Lea chuckled, her eyes glinting with humor. "Flying would be rather convenient for that purpose, but thankfully we don't leave very much. Meeting you was purely chance. This is the first time I've ever left the mountains, and I'm not exactly young."
She tilted her head. "Perhaps you could visit some time."

"First time you've left?" He asked, tone shifting to one of shock. As a being who wasn't exactly dwelling in a sedentary lifestyle, this thought seemed rather peculiar and unusual to Uha. His scrunched face, not very well hidden, was the outer showing of this. How absolutely queer; not traveling! To be perfectly honest, he couldn't imagine a life of being unable to move freely.
Realizing, though, that he'd made the mistake of showing this physically, he shook his head. "Oh, sorry, sorry! Again, I meant no offense to it. I just... traveling, really, keeps me alive." He said with a softer smile now, and then a shrug. "But yes, flying certainly makes travel more... travelable? Something like that," he waved a paw at this. "But yes, most certainly! I would love to come visit. Perhaps I shall know how to disguise myself by then."

Lea shook her head. "The valley is more than enough to sustain our tribe, and so we remain there. Females sometimes leave to find mates, to bring in outside blood, but that's about it." She smiled, tilting her head. "Disguise yourself? Gods are peculiar beings. I wonder if life would be easier if we had the powers you do, or if it would only be more complicated."

"Only the females?" He asked lightly, unaware if the tribe had any particular customs to this or no. But, then again... he supposed it would be easier for a female to go out and have cubs to return with, rather than a male. Maternal instincts! ...Yes, yes, that was it. At the question of his disguising, Uha smiled.
"Gods and goddesses... or, so I've been told; I'm not sure how to do it myself," he admitted, sheepishly, "But... every god or godess can disguise themselves. Wings gone, fur color changed... they can blend perfectly as mortals!" He spoke excitedly, a slight twinkle passing his eye. "Someday, I would love to learn how."
When she moved on to complication, however, Uha's ears drooped. "Who knows?" He mumbled quietly, quite honestly not sure himself. "It's complicated enough as-is."

Lea nodded, but since he seemed to have answered his own question, she didn't elaborate. Her eyes widened at his description of disguise. Not only was she amazed that it was possible, but it made her wonder about her own tribe. What if Bomabembea and Sakitu had disguised themselves? What if, what if, what if. Her mind was full of questions, but there was little else she could think of to ask the god that might clarify things for her.
"I should get going," she said, a hint of regret in her tone. "It's almost time for me to go home."

"I- ...oh." There was obvious disappointment in his voice, but Uha nodded in understanding, realizing that the lioness did need to head out. She had a long journey to the mountains, after all! Offering one more waek smile, he stood. "Well then," he began, wings fluttering lightly, "I won't be keeping you! I ought to finally see Mtima, as well," he gestured in the direction which he had originally come from. Pausing a moment, his smile faded.
"And... I apologize, again, for... confusing things, I suppose," he mumbled weakly, ducking his head low in apology. "If it at all helps, I wish you the best in the future, with safe travels and a happy life in your tribe." Looking up, Uha's somber mood remained- that is, of course, until he cracked a terribly cheesy grin.
"I expect to see you well and happy when I come to visit!"

"There's nothing to apologize for," she said immediately, smiling. "I can hardly be angry about a bit of extra wisdom, contrary to my beliefs or not. I hope that you learn how to disguise yourself soon and come to visit. The tribe might not take too kindly to you as a god, but as a mortal that I can say I met during my excursion, I believe you'd be welcome to stay as a guest."
She nodded to him, glancing over his strange form one last time.

"Well, I would most certainly love that. It may be a bit hard to find you, but... I'm sure, if I try hard enough, that I can." Flicking his ears lightly, he turned fully away from her. "I... I suppose I can't be apologizing again, so I'll just say that it was nice to meet you." He offered, still heading off in the opposite direction. "Again, good luck on your travels! And stay well!"
And that was that, he supposed. Taking into a light run, Uha took a moment to build his speed, but eventually took off- back to Mtima, to speak with her on what had transpired between himself and Lea. Such curious, wonderful creatures mortals were!
He only hoped they could all be this interesting.
