Niki smiled and shook the man's hand. "Why hello." She grinned at Litural, ignoring the boy's mood. She could see why her daughter had liked the boy. Allete had this thing about wings... and the kid had wings alright. "Are we not feeling friendly today?" Allete often had no concept on personal space when it came to wings, so she could guess at what had possibly peeved the boy.
Allete glanced up at her mother, frowning. She wanted the boy to like her... but he seemed very grumpy. Maybe he hadn't been able to get candy? That would make her grumpy!

"Lit is...sensitive about being touched," Santana said carefully. He really didn't want to say things that would put entirely too much blame on the child, especially about things that Lit couldn't control. He was part Wrath. He'd been abandoned. He had rage issues. Well, that last one was something Lit could control...but that would come with more time.
"The kids...well, Allete...she wanted to play with Lit sometime. Maybe we could set up a day for them to visit together?"
Lit just continued to glare at Allete, glancing up at Santana when he spoke about playing with the girl. Sure, leave them somewhere together...he'd rip those pretty little wings off her back.

Niki paused and then nodded at the man's explanation. "I see." She eyed her daughter. That kid had to learn one day that not everyone was friendly... "That sounds good to me." She scribbled something down on a piece of paper she fished out of her purse. "Here's my number. I'm rather flexible, so just call sometime and we can set something up."
Allete peered at the boy for a while, still wanting to play with him THEN. Not later, NOW. She sighed as her mother took her hand and told her to wave bye to the boy. With a frown on her face, she reluctantly did as told, still hoping he'd want to play now.
