Rokhan started and hid as desperately as he could the rising sensation in his chest everytime his very female friend showed him affection. Shaking it off, he put on as cool a cover as he could think of and tugged her mane in return. Kicking a small clod of ground towards her, he laughed. It still wasn't as open as usual, but he was trying. "Aye, ever'thing be alright," he answered her. "I can't be thinkin' of anything else that could be more alright." Stepping back a few paces, he used the sudden distance to watch Sumi move and react. He also wanted to think.
"I definitaly be thankful," he finally answered. "Ah have yet to meet anyone more enjoyable to be around than you." Stomping a front hoof into the ground, he studied the impression it made in the dirt. "Do ya be thinkin' our friendship is true enough? 'Cause I think I do."
What was going on with him? He'd never been so unsure and happy at the same time. Typically feeling embarrassed was seperate from joy.

"Youch~" The mare giggled to herself, the yelp more of surprise than pain to his hair tugging. Then she shook out her long mane to prevent any knots forming. "Well, if you say so..." She canted her head as he shuffled back, so took that chance to relax her own legs. One hoof to the dirt as her other three bared the weight for awhile. This had to be one of her stranger encounters, but oddly enough she was calm about it. It was only her friend Rok after all.
His statement made her chuckle some more, shaking her head. "Then you must have been stuck in the woods too long. That's blame on me though, not showing you most the trails." Certainly there was more interesting company in the world. A slender brow lifted as he questioned her though.
"Hm? Well....if it wasn't true, I'm fairly certain I'd be stuttering and blushing like normal. So, no. I don't think it is a fake. Why would it be?"

Rokhan relaxed a tiny bit and smiled an easy smile. "Ah jus' meant to be sure, since you'd said that friendship was a rare gift if it were true 'nough." He was starting to feel fidgety, and unsure about what to do with his body, and it was making him more aware of how close they were. It was nice, but he didn't know what Sumi was thinking and he was so absolutely confused by their increasingly odd conversation that he was starting to feel slightly panicky and anxious. Of what or why, he had no idea. "I, uhm, I didn't mean to hurt you by the way..." He hadn't thought he'd tugged that hard, but it was best to be sure and apologise anyway. "Would you like to walk a bit with me?"
Nodding his head in the direction towards the mare's home and where they'd met, he took a ginger step that way then paused to wait for an answer. "I don't know what you be meanin', either," he said quietly. "Why would you bein' the most enjoyable mare or soquili I've met be your fault? Or be 'cause I was in the woods?" He hadn't thought he'd been there too long... Rokhan had really enjoyed spending time with someone that hadn't judged him, been afraid of him, or ignored him right off of the bat. Sumi was refreshing, all he wanted was for her to know that.

The mare smiled faintly while ducking her head. Well, friendship was rare enough in her case, especially since she was so bashful. She hadn't meant for it to sound rude or brash when she explained it. So she nodded kindly to let the other know she was sure. As sure as she can ever be anyways...
It was in the quiet that she realized how thick and tense the air felt around her. And it certainly wasn't quivering from her own form...was it Rokhan? Was that why he seemed so out of it today? Maybe he had a fever and wasn't telling her! Or maybe something had happened in his travels and he had secrets to keep! Just what was he so skittish about, Sumi didn't know and wouldn't press the concern. So to the offer of a walk, the mare nodded eagerly for that chance to relax. "Haha, and no you didn't harm me just then. Ya only return the action." ^_^
Taking a step as well, Sumi couldn't help but blink to herself. He was taking her homeward? Was he bored with her now, and trying to kindly shrug her off? Was she being annoying? Keeping her jitters hidden the mare could only smile and tilt an ear to the stallion's question. "I'm...sorry? I'm not all to well with words I admit." She sighed and restructured her previous statements. "I guess I meant to say that I don't want to be a poor influence. Just because something i enjoyable doesn't always make it the best choice."
