Makenna stood and walked around placing his bag in the couner, opening the bag he pulled out a large black blanket it had a red stripe down the middle of it, he placed it on a bed and put a large grey t-shirt on that. He was offically ready for bed now he smiled and sat on the bed.
He smiled as he looked down at the bandage. " Thank you." He said to A'Hallei as he watched the boy wishing he'd brought his sketch pad.

Ah bed time, one of only three different scenario in which you'd catch A'Hallei without armor, which was sleeping, bathing, or making repairs on his armor. The white haired boy had walked out onto the balcony, looking up into the sky. A few little birds, finches, flew overhead, peeping sweetly. At Makenna's speaking, A'Hallei turned to look at him, and gave him a brief, but touching and sincere smile.

" So are you going to stay here tonight?"

A'Hallei nodded, taking one last look at the darkening sky before heading inside. Briefly, he wondered if they should put mosquito netting up sometime. Taking a cot beside Makenna, the armor started to come off. Gauntlets clattered to the floor, Pauldrons fell with a heavy thunk, chestplate a tinny clang, Fauld, Laimes, and boots various clanks, and chainmail many clinking noises. With such a ruckus, it was amazing that while he wore the stuff, he was quiet as death.
Under it all, was a loose grey shirt, long sleeved, and a pair of tight black pants, and red socks.
Sitting on the cot, he was glad there was already a thin blanket on it. But... Motioning to Makenna, he tried several different motions, one was flicking on a lighter, another for a flashlight, and a third for a lightbulb with a pull chain to light it. He was inquiring if there was an alternate light source to use once the sun set.

Makenna smiled at A' Hallei and sat up going to his beg, he dug through it untill he found a flash light, going back over to A'Hallei he handed it to him. " I'll get oil lamps tomorrow will this be okay for tonight? Theres extra batteries in my bag the front pocket." he said sitting down. " Arent you going to be too cold?" He asked looking at just the thin blanket on the cot.

A'Hallei took the light and smiled, clicking it on and shining the beam under his face, giving him a heavily shadowed look, especially in his eye sockets. Oddly, the light seemed to reflect off the inside of his eyes and light them up, creating an unearthly glow.
Casting the beam towards the wall, he began to make shadow puppets. First a dog...or was it a duck? No...it kind of looked like a dog, no, more like a dinosaur. No wait! It had an ear, the verdict was out on dog.

A'Hallei made shadow puppets for a few minutes more before realizing Makenna had run off into the land of dreams and shadows. Laying the light on the cot, A'Hallei walked to Makenna's bed, and carefully, gently tucked the boy under the blankets. So sweet, so serene...
Cold fingers touched warm skin as he gingerly caressed the mocha skinned boy's cheek with the back of his fingers, a small sign of affection. Standing once more, A'Hallei swiftly undid his braid and walked outside, to see if he could spot the moon.
He could, white and beautiful, a beloved mark in the sky, and a source of comfort with the cool gentle rays. There were no other visable stars in the sky, all paying homage to the moon. Smiling up at her, the ghostly boy drifted back inside the treehouse and curled up on his cot, falling asleep to the whistles of the wind through the trees, and the screaming of the scorched figures in his mind.

Makenna amiled at the gentle touch, it was soft against his skin but he didn't wake. Sleeping soundly as the other wandered about he rolled onto his side his hand hanging off the cot. Snuggled under the blankets he slept till early the next moring when he got up and started to heat up some water to make breakfast for him self and A'Hallei.

A'Hallei was still, almost too still, but no, he was alive yet, the soft shifting of his chest attributed to the fact that yes, he was still breathing. His hands were hidden from view, also hanging off the cot, but he was faced away from Makenna. Slowly...Slowly he was picking the skin off of the inside of his wrist on his left hand. Fingers lax, he watched the lazy rivulet of blood snake down his hand, through the wrinkles in his skin, and off of his middle finger, dripping with a soft tink, tink on the chestplate of his armor. An odd smile graced his face, eyes tired and dull. To touch his skin would find it as cold as a fish, not once throughout the night did he pull the blanket over himself.
A'Hallei listened to Makenna stir and walk around the treehouse, eyes shifting to the side as he focused on the soft sounds, the patting of bare feet on the wood, the shift of clothes as they brushed together, the quiet sighs and muffled yawns that heralded in the new day. And the steady tinking of his blood hitting the chestplate. Before long it became a plop, as the inside already had a puddle of the sanguine fluid inside, slightly translucent, and dark.

Makenna so focused on his task didn't hear the drips of live liquid hitting the chest plate, nor did he notice it when he walked by, all he noticed was that A'Hallei seemed to be resting peaceful, but when he did he did notice he was ashamed of him self for not paying attention. though like many others he didn't rush to the others aid, he simple found a tiny jar and poured the liquid into it , placing it were the chest plate had laid.
No questions asked no yelling and no tears....for the questions could wait and yelling never solved anything and tears where for later.

A'Hallei watched Makenna with suprise, he had expected a reprimand, or at least a question, but no, the mocha skinned boy even provided him a jar. Waiting a little for him to move off again, A'Hallei sat up and retrieved another bandage, fixing himself up. Picking up the jar, he stared at it, mildly disgusted by the way it clotted, forming disgusting chunks floating about. Disposing of the contents quickly, he cleaned and replaced his armor, and made his way to a couch cushion and sat, quietly watching Makenna, hair falling in gentle waves around his face and shoulders.
He was easy to get along with then one didn't try to stop him.

Makenna amiled as he heated up some water for hot chocolate, then he paused and stoped what he was doing, did A'Hallei even like hot chocolate? He guessed it would be a good thing to find out. " Do you want some hot chocolate?" he hadn't really thought out what they could eat yet.

A'Hallei tilted his head, curious. He'd never known hot chocolate. If it was anything like regular chocolate, it must be delicious. Quickly, he nodded, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Green eyes watched Makenna go about domestic duties, with a hint of something resembling adoration. The dark haired boy was so cute, gentle, understanding. Given the oppourtunity, he could probably just look at Makenna all day, studying the nuances of his behavior, such as how he favored his injured hand, the errant way he pulled back the streak of red in his hair, which tended to fall into his face, and those moments of quiet, where he stilled slightly, thinking. Lovely boy. Obsidian.

Makenna melted some chocolate over the boiling water,he didn't like the instant stuff so he made real hot chocolate. Heating up some milk he poured the liquid chocolate into the mugs stiring in the chocolate he walked over to A'Hallei smiling. " Here, be careful it's hot." he said then went back to dig in his bag for breackfast.
