And...suddenly you're the guild's morality police? Mitsh made a post about belittling people and antagonization. Unless I've missed something. Personally, I don't believe reading minds is possible. I read people all the time, but it's based on exactly what I suggested. You can determine how a person feels based on their response to certain stimuli. Simply offering my opinion. Perhaps you should calm down a bit. And not sound so much like an 11-year-old cheerleader. Listen man, im just saying , we can't be nit picking each others views. We have to help out are fellow occultists.

I would take the suggestion to read body language and physiognomy before diving into the 'mind reading' pool.

There's a few techniques you can find around. Google it and maybe a few other words that are less likely to be found in a game, and you may find something.
Konstantinos has something about it in one of his books, I think it's "Gothic Grimoire", personally I haven't tried more then once I think, and I really don't care to. Though, I'm not bad at naturally reading people without the psychic thing.
If you want a more reliable source, on Gaia, good luck. Oh, Mysteric Realms, ish good.
On the flip side, with the mind-reading; I think if you learned how to, and if it's like almost anything else in the world, it would take a fair bit of time, and then it would probably take even longer to have a good handle on it. So, what I'm saying is, good luck with it, and best wishes on handling the stray thoughts and whatever negativity you may come across.

Thanks, Zurine. I would have thought the whole "Vice Captain" thing would, you know, fix the whole people thinking I'm a man thing. But, eh. I haven't been around much as of late.
Posting for help in a guild of predominantly teenagers is going to get you a handful of facts, opinions, and "you're ******** retarded"s. If you're looking for strictly facts, I would suggest doing the research yourself. Any decent teacher is going to be concerned with what you're using the knowledge for. You don't teach a man to assemble a bomb until you're sure he's on your side.
If anything, those offering alternatives and opinions are being more helpful than someone who simply says, "oh, yeah. I can tell you exactly how to do it." Which, by the way, I've noticed no one has done.

It does work. Though the book got way too dark and creepy for me, so I stopped practicing that guys techniques.
When I think of the whole mind reading thing, it's not like you'd be able to read 100% of the people you meet. Nor will you be able to read 100% of what they think.
It's more like a 5% and a 15%...

bloo blah ble blah, the expert is here! *Bows* I know you all must have missed me but now I'm here to enlighten you. My brother and I give each other some natural ability with "mind reading" because we shared a womb, I have no clue what that has to do with syncing psychs but somehow it does. And mind reading isn't like some X-men s**t where you here their voice in you head. You just think exactly the same thought as if their thoughts were just forced into your brain.
While the "reading" peoples' emotions does work, it only works on the simpler thoughts and emotions.

I do agree that you see their thought process, but you can hear their thoughts as well. Animals are the only ones, other then autistic people (with short narrorative) that I've encountered that strictly think in pictures.
A normal mind will think, but a great many of these thoughts are narrorative and pictures.
And a supernatural connection between twins has been scientifically proven. So, I agree.
Though I believe that a part of thought process is emotion. Without emotion it would be like reading a book starting from the middle.

Or, I suppose the more simple question is: Are you and your brother twins? And, in your second little comment, are you referring to reading people in the mundane sense or are you referring to empathy. For an expert, you can be quite unclear.
