Tamahome raised a brow at her sudden irritation in this Sasuke. He would have to look this stallion up later just because the surname intrigued him. Arrogant was a harsh word but it was direct and forward toward him from her point of view. The stallion made his mind up that would be a goal. Besides an angeni was a rare sight and he opted to see one someday. Not as random as a unicorn or a winged, heck even a flutter was rare. No, an angeni was extremely delicate subject the Chinese stallion had to see for himself.
"I see.... I may have to seek out this arrogant creature sometime" he nodded looking over to the hawk whom now was flying over to perch on the stallion's back, "I think even Suzaku here would like a meeting too."
"Maybe... but arrogance and I don't mix Sou, you know that. I'd like to see a duckbutt stallion with huge wings definitely" he chuckled then looked to the mare. Her attitude made him ruffle his feathers even after he preened them.
"Hey now... I take baths regularly and preen my feathers, thank you. " he replied with a snide expression toward her though in playfulness, "Sou here though yeah can't trust him."
The stallion blinked at the hawk and coughed, "What?! There's nothing wrong with me you conceited feather brain. All I was was suggesting if she wanted to chat or whatever. I'm not out to gain mares as I have better things to do, mainly find that Kalona and angeni" he snorted turning to Bai, "That's all I was suggesting so don't take it in another perspective."
"Uh huh suuuuuuuuuure it is."
"Shut up fire chicken."
"Fire chicken! I'll show you a fire chicken orgre nag!"
The stallion then looked to Bai, "It happens a lot. I just deal with it." He apologized in his look towards her. Seemed Suzaku always had a way of starting things as usual.

"Uh huh...?"
The mare spoke with one ear pinned down, in a manner showing her confusion at the two. She could of almost laughed at the comment about Sasuke's duck butt hair. It was just the perfect statement about him.

The two turned simultaneously looking at the mare realizing they were in the usual argument in front of company. The stallion and the hawk both quieted as they turned to face away from one another. It was the usual routine to be bantering at one another with their differences.
"Yes well I think we should forget being immature with comments and be nice to our guest Suzaku." the stallion groaned knowing she probably thought they both were a little much.
"Suit yourself Sou... I'm pondering mice for a snack. Would you or the Princess here like some?" he asked with a chuckle.
The stallion raised a brow, "When I get hungry for mice I'll let you know. I'm pretty sure Princess doesn't feel the need to chomp rodents either."
The hawk stretched his wings a little then swept upwards to the sky, "Oh well more for my pallet. Nice crunchy little appetizers. Later." Pulling upward the hawk shot out like a flaming rocket then zoomed out away from the stallion and mare. Upon seeing movement he shot downwards in a streak of red after his victory.

"Eating rodents sounds...nasty...I will stick to grass thank you very much."
She couldn't bear to imagine how nasty field mice had to taste. They couldn't taste too good, she looked at the stallion.
"Why is it you and the phoenix argue so often? Is there animosity between you two?"
She couldn't understand why those two were always at each others throats so to say. Friends who fought werent friends but nemeses.

Tamahome watched as Suzaku went on his rodent searches feeling disgruntled about even touching anything furry let alone swallowing it after chewing. That had to be the most disgusting thought he ever could have pondered in his mind. Somethings were just better off left alone then thinking about them.
"Yeah grass is much more suited for our kind. I can't see how he lives on furry mammals. Ah to each his own." smirking with a half hearted view he pondered a response for her second question.
"I suppose Suzaku and I are how they sometimes say two peas in the pod. Meaning very much alike. I guess our little spats keep us both motivated and feisty in the grace of the unknown" he responded with amusement. The stallion couldn't resist getting under that hawk's feathers, it was just something he liked doing.
"So what's your family like?"
He looked to the side of him then twitched his ear. He was rather uncoordinated being around another of his kind. She was so serious and hem, well Tama wasn't sure what to say conversation wise. He'd never fully admit he was the shy type either. Ah well he'd have to figure something out in the meantime.

Stepping closer to Tamahome the mare looked at him more closely, finding his behavior odd. "Are you alright? You're acting weird." she calmly said as she moved ever closer to him.

Tamahome threw his head up in surprise at her noting one of his weak points. He hid that really well which was usually a good thing but him being uncomfortable now was a tad unsettling. Quickly he shifted to his cockiness which helped cure that problem.
"Yeah I'm fine" he said trying to somewhat look at her feeling tense, "You didn't tell me about your family. Don't you have any?" he asked as he reined in his emotions to a more suitable way to handle them.
"Don't mind him" came the voice again of the bird, "He's just not one for conversation are you Sou?" The fiery bird chuckled then tossed a leftover head at the two of them.
"Thought you might change your mind. I saved you some" he chuckled again waiting for one or the other to tell him that wasn't polite.
