Oh yeah. Really wierd. I think I have a crush on a trombone player who's like my BFFL. We're also in a non-marching band (like metalish band) and we hang over his house ever Friday. I think he likes me in that way too, but I'm not so sure.
And if any of you travel, have you noticed a lot of band couples get together during trips? My friends hooked up last year when we went to march at Disney. Next year is the Rose Bowl Parade, it is going to be sssooo awesome to see all of the band couples get together all of a sudden.

OMG YES! and i still do.
He's the section leader for the precussion in my band. I first met him freshmen year when we had to play at a game with 8th-graders. I didn't become attracted to him until last year when he was a freshman(i'm a junior and he's a sophomore). His older sister was my section leader last year and i got invited to her birthday party. He asked me to dance with him. The thing was that there were skinnier, probably prettier girls than me there(i'm kinda big i f u know what i mean) but he danced with me instead. I fell for him after that night. I found later that he had a girlfirend and that kinda killed it. Recently though they broke up. I saw his ex at our homecoming dance with a different date and he was by himself. We danced and it rekindled old flames. He's an awesome dancer! heart i think he might know how i feel about him and shows some interest but i could be wrong.
So yea. 3nodding Iknow exactly how you feel.

Seriously. My best friend got asked out by a tenor sax player at a competition not long ago and she said that she liked him too,but she didn't think they should go out.Well,a few days later they were so...Weird,huh?

Band kids are notorious at my school for the dating musical chairs game we play. Example: Step 1: Boys are in a circle on the outside, girls on the inside. Step 2: Whoever is directly behind/ in front of you is your boyfriend/girlfrind until the next time around. Step 3:When bored, step to the left and repeat steps one and two heart
The only time this sucks is when you are crushing on someone that refuses to be a part of the circle sad PS: To people new to marching band, we don't literally do this, but it is an extended metaphor as to how our inter-band dating works.

OH YES!
So, I have a massive crush on one of my three drum majors. He is just so...Ah...Anyways, here are the problems:
1: I want to be a drum major next year, so I can't hang out with him, or it's considered 'favortism'
2: One of my good friends also has a major crush on her, and I don't want to betray her.
3: A lot of people think he's gay.
So yes, I do, and it's killing me. Argh!

I've been crushing on the same person for over a year now, and its only recently that we actually became friends.
I play trombone, and so does he, and hes a senior, so he's section leader whee
He's so weird, he sings the most random songs at the most random times and hes so cute and really funny. He took me to homecoming this year. He's so nice he treated me like I was the most precious girl in the world, unfortunately, he hasnt treated me that way since the dance. UGH i'm so crazy for him. whee
Aside from that, I had a crush on our drum major last year. He was so cute, and so sweet. But he graduated.. crying
