Nila paused before the father, cautious. "I was curious. I've never had a family, and the little ones looked so sweet," she said with a certain amount of caution and honesty. The little ones did look so...so...well, so amazing, she was quite curious about them, and she wanted to at the very least congratulate the parents on such sweet children.

Isis sat there watching her sister have a giggling fit, and couldn't help but to join in. She was laughing so hard like Nasuada that Isis nearly rolled off the branch, and from the tops of Telperion. Catching herself on a branch below her, as she toppled over, Isis still was laughing though it had calmed a bit. Smelling the sweet scent of the sap, Isis smiled and climbed back up to her sister. "You smell good though, not like an ordinary tree." Then was her attention brought to the dark blue newcomer. Isis had heard what she had said. "Do you know if that's another friend of mommy's?" she asked Nasuada, though she thought not. Not yet anyways.

Nashwa grinned and shook her head with a tiny laugh. "Well, I think we can agree on that fact. Saiyuri will manage. I can see that. Does my heart good to see that."
The gray female looked up at the approaching painter, her mothering instincts immediately running through where all her babies were located. Her expression didn't betray this fact.
The twins screeched to a halt when the Corn Baby stopped, pointed upward and indicated a new Painter. Zini and Syn crouched low to the ground and kept glancing from their parents to the newcomer. Their folks didn't seem to be terribly bother so it must be okay, right?
Nashwa rose and turned to face the female, her wings very slightly spread and her tail curling from one side to the other. Her expression was fairly neutral, her eyes warned that if she were to try anything towards the youngsters, trouble would be upon her head in the blink of an eye. Her behavior softened minutely when she heard what the female stated as her reason for dropping by. Nash moved to stand next to Grendel, her head high and confident. "Thank you. What might your name be? I'm Nashwa, their mother."
Zini stalked closer to his parents and the new adult. His sister crept up along side Laurelin.

Nila bowed her head. "And a fine mother you must be," she said with respect and awe. "I'm Nila. I've never seen other hatchlings in my life." Suddenly, the realization of how alone she'd been inside hit her and she briefly regretted that she had been an orphan, but remembered how much fun she'd had on the rare occasion she'd seen a Merdrac.

“ I dunno. She don’t look familiar.” Murmured Nasuada, looking up from the enticing sap to observe the new adult. Although she wasn’t certain what to make of the newcomer, she was content to trust her parents’ opinion, especially since it enabled her to concentrate on other things.
Flicking a tongue out to taste the sap, the expression on Nasuada’s face was priceless when it got stuck in the pale, silvery glob. She gently tugged back several times until at last nothing more then a string of the sticky stuff connected her mouth to the goop, though that left the problem of trying to chew. She smacked loudly several times, but when the sweet taste of the sap burst over her tongue, she decided that the mess and trouble was worth it.
Chuckling, Telperion reached up to steady the two hatchlings before he began to move.
“ Hold on up there.”
It took less then a handful of strides to bring the Ent to Grendel’s side. Reaching up, he grabbed Nasuada, and plopped her down at the green Painter’s feet.
“ I believe this little lady requires cleaning.”
Nasuada made a motion to protest, put the sap had effectively sealed her lips together, making her look rather put-out. Grendel found his daughter’s predicament to be amusing, but he held back his laughter; Laurelin, however, had no such reservations. Giggling like mad, she swiped her hand over the Hatchling’s mouth, coating her fingers in some of the remnants of the sap before sticking her hand in her own mouth and sucking happily.
“ You want to know more about Hatchlings? There you go, observe.” Although his words were gruff, his voice was kind enough. Hesitating, he eyed the sticky baby, trying to figure out what to do.
' Bathe her, I suppose. I wonder if there’s a stream nearby…'

Isis watched with curious eyes, as the newcomer seemed to have come because of her siblings and her. Waiting until Telperion had moved over next to Grendel, had she glanced at her sister. Isis nearly fell out of the tree, after being balanced, as she watched Nasuada and the sappy mess, laughing hysterically. "I'll have to make sure not to get into a sticky situation like that," she tried joking. Though from her, she though it sounded stupid. Finally calming down some, Isis flicked her own tongue out. Trying to keep it from getting stuck in the sap, but her strategy didn't work. She ended up like her sister. Her mouth smacking loudly as she chewed, and the pale, silvery sap stuck on her face. Climbing out of Telperion's branches and to the ground, Isis pranced over to her mother and plopped down. Grinning, or trying to grin, she looked to the newcomer then to her mother.
