Sullivan froze with a smile spreading on his face as she block his attack, letting out a happy croak that he had found an opponent who didn't back away when faced with something unfamiliar. He leapt back again and began to circle her, waiting for an attack or an opening to attack directly.

Aiday stood still for a moment when he jumped back before setting her paw down. She watched him circle from the corners of her eyes and smirked lightly. She waited for him to make the first move.

Sullivan paused, seeing that she wasn't doing anything. Shrugging, he decided to stop and arc his back, supposedly letting his guard down. He blinked for a moment, and then sat down, still waiting for her to do something.

Aiday laughed on the inside as she saw him 'let his guard down'. Only a fool would fall for such an obvious trick; and a fool she is not. She continued to sit for a moment before smiling. "Hello!"

He looked up and grinned back at her, glad she was no fool. "Rib-Rhello," he replied, trying to remember his limited amount of words. His guard still did not go down, but he was open to learning more words if she wanted to try and teach him.

Aiday puffed out her cheeks, it seeming that her hard work of trying to make Sullivan English-literate having gone to mostly waste. "Not rhello. It's Hello... Hel-lo."

Sullivan nodded, this time remembering to curl up his lip to avoid the 'r'. "Hello, Aiday," he said, trying not to add a croak to the end of it, "Nice day out." He grinned a little, hoping he had gotten the last three words correct.

Aiday smiled and gave him a thumb's-up in approval of his words. "That's correct!" she said before winking and replying to him. "Hello Sullivan. It is nice out, isn't it?"

Accidentally letting out a happy croak, Sullivan grinned a little wider and thought about what words to use to respond to her question. "Yes, it is no cloudy sky," he said, his grin turning into a frown as he knew that didn't sound quite right.

Aiday blinked before putting on a 'confused' face. "You mean, 'There's no clouds in the sky'... Right?" She asked before beginning to walk over to him. She never let down her guard.

"Yes," he said, his guard never waivering as well, "There's no clouds in the sky." His grin returned and he watched as she drew closer.

"Ah, that makes more sense," she admitted before glancing up at the sky. There weren't any, it was all the same shade of blue throughout. She looked back down at him with a smirk.

Sullivan's grin only grew wider. He didn't care if he didn't quite phrase things correctly yet; he was learning how to speak, and with enough practice he would soon be able to speak fluently. At least that what he hoped. And then if they decided they wanted to he and Aiday could exchange some witty banter when they sparred, make it more fun than it already was, if that was possible.

Aiday sat down and facked her guard down as she closed her eyes and yawned loudly. Her tail swished very slowley behind her. Her eyes re-opened, and she looked at Sullivan. "Want to get something to eat?"

Sullivan was wary at her apparent boredom, but let himself visibly relax as well. His mind was still waiting for an attack until she asked him about food. "To reat?" he asked, pondering for a moment and then nodding, "Okay."
