"the sky is like the water. The colors are a like!" Taharial laughed lightly, switching her gaze to her father who had now entered the stream. It was shallow thankfully, and she was able to bring up her legs in choice to paddle, or adjust her legs to the pebbles to take a small break to trudge through the waters. She had no idea what the seasons were yet, but assured by her father it was something to find out. The birds called out in happy chirps, watching them. All animals were alike, she felt like she could hear words in their voices, but only as much as it sounded like a song.

"Thank you daddy." she smiled sweetly, happy to be praised. She looked down to a bright patch of water only to watch a floating green leaf, soaked by the stream, stained brown - caked in damp mud. "why do the tree's loose their leaves? Mustn't that hurt?" she asked, swimming over to his side. It was a good thing the water was calm, or Taharial thought, for a first time this might of been much harder!

"Very good observation, Taharial." he then said, while watching her paddle around. He dipped his own snout into the water and felt the warm sensation soothing. "This may be the last time we can swim until summer comes, since a lot of these streams and ponds become frozen in the wintertime. But despite that, I think you will like the winter season a lot. Everything is very beautiful and white, and snow is very fun." Spring was right around the bend once winter started, so the cold season went by faster then anyone could complain.

"Oh, the trees?" he then looked up and noticed what she was asking about. "No, don't worry it doesn't hurt them at all. The trees shed their leaves since the cold winds blow away the old grows on the trees. In a sense its like getting a haircut, the trees loose their old leaves and grow new leaves in for the springtime since the weather is much warmer and there are lots of rains." He gazed around at all of the leaves falling, and knew for sure that winter was on the way. "Everything that nature does is very natural and it helps all of the creatures know which season is coming next. Like when leaves start growing back on trees, we will know spring is on the way. But we have lots of time until then."

The little foal twisted her head aside, chuckling lightly before skipping around in the shallower part of the stream. "Nature.." she whispered admiringly, dim lit eyes casting around in attempt to conceal it all in one image. "The leaves make the ground look rweeealy pretty" Her tail waggled each way, damp, her small shaggy feat feather and little grown hair sagged down against her neck .

Suddenly, her gaze shot to him, with a wide hopeful expression, happy at the idea she splashed towards him, water flicking within the air. "D-does that mean, are surroundings will look just like us!?" her observation skills were coming along quite nicely, but white? She heard that too many times! To be the color of a season would just be all too exciting.

He was glad Taharial liked the leaves, and he kicked at some playfully that floated aimlessly in the water. And when she mentioned them matching the winter season, he could only chuckle, since he never realized something so simple but detailed. That was the wonder that kids brought- the always pointed out things that made more sense then adults would figure out. He just loved hearing any details his children wanted to pick out, and he was always fascinated to hear when each child would notice.

"It is true, the surroundings will look white as can be. Luckily you have reddish hair like your mother, so you won't blend in too much." Just as he stuck out with his dark hair, since it was easy to get lost in the massive amounts of snow! "And just when someone is starting to miss color, Spring will melt away all of the snow. Its a wonderful cycle, and I am excited for you to witness it. Then when you've seen all of the season you can pick which one you like the best." And hopefully, Taharial would pick her favorite out of the four and enjoy it the most.

"So the color red is the color of my hair?" she mentioned paddling around her father, he was larger than her, so she had to try skip off of stone at the bottom to make it the full way around. When she came to the front again, she eyed the sky, wondering what winter would be like then. It all sounded so amazing! She loved it when life was explained. Gazing up at him, she tilted her head, then smiled throwing her head into the water so a delicate wave swerved over towards him.

Giggling,s he tried to swim away as fast as possible but looked like a struggling dolphin. "Want to play?" she asked, tilting her head slightly hoping it wouldn't get her into 'too' much trouble. One day she would have to come here again with her brothers or other siblings to play.

"Yes it is." he then responded, while watching her colorful hair flail about in the water. Tah carried the same beautiful red that Angel had on her own locks of hair. It was a wonderful trait to pass on, and Raguel beamed at his daughter resembling his mate so much. All of the daughters of the family were just gorgeous. But that was no surprise to them all looking like Angel so much.

"Play?" he then said, while watching her wiggle away from him. "What kind of play my dear?" He didn't want to swim too fast, since he wanted her to have the chance to win! "If this pond was bigger we'd be able to play hide in seek." He had watched the kids play that before, and unfortunately that was the only game he really knew. He had missed so much for so long when he was held captive that he was still learning the minor details found in everyday life. He still tried to be the best father he could! "What kinds of games do you like? I may need help with the rules." he smiled at her and hoped she'd choose what she truly wanted.

"How about... Tag Daddy?" Tah thought that tag was an easy game to play just chasing each other back and forth. It was a physical activity so dad would enjoy it, or she thought he might. With a small chuckle a happy smile ran across her lips and her tail waggled madly watching his charcoal hair sway. "With tag, you don't really have to take into account any rules at all! Its so free. All you have to do is catch the other and then when you do its their turn to chase the other... Does that sound fun?" trudging further through the water, the ripples ran through the clear waters delicately like a melody; turning, she thought it would be quite a distance to have a slight chance, if any. It was funny, knowing he had the upper advantage, but it would be fun.

"Tag sounds like fun." He then responded while shaking some water out of his mane. He investigated the pond some more and realized they had lots of room to chase each other. The only question was... who started the game? "So, do you want me to chase you first, or would you like to chase me first?" He grinned and tucked his wings against his side as if preparing for the game. "I'll let you choose since it was your wonderful idea for the game. I am happy to do either or!" They would totally have fun, and he hoped he would make the game extra fun for his daughter's enjoyment. Plus, hopefully he wouldn't screw up!

"Hmm I'll chase you daddy!" She chuckled nodding in reassurance, she wanted to let him get the hang of it first because had o experience in the game before, which made her feel special in some way being able to teach her father something for a change, it was... Nice., she shifted her way through the waters again and pulled her hoof up with a short tug so it was released from the gooey sludge below the waters clear surface then shook her upper-self, the water spraying from her jagged coat before setting her eyes gently on her fathers figure. "hmm I'll count to ten? A head start to start the game off" she smiled, wagging her tail happily. She wondered how fast her daddy really was.. Which made her gulp a little at the thought but at least it was a challenge!

Raguel nodded at his daughter's suggestion, and he moved himself a few paces away from her in the water. He prepared himself for her counting, and took a breath in with a smile. He would definitely make it challenging for his daughter, but at the same time he would make it so much fun! He wanted her to triumphantly catch him as well, and he would make that happen as she started to chase him. "Alright, I'm ready." he then admitted, while watching his daughter carefully. "Count away my dear!" And as soon as she did, he would be off wandering the stream. He knew that his daughter would be able to keep up; she had a strong body and mind!

This was bound to be fun!

Taharial watched as her father insisted he was ready, with a great smile stretched out in happiness she began counting. It was good to show independence and this to try catch her Daddy was definitely an act of it;she would try to make him proud of her as well as have fun. "1..." she began watching him stroll along the water and chuckled at the itch tingling along her legs, they wanted to just spring out already! - patience however would not let her. "2... 3..." and she continued until all the way up till ten. Since it had been very slow, fair counting she bounded off and he was somewhat a fair way up the stream, teh water flicking and glittering in the rays of sunlight.

With a sweet light laugh, she tried to push off of the stones from the bottom,s tumbling every now and then but that was ok! It was training, or so she had heard every part in life, whether playing, listening or talking would teach you at least one thing in life. This would help if she ever had to fight through waters to keep safe, how very interesting. She found it hard, but because of the speed she had built from running in the fields, the feeling of the breeze just too amazing to not want to feel on a sunny day, she was able to keep a good distance.

Raguel turned his head to look at his daughter every few seconds, since he would subconsciously make sure she was alright through the whole process. And to his delight, she was doing just fine. After a minute or so of her chasing him, he decided to fake a trip and go underwater to slow him down. It looked as though he had gotten his two front legs twisted together and stopped his body altogether. And to his delight, his daughter was able to then run into him and tag him appropriately. See, she could do it! "It looks like you are the better swimmer than I." he then said, while chuckling and moving some water off of his face.

He knew that it was a game that they were playing, but his daughter was still young. She needed to win every once in awhile! And today was her day, so he allowed for that feeling of progress. "Alright, time to switch! I'll start counting while you start moving!" He waited for her to move away from him so that he could count down for the next round of fun.

The small filly had managed to catch her Daddy, it was a very delightful smile that possessed the little girl and a small ray of accomplishment. With praise her heart was stabbed with a blanket of warmth. Even so, when she had seen him fall she couldn't help but worry, he looked ok, of course hed be ok!

The ivory filly gave a small chuckle whilst wading through the splashing waters. The counting proceeded and as the numbers increased, Taharial got further away in hope she might be some sort of challenge, even if she knew secretly, he would win.

Climbing a small rock mound in the water, quietly she waited, the same sweet playful smile painted along innocent lips, and wagging of her tail waiting for him to take chase. When the counting had finally stopped, again she set off trying not to stumble but doing very little of a good job with how slippery the water had made the rocks.

When he had finished counting he turned and noticed his daughter had picked up an impressive amount of distance. So, without further ado, he paddled himself forward at a comfortable pace. He put his ears back with a playful grin and announced "I'm coming to get ya!" It seemed even he was getting into the swing of the game. And so far he was enjoying the overall time he was spending with his daughter.

A few minutes went by with splashing and laughter, until finally Raguel had made it close to his daughter. "Uh ohh I'm getting closer." he then exclaimed, and with a half-leap forward he nuzzled his daughter on the head. "Aww, got ya!" he then allowed for his daughter to fix her balance and take a moment to herself. A part of him was worried that she might be tired from the whole ordeal. "Would you like to take a rest, Taharial? Or would you like to keep going?" He smiled at her and didn't mind either. All that mattered was that his daughter was happy.
