Shikamaru began to look around the room, studying the faces of those around; familiar and otherwise.... Something about the girl in the back sitting near Rin was off to him, but he couldn't quite place what.... He already started thinking about a strategy to sneak out of class, hopefully unnoticed by the instructors.

Kita watched as a boy teased a girl who was sitting in the back. She bit her bottom lip, wanting desperately to say something, but knew it wouldn't help. She watched the girl defend herself. She had to smile and admire the girl's strength. If she was more like that, she would be able to make friends....

Naruto snickered, smiling up at her.
"You know me too well, Rin-chan," He stated jokingly, "I may have pulled a prank or two on some unsuspecting villagers," He whispered.
Then sat back, and started laughing happily. After that, he noticed his friend Shikamaru enter, as well as Kikyo.
"Hey Kikyo-chan! Hey Shikamaru!" He shouted, waving to both of them with a wide grin, just as he had done to Rin.

Kikyo half waved at Naruto, hoping she'd be able to take a nap through out the day. She was just tired and cranky to day, not a god combo for Kikyo.

"What a drag." Shikamaru whispered to himself before turning around and returning Naruto's wave. He went ahead and made friendly gestures to all the other students as well, secretly taking notice of all the open windows and other possible escape methods.... Class was really such a drag....

Kikyo sighed. The class was gonna be too loud fro her to nap. She'd have to fake sick. Hopefully she could get by Iruka-sensei before he really caught on.

Kita blushed when a boy slightly waved at her. She shook her head quickly, knowing he was just trying to be friendly. Did she really look that desperate? She hoped not. She brought her fingers to her hair, playing with the red strands falling from her ponytail. This was all she could do to not look nervous....

Shikamaru laid back. Perhaps he would just sit through class today. Naruto, Choji, Kiba, and himself usually always snuck out, so it wasn't exactly easy to get by Iruka Sensei since he'd be watching them closely. Wondering when eveything was going to get started, he took one last look around before laying his head on the desk.

Kikyo sighed and started to act like she felt sick. She looked around sleepily and then laid her head on the desk, as though she was ready to pass out.

Rin smied at all the old and new faces.This was going to be in interesting year.She headed back towards her seat."Hey Kikyo-Chna!"Rin said giving her friend a hug."Any thing to be aware of?"She asked into her ear.

Kikyo shrugged weakly.
"I'm gonna fake sick, cause the first day is always a snore fest." The soon to be kunochi said, still acting as though she didn't feel good.

Shikamaru began to doze off. In his dreams, he was floating through the skies above Konoha village. Lazily, he watched over the village until he came upon a cloud eating potato chips. "Hey, Shikamaru," it said to him. "Choji?! Is that you? What're you doing up here?" - "Eating," he replied. A small smile parted Shikamaru's lips, "Even when you don't have a stomache, you still can't think about anything but your stomache." Suddenly, a huge explosion ripped through the village below. Shikamaru tried to see the cause but before he could he snapped back awake.... He couldn't remember anything he was dreaming about.... Looking around again, he began to wonder why the instructors hadn't arrived yet.... Something must've been up.

Rock lee ran into the academy. He was late for the first day had already out of breath. "Oh, how will I ever become better?" He mumbled to himself and found his class room. Iruka was so post to be his teacher He walked into a good sized room to see it almost full of his peers. He could see Naruto, Shikamaru, Chogi, and many others. "What powerful youth" He said and found a seat behind Naruto. "Are you as Exited as I my friend?!" He asked leaning forwards a little.

Enter ---&| Naruto Uzumaki!"Uhh.. Huh?" Naruto questioned, turning around in his seat. He was greeted with Rock Lee.
"Oh, hey, Bushy Brows!" He greeted his friendm using the nickname he usually did.
Naruto gave his friend a thunbs up, and smiled.
