about the SM thing, I'm just happy that this is going somewhere! Once again, YAY!!!
