MORE MEAT FOR ME! scream At the risk of offending someone, I always kind of roll my eyes at people who get all sympathetic over livestock. i'm a big fan of the natural order. i likes my fruits and veggies and meats and seafood. i dont roll my eyes at those people, but... well... we ARE omnivores. I feel sorry for when I eat a steak just like a wolf feels sorry when he eats a lamb.

I myself am not a vegetarian by anyone's standards, though I rarely if ever eat red meat. However, I can see where Hollow is coming from, because the meat production industry is really a brutal operation. Yeah, I still eat meat, but I'm aware that the behind-the-scenes view isn't pretty.
And that's saying nothing of the conditions for workers at some of these plants, quite a few of which rely on legal and illegal immigrant labor.

Hollow, I have a ton of respect for you because of that. Seriously, I wish I had the balls to give up most meat like that. But I personally, though I feel its wrong, am not bothered by seeing the videos of cows being slaughtered. I can eat a steak while watching the video of it and not be affected, but I really do think its wrong, but its just part of the natural process, I suppose.

I like beef to much, to give it up at the moment. I don't each much pork as it is, just an occasional strip of bacon.
