True. Remixing is hardly a reason to release another album.

eh dont be so harsh i found the remix using "Daft Punk is Playing at My House" strangely good
i just am hoping that daft punk releases some REAL stuff soon and they go on tour, hopefully somewhere in Southern California. Id do some bad things to get my hands on a few tickets to their concert.

Good luck! I'm making a helmet too. I'm sure you guys know about thedaftclub.com but there's an excellent thread you might want to explore. I'm using a baseball helmet as a base and Styrofoam for the outside of the visor. I just don't know where I can find window tint. I'm starting slow and not adding any lights or wires.

Good luck. Styrofoam is waaaaay to flimsy and breaks easy. Baseball helmets usuallly make for a trashy look. Mine was full fiber glass. And for window tint: Get plexiglass and stick it in the microwave (terrible sounding idea, I know) but just enough so that it is hot enough to bend. Bend it to the desired shape then let it cool. Then check at auto supplie shops, for instance pep boys or autozone. you might wanna check the internet if that doesnt work

I'm not a crash test dummy. I won't break it. And I might make another one from a bike helmet or something if this one doesn't turn out right. I'm using foam because I'm better at sculpting than trying to make a shape out of 2D pieces if cardboard. It's a more firm kind of foam than you might be thinking of. I'm not professional enough to mess with fiberglass and I have a sheet of plastic that's flexible enough as a visor. I live in the sticks so my resources are limited. I might need to make a trip to Fort Worth for a better helmet or LED stuff.

And speaking of the LEDs, there's someone on youtube who made some amazing DP helmets but also a robot costume to go with it. I'm going to construct one like theirs only being my own design. But I have no idea what kind of LEDs those are on the hoodie or where to find them. I don't have a card so I can't order anything.

My friend and I successfully made both helmets this year. The only problem was the glass on Guy-Manuel's helmet. We couldn't get it to curve nicely the way it's supposed to. That was kinda disappointing but we really liked them :D

The Thomas one is cute. Hey! I bet you could fix Guy's helmet with some kind of filler on the top to make it round since you don't have to see through that part.
