"Hai, unless you can make it to the mountain...I can't...I can meet up with you later....but...we could go down slowly....just get out of her reach. Your eye will give you problems, right?" He huffed and puffed throughout. The male wasn't made for running quickly over long distances. He needed to cool himself down. "You go first...I'll keep Akakabuto b***h busy." He added, very sure he could give her a good few minutes head start. "That sit well with you?" He asked, making sure she wanted to do this. If she had a better idea, he'd love to hear it right about now.

Zehn shook her head. She was a military dog deep in her heart and she wasn't about to let him be the one to stay behind fighting, not when she knew it so much better. At least, that's how she felt.
"Nein! You head down, find the safest vay, I'll follow!" she barked back and split away from Daisuke slightly, barking at the bear. She was wearing thin, but she had gotten another burst of adrenaline and felt the tighntess in muscles drain away to be replaced by a so far unnoticeable lack of feeling.

Daisuke growled. "Just follow me then!" He called running over toward her, barking as well. The bear stopped for a moment and panted, staring the two dogs down. "I won't let you do this alone, Zehn." He said seriously as he began to jump in the air using the last of his energy. "Not when you're compromised." He muttered, huffing and puffing.
"HEY BEAR!" He snarled as he feigned a lunge at her, gnashing his jaws. The bear's eyes narrowed and she threw her head back and roared in rage. "Yeah, over HERE baby!" He called, barking like mad. She charged him and he managed to side step her but it was mere moments later when she noticed Zehn. She took the time to pull her lips back in a snarl, jaws foaming from over exhaustion.

Zehn barked angrily at Daisuke's comments, even though she knew he was right. It just bit at her pride for him to say so, especially at that moment. She followed him, though, snapping at the bear as they zipped around the crazed animal. They needed to get where the bear couldn't go. And it looked like the only ways were up high and down low. And higher was a risk because of the bear's reach. If they went low and the bear followed, the biggest problem was the bear falling and landing on them.
"Vhat's... Plan?" she huffed quickly as she followed him.

Daisuke jumped to the side as the bear swiped at him. "Go to...waterfall!" He breathed before he started moving in that direction, keeping an eye on Zehn all the while. "I beg of you, go first!" He called to her as the bear rounded on him. He ran to it's left as he could sense a charge building in the deranged bear.

Zehn grit her teeth and bit back her pride.
"Fluch es... Ja!" the German dog cursed as she turned and headed over to the cliff. A quick look and she found the closest ledge.
"Dai! Hurry!" she barked at him and jumped down, out of sight.
She landed with a rough thud some feet down. The ledge was small, about enough room for one, so she had to look fast. She found the next one, but to get to it was a bit of a jump. A deep breath in her chest, she gave it her best, just managing to land it. One leg slipped though, and she scrapped her thigh on the sharp edge of the rock.
"Scheiße," she hissed out as she pulled herself back up, not even glancing back. She had to keep going, to give Daisuke room.

Daisuke ran toward the ledge and the bear broke out into a charge. He looked to the cliff and back at the bear. At the last moment he jumped onto the ledge, nearly loosing his footing. He looked just in time to hear a roar and cry out suprise as the massive bear tried to stop running but her forward motion carried her over the cliff. She left them about a metre's space of air between herself and the dogs.
Daisuke began to pant heavily as she crashed into the rocks below the water and lie there, lifeless, tinting the water around her red. He cursed under his breath as he tried to get his wits about himself. "You all right, Zehn?" He asked, wishing to God he could lie down.

"Ja..." Zehn sighed back and turned to finally take a look at her leg. The scratches were many, but not deep and the pain was little enough that she could still move fairly well.
"How vill ve get up, Dai? I... don't think I can climb back up. Or should ve just go down?" she asked, walking to the far edge of her ledge, leaving room for him to join her on that ledge if he wanted. She was tired too, and there was enough room to stretch out on the ledge, for both of them if they laid close to one another. And at that moment, a nice doze seemed like a good idea, indeed.

"We don't." He said before pausing. "Down is far better but..." He shook his head. "My energy reserves are shot...I need a rest." Daisuke looked down to his companion, eyes heavy. "Mind if I come down?" He mumbled. His adrenaline was wearing off. His muscles were screaming and his body felt like lead. He wavered ever so slightly where he stood.

Zehn nodded her head.
"Ja, und I'm tired, too," she said and moved herself as far away as possible for where he would need to land. She was glad he was with her, finding that she had missed being among other dogs, especially ones that knew how to fight like she had seen Daisuke did. Well, not really fight, but they had just beaten a bear. A BEAR. She let herself slump a bit and turned to lick the scratches on her leg.

Daisuke jumped down, legs collapsing under his weight. He just allowed himself to lie there like a pathetic lump. "You okay?" He mumbled, words slurring a bit. He fought to keep his eyes open so he wouldn't fall asleep for a while yet. His hind left leg began to send shooting pains through his knee. He pulled a muscle or two.

"Scraped my leg a bit on the rock," Zehn said shortly and stretched out beside Daisuke.
"That vas a lot of adventure, for vone day," she whispered, her muzzle near his ear as her eyes closed in exhaustion.
