everyone's talking about growng up on the simpsons, but i grew up with south park eek ... anyways, it really depends on the episode. i usually prefer family guy, but the simpsons has those good episodes that i don't get bored in the middle of *cough* short attention span *cough*

Raging_Blazing_Fire7 The Simpsons came out the same year I was born, but I'm still older than Bart! FTW! lol I do love both shows, but the past few seasons, the Simpsons have kinda gone down hill for me. I don't even remember the last time I watched it, so I'm gonna have to go with Family Guy. Oh, and you kinda forgot the poll, so I added for ya. Hope ya don't mind. n_n yeah thanks for doing that i forgot about it

Ursaula I'm not aloud to watch The Simpsons
But you are allowed to watch Family Guy? That makes no sense, it's way cruder than the Simpson's. Personally, I think both shows are mindless. I don't care for either one.

Family Guy has no plot or anything that makes sence in it. Its funny plain because of stupid sterotypes and stupid actions. Simpsons has a problem in the episodes...

I watched The Simpsons when I was little, and I guess I never found it funny because a. I HATED [and still do] how everything is yellow tinged and b. there was absolutely nothing I found funny about it.
I'm a Family Guy girl myself, I like how they reference pop culture [80s through today], so my mother and I can watch it together and she'll laugh at something too. I have all six of the boxed sets out now, and I'm enough of a fan that I could probably recite half the episodes word for word to you.
YEAAH..I watch waaaaaay too much Family Guy sweatdrop

I think that the simpsons is more of a family show based on comedy, But family guy is a comedy show based on a family.
I don't know if that made sense but what the hell its all the same. They both make me laugh.

I'd say Simpsons, especially the old ones because they actually had witty humor instead of throwing a billion cultural refs and sexual jokes in there. I feel Family Guy's just a pile of random crap thrown together for the lulz. I never laughed at it when I watched to be honest.
