Hellsing Retard People only bash other people when they don't understand something. For example, the Homosexual, Bisexual, and Transgendered community was underground for an incredibly long time. And then, at some point in my earlier teenage years ( Maybe. I think I was about 12.... that was about 3 years ago, correct me if I'm wrong) there was this uprising for lack of a better word. And, naturally, people just didn't get them. Of course, you have those extremists like the Nazis and the KKK and deathly radical religious groups who believe that 'God never wanted these heathens!' Once again, correct me if I'm wrong. Then you have those people who are just like, "Okay, this is a little abrupt and kinda scary." And, as in the case of the civil rights movement, there's the underdog of underdogs. The low class person who works hard to get by on life and gets no rewards, and envies the sudden rights of the community. The latter group needs someone to direct their anger to. So why not the group that's getting all these rights when they're barely getting anything? The middle group is the group often influenced by the media and others opinions. And the first groups...... I yield no explanation for them, honestly. In the end, it's all just a human thing. People hate what they don't know about, so they degrade it to feel more secure about it. What a lengthy way to get to the point..... Honestly, I believe it is the misunderstanding of something. the comment on group-thinks is the best way to describe it.

Well growing up in a heavily racist area, bashing was commonplace there. Heck most of my friends were either KKK, or Neo Nazi's. I know for me, my parents had a very strong dislike to hatred for gays and lesbians. Heck, my dad said to me and I quote, "If I ever find out you are gay or bi...this shotgun will be the last thing you see. I don't make threats...I make promises." Scary thing is I know he would do that to, so part of my is scared of gays because of how I was raised. Though I try not to let it affect me, it is darn hard not to. I had a lot of bashing around me to get used to, either God bashing, gay or lesbian bashing...and the black derogatory jokes made me want to throw up. It is odd how that all works, my parents are against racism. Hm, my two cents on why I agree with raising...but coming from a poor family there is more to it than that. I watch the news and I see the percentage of...let us say Mexicans are increasing in numbers, they take the jobs and send the money back to Mexico, avoid taxes and citizenship. I see that and get angry because here I am as an American citizen, born and raised. Can't get a job because of the market, I am lucky to eat a meal a day and am barely able to say alive off of loans. ((Last part all true)) So I see that and am angry and jealous, 'how dare someone come here and take a job I may very well need, take the money, not pay taxes and send it home and live comfortably here! Thus a hatred is born for Mexicans and bashing them for what a few do.

My dad had a co-worker who had an operation done, at the time that this takes place however it was only -halfway- done, now my dad diddn't mind and neither do I, but the company blew it way out of proportions for the sake of 'sensitivity towards all workers'. To put it into so many words the company payed to make him/her a seperate locker room... Now maybe this dosn't have anything to do with bashing but it just seems kind of rediculous to me is all, does that make me sound like an a**?

Now that makes sense, really they diddn't know what to do with him/her when it came to using facilities they must have, well reacted out of fear and confusion instead of trying to come up with a more temporary solution that would have cost the company less then they spent to make the locker room.

TOP TEN REASONS WHY GAY MARRIAGE IS WRONG 1 ) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2 ) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3 ) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4 ) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5 ) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6 ) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7 ) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8 ) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9 ) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10 ) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans. My case in point. That pretty puts a hole in every argument any narrow-minded, homophobic idiot has ever come up with.
I'm not an angry person. Very rarely do I get angry; mostly, I just get frustrated and stubborn.
However, there are two things - ONLY TWO - that can set my fuse off like dynamite.
The first is my brother.
The second is gay-bashing.
Could this be because my best friend is a gay? Yes, it is. Am I biased? Abso-freakin-lutely. But it really pissees me off when people can't get over their own narrow-mindedness to see how (forgive my incorrect use of the world) retarded their arguments and prejudices are.
We're in the twenty-first century, people! GET OVER IT!
Too bad I'm merely preaching to the choir.

I personally agree with..umm i sorta forgot the username sorry....said about how people often degrade things that they are afraid of. Because we, meaning majority of the people, are afraid of things we don't understand, we often say its 'wrong', or not true, or fake, etc. It's natural but its not right. Like any type of bashing is just plain annoying if your just going along with everyone without like good reasons, personally, i think the only bashing i did was to god and stuff about how these 2 bitches(excuse my language) who were related got me annoyed when we had this conversation on god and whatnot. This is not to offend anyone. i was just saying it and personally i don't believe in god, but that has nothing to do with this anymore...anyways so yeah, that's my thought. And i totally felt the need to counter finn's ten reasons so yeah XDD
1) I totally agree that being gay is not natural, like animals aren't gay, like you don't find this in nature, it wasn't meant to be BUT, humans change things, its the way of life. Things change. Just because it's not natural doesn't mean its bad. and part B of #1, pu-leaze, 'real' americans, Just because an american doesn't reject unnatural things doesn't mean their not real.....if that were the case then i'd say 99.89999999 of the people aren't real americans by YOUR definition.
2)Maybe it will, and what? really?!! if i hang around tall people i'll get even taller than i am now?! NOTT. how is that true? are they gonna make me wanna do things to grow taller or something. I agree with your statement about gay marriage and stuff, but it's not all that negative. Like it won't necessarily encourage people.
~haven't you ever thought about why some people are gay, bi , etc? there are probably a lot of reasons, but maybe its cause something happened to them and they feel more comfortable with the same sex, and/or maybe it was because something traumatic happened. Then it wouldn't be their fault would it? Would you condemn them for that? I know i wouldn't....i accept all orientations, and i don't say that to go along with others and seem 'cool' i say it because i always have accepted them,
3) That may be possible, but that would only be for fun, and i don't see what type of person would do that unless there is something off about that person. And two, i don't think any person in their right mind would do that, so yeah..............it sorta doesn't make sense....about a human wanting to marry their dog because they love it so much, not the pet love, but human love, that they would marry it =.=
4)i don't see how your number four is a reason but whatever. As i said, things change. its just because humans are too thickheaded to accept things, and so things change very slowly. Women are not property, and i'd prove it to anyone who thinks that, and when can't blacks marry whites? my cousin whose an asian married a black, so what? and divorce is illegal? O.o it was ? since when now? there are so many divorces going on, if it was illegal i'd imagine that there would be ALOT of people having to pay money or something since it was.
5)i somewhat agree with that statement, but straight marriage still will hold it's 'meaning' even with gay marriage, i don't really think it will change
6) oh so what! Maybe gays will adopt children because they can't have children, and that'll help us out since there are so many homless children who want/need homes and people to care for them! oh ho, the orphanages aren't full yet?!! do you know how many children are homeless. Do you see the streets filled with kids? In america, i don't see many children as much as adults, but it can be heartbreaking when you see how many homeless people there are. Even though they might've deserved where they are now, don't you feel the need to help them a little?
7) Uh huh, if straight parents only raise straight children, then why are there gays? it doesn't make sense, and i'm trying to find a way to explain it myself without making it complicated, which really isn't working. And its not obviously, you mean YOUR OPINION IS that gay parents will raise gay children. which is TOTALLY wrong sine they might not. and no, straight parents does not mean they'll raise straight children.
cool oh really, then i'd like you to tell me what that one religion is, because if its anything to do with jews, catholics, and anything dealing with a superior being, its totally wrong! because nice to meet you, i don't believe in god. and technically everyone's a buddhist, since we try to solve our own problems.<
9)Ehem, we don't forbid single parents to raise children. There have been people who are single parents and they raise their children fine! I myself know someone whose like that and their whole family is like a normal family, they have problems, they solve it, except they've faced more problems and most likely pain than a lot of people. and that family, they have a son whose becoming a doctor, so uh huh, children can never succeed blahblahblah PSHHH.
10)This is EXACTLY why we don't get change. people fear things. Just like the reason you gave exactly follows the reason that i think why people can't accept things quickly. Maybe this is one of the reasons why humans don't do well with things they don't know. Why do you fear change? Because it might bring harm? If it does, then we'll just have to find a way to fix it. Isn't that simple? i know the idea is and it would be hard, but either way, we gotta do it some day right?
okay, i'm totally just stopping there, since these are my counters and stuff.....=.= yes i'm stubborn too, i'm stubborn as hell, and i'm not really pissed, just countering your reasons since i got bored, and also i felt complied to, my inner self wouldn't let me go to sleep without doing this first ^^
edit: i may have misunderstood you and i'm guessing i probably did, and if i did then these responses are just for the fun of it then...

The only example I can really use it gay bashing, since that is really all I know about.
It is all Christianity's fault on this one. They acted as the Shepard and got everyone to think that gays were evil and freaks of nature. Because of this, everyone doesn't want anything to do with them because they want to be seen as pure in the eyes of God or some other ignorant crap like that.
America hates them because we were raised on good old Christian values.
And is America free for all? No.
This is just my opinion though.
(I find I must say that I am biased about this; for one I disagree with religion in general so of course I am against it being mean to minorities, for two my best friend is gay)
