Kay grinned to himself. 'It's not hiding, it's stealth.' He wanted to say that, but he saw at the last minute that the black female was closer than he had thought. He thought he could slip past her, and yelped when she lunged. But she had lunged just a tiny bit far and ahead, and he scooted underneath between her legs. He reached out and tried to claw at one of the legs as he passed through and onward after the puppies. 'How did she know I was there?' He asked himself irritably, with a touch of fear.
He looked back, hearing the other female gaining on him as well. Not good...

Lethe was clawed on one of her back legs. She snarled and turned around snapping at the air. She hoped she got that little brat. She then used her ability to show Mnemosyne what she was seeing right now. This way her twin would know just about where the kid is.
Mnemosyne looked at the image Lethe showed her with their unique link. So the kid was around there. She sped up and reached her twin. She then darted forward to cut him off. "You really want to get to the base that badly?" She said, "You should know you're better off playing with us rather than Agrona and her kids. They'll do more than play nicely."

Agrona walked out of the hole and smiled at Katsuo. "Good job. I figured you could do it." She said looking at the two pups, "Just set them down in there. Mikey and Caderyn will watch them." She stayed outside looking out into the dead trees. The rest of her army should be arriving soon.
Katsuo nodded and walked down into the hole. He stopped when he saw Agrona's sons. He set the two princesses down and walked back outside. "Can I leave now?" He asked nervously.

Kay grinned triumphantly. He had gotten a hit on the bad lady! He jumped when he felt something catch at his tail, but it was a small knick and he was able to yank free, biting back a pained whine. He was starting to feel his ability use again, so he dodged deep into a thick brush of ferns and dropped the ability to rest a moment. But they seemed to be able to find him so quickly... He couldn't sit there for long. He kept his ears perked, listening for where they were. It sounded like he was between the two females now...
**at the cave**
She heard voices... distant voices... Who was that? Daddy? Momma? Igraine shook her head slowly when she was set on something hard. "Daddy?" She muttered softly, blinking and trying to see straight. It was cold here... She didn't like it. Was that her sister? She snuggled against the warm body of Sandria until the affects of the sleep fully left her.

Mnemosyne sniffed the air and grinned. She then used her ability to show Lethe the brush where the pup had gone into. He's there. She thought. She grinned at her twin and stayed in the light where the pup could see her if he looked. She made a point to look confused as if she had lost his trail.
Lethe got Mnemosyne's picture and nodded. She knew the plan. She silently slipped into the shadows and circled around the pup. Now she was behind him and could easily sneak up on him. Then she'd catch him and playtime would start. She grinned as she spotted his resting. Looks like his little trick tired him. She crouched down before leaping onto him.

Agrona looked at Katsuo and shook her head. "No. You're here until they get here for the princesses." She said narrowing her eyes, "You're in this too." She smiled as Kastuo nodded and wandered off to lay in the shade of a bush.
Mikey noticed one of the pups was waking up and muttered the word daddy. He scoffed at that. "Like your daddy even cares about you." He muttered looking away.
Caderyn laughed. "Aw. Look! She thinks you're her daddy Mike." He said meanly, "How disgusting."

Kay smiled to himself. She looked confused! All he had to do now was- where was the black female? He frowned and heard something behind him. He didn't have any time to react before he was jumped on and he let out a loud yelp. How did they get him?! But that didn't matter now. They had him... and he new that meant something very bad.

Igraine shook her head again, snuggling closer to her sister. Those voices... sounded mean. Where was she? She looked in confusion at the two males nearest her, still blinking her eyes. "Who... are you?" She asked lazily.

Lethe grinned as she landed on Kay. "Got cha!" She said. She then grabbed him by his neck and carried him to Mnemosyne. She set him down but made sure he had no room to escape. "Let's play dear sister." She said, "I wonder if his heart is any good." With that she whipped a paw out scratching him across the chest.
"Good job." Mnemosyne said looking at the kid, "It's playtime little boy. We better make sure that you aren't able to get away." She then moved closer and bit his leg. She made sure to bite it hard enough that it would be really really painful to walk on.

Mikey stared at Caderyn. "Not funny bro." He said looking down at the pup, "Doesn't matter who we are. Only who you are."
Caderyn looked at the little pup and nodded. "Correct. It doesn't matter who we are. So there is no need for you to know our names." He said coldly.

Kay struggled and snarled as Lethe dragged him into the open. He wouldn't go out without a fight. He growled at the cut across his chest. His heart? He twisted to try to swipe at Lethe's muzzle and howled when pain flared hotly in one of his legs. He did a stumbly spin to attempt a swipe at Mnemosyne too. "You'll pay for this!" He snapped.

Igraine frowned. Why did she matter to them? "But... I'm nobody.." She said dizzily. Then recent events came back to her, and Dagger calling her 'princess.' Was that it? But... she was just a puppy still!

Lethe laughed at Kay's threat and his weak swipe at her. "Oh you've got to do better than that!" She cried. Her teeth slashed at his torso as she went to bite his side.
Mnemosyne laughed as well but it turned into a snarl when he hit her on the muzzle. "You'll pay for that brat! With those ugly and disgusting wings!" She declared ripping into his wings. She bent the one and sliced the other up slightly.

Mikey shook his head at the pup. "Oh.... you're not nobody anymore." He said, "Now why don't you shut up. I'm tired of hearing your voice."

"I will!" Kay pulled away from Lethe, his side getting a big scratch instead of a bite and swiped at her again, but that only took him closer to the other female. At first he only felt a slight shock. His... wings... Then a sharp pain stabbed at his back. He clenched his jaw to keep his yelp down to a loud and fierce hiss of pain.
He turned and launched himself full boar at Mnemosyne despite his hanging leg, fangs and front claws aiming for whatever he could get at. He tried to use his good back leg as support to keep him against the female.

Igraine flicked her ears. "I'm somebody?" That thought, despite the fact that it had apparently gotten her and Sandria into this predicament, made her tail wag. They thought she was important for whatever reason. "Then don't listen to it." She said calmly, still not thinking completely straight, and nudged at her sister. Why wasn't she awake yet?

Lethe shook her head at him as she danced out of his way. "Not this time..... Ooo nice one sister!" She cheered. When he attacked Mnemosyne she growled and her eyes glowed brightly. "Leave my sister alone!" She roared as she grabbed him and flung him to the ground. She then pounced on him and began biting and slashing at him with no mercy.
Mnemosyne was shocked when the little brat lunged at her. She then hissed at the pain from all of the scratches and few deeper cuts he gave her. She did nothing at first when Lethe pulled him off of her and began to attack him. After a moment though she pulled her twin off him and grabbed him. "Okay Lethe. I'm fine. If you keep this up you're going to ruin our toy." She said calming her sister down, "And you. Come on. We've played enough. Time to go meet the leader." She pushed him towards the Dead Woods while Lethe gathered herself and followed.

Kay was getting some satisfaction at the hits he was landing on the creepy female who had hurt his wings when he was suddenly flung to the side. There was so much pain!! That female seemed to be everywhere! No way out! He cried out as he was bitten and slashed, an almost constant howl searing his throat until the slashing stopped and he laid there gasping. So, much, pain...
Kay groaned when he was pulled and pushed. They expected him to walk now?! His back leg wasn't working and his vision was fading in and out of clarity, but he didn't want to be carried by these... things. He pulled himself along as best as he could, constantly reminding himself that he had landed some blows on them too. He wasn't the only one bleeding. And they were taking him to the girls now.

Mnemosyne made sure Kay stayed upright while they led him to the base. Soon they walked out of the dead trees and into a clearing with a hole in the ground. She spotted Katsuo and Agrona outside. "Finished up playing with the sneak." She reported to Agrona, "What do you want us to do with him?"
Lethe followed her sister to the base fuming over the fact that she couldn't do any more damage to the little brat. "Please let us finish him off." She said looking at Agrona hopefully, "Shouldn't the others be here?"
Agrona looked up when the twins led a beaten winged pup into the clearing. "Looks like you two had fun." She commented studying the pup, "Leave him for now. Perhaps we can use him as well. Make sure he stays put up here. As for the others.... they should be arriving anytime."
Flying in and landing on a tree branch Charon looked down on the wolves. "So are we making our move now?" He asked taking all who was here, "Looks like I beat the frost queen." He grinned as thought about that.
Nila flew in and landed on the ground. She stood up and glared at Charon. "Shut up ferryman. Otherwise I'll freeze your little tail feathers." She snapped.

Kay wobbled up, glaring at whoever was in his sight. Sneak?! They were the ones kidnapping puppies! He growled out of pure instinct when Lethe asked if they could finish him. His father would never stand for that! Fun... They would pay. But first- He looked around slowly. Where was he? And where were the girls? Down in the cave maybe? He spotted a black and red wolf sitting off to the side and closed his eyes in despairing irritation. Not him...
Sitting in the shadows, Odin watched the goings on with disinterested eyes. He was here for the fight, and that was it. Whatever that silly Agrona wanted and why those two small pups were involved was no matter to him.
He chuckled to himself when he saw the winged child. So, this meant the knights would certainly be involved. Good. They needed a beating. He grinned at Kay's reaction to him, revealing large hungry fangs.

Agrona spotted Odin over in the shadows and grinned. "Lovely that you could come..... Although I feel bad that we're not pulling the main plan yet. We still have things to do before the main event." She said with a sigh, "Right now we're only getting the knights out of the way." She looked over at the Duos and nodded to them. "Good to see you Ice Queen and Ferryman." She said using the code names for the soldiers. They would be hidden in the shadows when the knights showed up. Then they wouldn't know who would be helping her.
Mnemosyne and Lethe wandered off to the side to sit in the shadows. They would stay here until Agrona called for them to leave the dark. They did make sure to keep their eyes on Kay.
Charon and Nila nodded hello to Agrona. Charon flew over to one of the few trees with life and settled in. Nila stalked after him.
Kanna slowly walked into the clearing holding her mirror. She ignored everyone and walked straight to Agrona. She knelt down beside her and looked at everyone gathered thus far. If things began to turn badly she would be Agrona's trump card.

Kay looked back at the female's retreating forms. So.. he was just supposed to stand there? He shivered slightly between flashed of pain and the hostile gazes from all around aimed at him. Following Charon's idea, Kay chose to head for a bush that clung to some life and curled up beneath it to rest. He needed to get his strength back for the girls, and whatever was to come. He also watched and listened carefully without looking like it. What were they saying? The knights out of the way? Father... Uncle Garaden... No!
Odin raised his eyes toward Agrona and smirked humorlessly. "Lovely. I bet." Then he shook his head. "Each step is important. And enjoyable." He said simply, turning back to look at the child. 'Unless you idiots slip up again.' Yes... the knights would be a big step, even if it wasn't supposed to be the main one. He had watched them fight once before, though he doubted anyone but the two from his own pack knew of him. They would be interesting to take down from their high towers.
