Meiazure: Check the subfourms. There's a place for gaia chat and real life chat, and a chatterbox!!!
Start a thread there if you feel.

Perhaps a Tutorial/Help subforum, to assist new users in such functions as posting images, modifying signatures, using photoshop, and other such things of that nature. For those who want to lend a helping hand, or simply those who wish to share their expertise, such a subforum would be a most wonderous place.

Maybe an Exit forum would help; just a place where everyone can say things like 'I have to go' or 'Be right back' or 'I'm gonna be gone for two weeks'. A nice place to give people notice.

@ Rach: I've actually been thinking about the whole art subforum thing... you can definitely expect to see one here in the near future 3nodding . The only thing I'm still trying to figure out regarding that is how to draw clear distinctions between the art subforum & the already existing Buy/Sell/Trade/Minishop subforum... since so many minishops are art shops. But... yep, yep... an art subforum will be soon to come blaugh
@ Mobius: The Resources subforum is kind of an attempt at a Help/Tutorials subforum, although I suppose the latter would almost definitely be a much better name for it... *thinks*... will definitely take that into consideration 3nodding
As for an Exit subforum, that's a really interesting idea... very creative; never seen or heard of it before. I don't know how a whole subforum for that purpose would work out, but an Exit thread would certainly be a good idea... hmm... definitely heart

I don't think a Fanfic subforum is great. Maybe just a Writing Forum... or a full out "Inner Expression" one... it could cover all the arts, from photography to drawing to painting to writing to music, etc.
Besides, FanFics are sometimes illegal. Like Anne Rice... she totally forbids them. Seriously, if you get caught writing an Anne Rice fanfic, you could be fined for plagiarism. Serious stuff, man. (I heard Stephenie Meyer wants to forbid fanfics on her books too. o.o My poor Edward and Jasper fantasies!!)
But yeah... maybe we could make a recruit thread in the GGN Forum in the main forum section on Gaia? It's worked well another guild I'm in as a VC. Pretty successful if you do the right kind of advertising... depending on what audience you're projecting towards, anyway.
And maybe a Gaming Sub? (I didn't see one...) You know, where members could post threads with games like the "Colors Game" or the "< ^ v Game."
Things like that. =] <3

Doesn't gothic angels have something smiler to that? Though theirs is only for people who are going to be gone awhile. But will people bother to tell every one if their just going to be gone an hour or the rest of the day? I do like the idea though.

Hi, I'am still somewhat new to the this guild. But I suggest perhaps, (Days of the week) Thread: or perhaps topis for ideas for every day of the week so there will be something (on) new every day.
Also, a few more contest would be nice...................................

I love Ayumu's idea.. that sounds so cool.. It'd be nice to hang out in a village filled with nothing but guild members.. it'd be like a small meet and greet.. lol..
I like that the guild isn't littered with too many subforums.. just the basics and a couple of "specialty" ones.. alot of guilds I was part of had so many subbies that it ended up looking sloppy and it kinda divided the guild more than unify them since we'd all congregate in different areas.
I like the subbies there are so far cos it serves all needs we have so far. This guild is fast becoming my favorite.. I just hope it remains active and grows..

Don't make a lot of subforums you will regret it trust me. I run the largest lit guild and we have nine subforums that we can't find anything to do with for the most part.
