Lucía looks at Chath and Ligeia surprised, their parents don't have given them the "talk" wow. Wait this meand that she going to hear the "talk" again. She hide her head amog her arms is despair. Then look at Agela.
"I know it my mother give me the "talk" and about bee and bee and bird and bird too" she blushed " she said "just in case never you known" very embarasing if you ask me"

Paxton made a little, "Darn" and snap in Angela's direction, he wasn't expecting or hoping for anything, rather he expected her to brush him off. There had to be one brave kid in class right? "I've heard things," he mumbled, raising his hand. Well, he had more than just 'heard' about things, but he wasn't about to give anything. Anyways, Paxton at one point had been given the talk, and he knew the basics, he knew about protection and birth control. Perhaps he wasn't so knowledgeable bout female anatomy, but frankly, he really didn't want to know. Hopefully Angela would just drag Lucia off to the side, so he didn't have to hear it.

Angela gave Paxton a small, amused smile, then took note of each of their responses to her question. There was a wide variety and vagueness in most of those responses, and she took a moment to think of how to complete this section.
"We'll start with puberty, then," she said, and fully expected a chorus of groans. However, she was already passing out labeled diagrams of the male and female reproductive organs, speaking as she did so.
"There are many changes that occur in a person during puberty, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally," she said, and ticked off points on her fingers.
"In girls, the most obvious body changes are the widening of the hips and the development of the breasts, as well as getting taller. Underarm and pubic hair also starts growing, and of course, girls start getting their monthly period," she said, and switched to the other hand.
"In boys, the physical changes include getting taller and more muscular, the voice deepens, the p***s grows, nocturnal emissions can occur, and hair grows in the underarm and pubic areas."
Angela paused for a moment, and looked around for questions. She had a sneaking suspicion if she didn't encourage questions, she may as well be lecturing to an empty classroom.

Chath looked a bit confused, did..this mean he hasn't hit puberty? The only hair he really had was on his head...his skin...was somewhat slick and rubbery. He went to open his mouth and then swallowed a bit.
Raising his hand he stared down at his desk unable to really meet anyone's gaze. "Um...do...all..boys go through that?" He asked his face going red at the question.
"Cause...uh..only hair I have is on my head..." He murmured his hand slipping down to touch the spray bottle at his side. It was the truth...he was slick and smooth..he didn't have to worry about shaving it looked like, and his hair on his head never grew very long.

Ligeia listened closely then couldn't help but give a bit of a pout, "I think it skipped by me... I didn't get really get tall or muscular at all ." He said, in fact the only way he reached five feet was when he wore what he called his 'good shoes'. On top of that he was rather light weight and thinly built... yeah, puberty must have missed him on its list of people to hit and moved onto the next guy the owl thought to himself.
"I guess my legs kind of got more fluffy as I grew... though they are covered in feathers, not hair..." Maybe puberty affected them differently since they were part animal he thought to himself.

Angela mentally smacked herself, though her smile barely flickered. She'd forgotten to take the animal halves into account when she blithely listed off points! No need to give her students complexes just because she had had a "moment."
"I should have mentioned this before I stopped... There will be differences in D-corp children because of additional DNA involved. Unfortunately... the experience will generally be different for each child because, for the most part, each child has new DNA involved," she said, shaking her head gently.
"So, Chath, to answer your question, the boys here may go through some, all, or none of those things, and the only way to know which ones you'll go through is to experience it. Since you have some newt DNA, it is perfectly natural for you to not grow the extra hair. And some would consider that a blessing," she said with a roll of her eyes. She wouldn't mention it aloud, but her own husband was rather hirsute and constantly thought it was great fun to poke her with his beard.
She listened to Ligeia's concerns, and nodded, "I think that's a good indicator for you, Ligeia, with your owl side. Also, I think the most telling signs for any of you would be the more emotional components, which I was coming to in a moment," she continued, but waited for any more comments.

Chath felt a bit releaved and yet confused, well at least ...he wasn't suppose to be getting a lot of hair. He supposed that was a good thing. It would create quite a bit of drag in the water. He raised his hand again and waited a moment before asking his question.
"Uh...do you...know what...I should expect? With...my DNA? I...mean I've noticed ...my skin color has changed...I use...to be bright orange..." He asked looking down at his browner skin. "And..,my red spots have...slowly been going away. Will they go away for good?" he continued.

Paxton couldn't tell if he took pleasure or unease in knowing each of his classmates strange yet unique biological traits. Yes he had noticed changes, but that stuff just wasn't information that needed to be shared. He had been surprised about some of them, but shrugged most of them off. In the end his feathers remained the same color, he grew as he thought he should, there weren't any big twists or surprises. Most of it was just...annoying. Which was why he added, when Cath asked about his spots. "More importantly, when is this all supposed to be over?" Puberty and in general hormones, parent troubles, sexual drive, the usual. It was really quite a bore, or more like a roller coaster he wanted off at. Either way, it was something to be done with.

Lucía could not believe all that they are speaking, because she has to know the changes that have the boys, enough has her with hers. She hopes she doesn't have to say hers changes before all them , "My puberty fine thanks for ask" She says and hides her head among her arms and she tries not to hear anything embarrassing more.
Then she listens Paxton as if he was the voice of the reason among all this madness of changes "Yeas when it is over ".

Angela smiled at Chath. He was clearly trying to put a good face on this class. She thought for a moment.
"From what I know, you'll keep your spots, Chath. But, other than that, I think the only thing else you can expect is that you'll need to keep that spray bottle at hand, maybe more often than you do now. But that's just a possibility," she said, quick to caution.
Then she turned to Paxton, and nodded to him, and to Lucia as well.
"Some people start and finish earlier, and some start and finish later, but generally humans are done physically around fifteen to seventeen, and all the emotional changes should be done around twenty years of age," she said, then added, "of course, other animals than humans generally mature much more quickly, so that could affect all of you."

Chath repressed a groan. He would need his water bottle even more than he did now? Great...who would want to go near a slimey skinned person? His face went pink as his looked to Ligeia a moment.
"I'll keep that in mind.." He murmured his hand already trailing down to confirm his water bottle was still attached to his hip. He then looked to Lucia and Paxton, both who didnt seem nearly as thrilled to be here than Chath did.
Of course both of them had made some comments in the class but other than that nothing very useful. He liked learning things but this subject was just...embarrassing. He wished he could ask the woman some questions... in private cause there had been a couple things on his mind that had been bothering him.
"Um...I have a question...but can I ask you in private?" he inquired his face going more pink.

Angela tilted her head to consider for a brief moment, then nodded.
"Of course, Chath. Would you like to wait until after class?" she asked, and glanced up at the clock. They'd used about a quarter of the time alloted, so they were well on schedule.

Paxton tried to keep a strait face as Chath got the courage to work up that one little question. Can I ask you in private, well oh-la-la, someone was getting deep down and personal. It made Paxton wonder a little bit just what Chath was going to ask...hmn, his eyes darted down to his notebook, too bad it was rude to ask. All right, now what? He looked up at the teacher as if to say, 'So moving on?'. He wasn't in charge here, so he couldn't really ask it...but hopefully Angela would take it with a grain of salt.

Lucía looks to her surroundings and note that the class is quite silent apart from Chath, so with a mischievous smile she decides to ask something. She start to giggle and aks " I'm the only girl but can you explain the menstruation cycle and the pregnancy, please" she had decided that since she has to be here for that not to have a good time with the face that the boys go to make when their hear it.

Angela nodded, and said, "Of course. It's a very important subject. When a girl reaches a certain point in her puberty, which can happen at different times for different girls, one of the things that occurs is the beginning of the monthly menstruation cycle," Angela started, and held up one of the sheets she'd passed out earlier.
"This is a diagram of the female reproductive system. The parts are all labeled..." she began, and proceeded to describe the workings of the female plumbing, as well as how each part's role in the cycle, as well as pregnancy.
"If the egg isn't fertilized, then the body sheds the lining of the uterus, and begins the cycle anew. However, if the egg is fertilized, then it implants itself in the lining, and begins to go through cellular division, the very beginnings of a fetus!" she said, smiling. It was a very incredible thing, and one that was so taken for granted, especially by young people.
She went on to explain, in brief, the stages of the fetus, and some of the problems that can occur in pregnancies.
"Which is why it is so important that anyone who is pregnant should go to the doctor for regular checkups," she said, looking around at the teens.
This is a good time to segue into contraceptives, I think, after any questions are answered, she thought to herself.
