Lorey couldn't help but press her thumb into his cheek to inspect his blush.
"Nope, I'm bragging. You're not stealing away my fun!" she said, with the biggest smile she had. Once more she took his arm, holding the rose as carefully as possible. It would definitely be something she would cherish forever. "I think I can safely say this has been the best day of my life..."

Richard wanted to say the same, but his conscience wouldn't let him. Faded memories, like those in old movies, played in his head like a broken record. But he didn't let these thoughts take over. He merely returned the smile and said: "Well if it's up to me, there will far more that will be better than this..." He said these words quietly, but emphatically, meaning every syllable.

Lorey hugged his arm once, before starting their walk again. It seemed their little moment was quite the show to all the merchants, who suddenly became occupied with arranging flowers or cleaning as they passed. It had been a life-altering moment for both of them, yet Lorey realized there were little things she had neglected.
"You know... I never think I told you that you're really handsome." Her face lit up with her own blush.

Richard chuckled a bit. It was something that he wouldn't have considered important, but the way Lorey said it made his heart light. His chuckle turned to laughter as he hugged her a bit as they walked. "You're so amazing...." He said once he had calmed a bit.

Lorey blushed a bit more as she looked up to him. She gently tapped his nose with the soft everlasting rose, never having felt so light-hearted before.
"I love you, Richard." And every single person they met would know that. Vi, Delita, Enty, they would all have to see her rose and her Richard.

He smiled softly, looking away. He hadn't been told that in a long time...It felt nice. Enty will be happy but confused.... He chuckled to himself, feeling truly happy.

Sadly though, their little moment of peace was interrupted by a small beeping sound. "Ah, excuse me." He apologized, pulling out his communicator. "Enty? ....Yea? ...no really?" A small frantic and annoyed higher pitch voice could be heard on the other end, followed by a loud bang, then what sounded like vi cursing in her thick Irish accent. Richard chuckled before closing the device and turning to Lorey. "Sounds like our engine is going to need a tad more work...do you want to go back to the hotel so we can rest before meeting with the others?" He asked hopefully, wanting to get as much alone time with Lorey as he could before they departed.

As Richard spoke with his furry friend, Lorey listened intently. Every bang and curse earned a wince and little laugh from her, who understood that while an engine wasn't an easy thing to fix, it could be something humorous to listen to.
Lorey fingered the rose stem a bit before giving a nod.
"Sure. We could also have a little coffee or something before we see, them, too. I don't mind."
And really, how could she? The young woman smiled up to him, practically glowing. after all that had happened.
"Maybe we could even find a thermos and bring them some when that thing does get fixed," she said as they began walking off towards the hotel.

Lisa had watched him go and present the flower to her, had watched her reaction and had smiled to herself as if she were the one receiving it. Whatever Richard was telling that woman, it was important and meaningful. She'd never heard anything like that herself... and was probably never going to with the way the flower shoppe had practically become her life.
Lisa propped her head up on the counter with a pale hand, letting her raven black hair envelope her face for a second.
Couldn't she have a fairy tale, just once?

Quite unfairly handsome in all that he had a habit of doing, Aiden strolled languidly up the clean and busy street, looking every which way for that flower shoppe Cosette had told him about. She seemed to know everything about the city, and had said that if he wanted to find some flowers for his sister as a welcome home present, that would be the place to get them.
Coming to a stop, he looked off to his left and smiled, before hopping up the cement steps to the quaint front door of the shop. A little bell rung as he opened the door, which made him chuckle softly- you never really heard thatanymore, what with all the sliding doors..

Lisa's face quickly appeared from behind her self-made curtain, though once she saw just who had come through the door, she immediately regretted it. No one like him ever came through the shop... and when they did upon those rare occasions, it was a sure fact that they were taken by some lucky girl about to receive flowers.
"Welcome! Is there anything you're looking for in particular?" she chimed out, in her best welcoming voice. If she couldn't attract this boy herself, she could at least make some kind of good impression on him.

Aiden smiled, and wished fleetingly he had his sisters skills for noticing people.
" A very nice day to you ma'am." He let his eyes flicked about for a moment before addressing her again.
" What do you think would be best as a homecoming gift for your twin sister?" He asked, momentarily preoccupied by the highlight off the bottom of her raven hair where it hit her white shirt.

"Oh, gosh, I don't know..."
She hated when people asked her those questions. It wasn't as if she knew the people who they were buying flowers for, so how was she supposed to shoot out answers that made any sense? Although, it was comforting in some way to know that he was buying something for his sister and not a girlfriend. Maybe she could entertain that dream in the off time she had coming up soon enough.
In the meantime, Lisa tried her best to avert her eyes down to her nails as she tried to think of a nice sister kind of flower. "What colors does she like?"

Aiden smiled at her.
" She's currently into red and gold, but she can be a flighty sort. Perhaps some that change their shade?" He asked, tilting his head cutely to one side, big green eyes fixed only on her and not the looks he was receiving from some of the females in the shop.
