Hadaya bowed his head, knowing full well that it didn't matter how tightly he closed his eyes. It was all a memory now, and there was nothing special in how he remembered it. He hoped he wasn't add details to the images in his head, just to appease the young cub that was now questioning him so furiously.
But at least she was being nice to him. It almost gave him hope that these visions did have a purpose, once he got past how it was usually impossible to find who they belonged to, and to figure out how they were important.
"I think there's a lot of plants outside," he said at length, opening one eye to peek at her, "I mean, the trees are green, so they can't be dead like they are around here. Looks like a jungle, but I can't be sure. I mean, I think that's what it is."
Sighing, he rolled his shoulders back again, "that's really all I can remember. I can't really call it back, so I'm just telling you everything I can remember seeing. What do you think it was?"

Plants. Green leaves, so it's not dead or dying. A jungle. Kali had never seen a jungle before, so she would have to take Hadaya's word on this one. Once she saw the jungle for herself, though, she'd know if he had been telling the truth or not.
"I believe you," she murmured, deep in thought. "I have no idea what it was, or where," she continued.
"Thank you for telling me," she said absentmindedly. Her eyes glanced back up to his and she allowed a half-smile to cover her face in a friendly way.

Hadaya smiled back at her. It was a goofy, lopsided expression, but it was honest and hard earned. He felt good, for once, that he might have been able to offer some small modicum of hope to this little cub, for whatever reason. Maybe just the idea of going somewhere new was exciting and worthwhile.
A constant wanderer, Hadaya certainly believed in that sentiment.
"No problem. I mean, I guess it was your future, so it's only fair that I tell you about it. I hope you find it, whatever that place was, some day. Might be fun, huh?"
He shrugged his thin shoulders, wondering if he should leave, so he didn't keep the young cub too long from her home.

She nodded, thinking about a lot of things right now. There were many things to consider, to take in, to digest, and to plan around.
"Thank you." She turned around and started walking off, but she turned half around and gave him a final farewell.
"Thank you," she repeated. "I'm sorry for before. That was rude of me. It was nice meeting you; hope to see you around sometime."
And with that she was off, trotting off towards home with much to think about for many, many nights.
