I wanted to say abandoned carnival/theme park, but it'd be too big for that.
Though, with that idea.. have three fighters on each team roll three-sided dice. That chooses where they get paired up and what part of the theme park they fight in. The fourth gets to wander (in x amount of posts) to striker where needed.
Of course, that'd be such a ******** it wouldn't even be funny, so I guess that shoots the idea out of the water.
But maybe something similar on a smaller scale like.. a play-ground xd

along that vein, and with the cathedral... a multiple-teir stage. area A is inside the church itself, pews and everything like last time. area 2 is the stairwell, and area 3 is the top with the bell.

Perhaps, keeping with the LEGEND theme and in addition to Vahn's suggestions, we could use places from great legends, myths, and epics, such as Heorot from the legend of Beowulf, or the lair of the Cyclops from the Odyssey.

We should bring the Clocktower and the Sewer stages back. Those were my favorites. =D We could have an Aquarium Stage. Imagine pile driving someone through a salt water tank, in the process causing thousands of dollars in damage. Though that poses the question: who allows the HoH Committee to use their property for the tournament? Designated Hero Also, Scrooge McDuck's secret vault. This.

I suggested this in earlier years, and it was sorta represented in the last one, but I'd like to see an elevator stage, but on an OPEN, large, raising platform. The longer the fight takes, the greater the risk of injury from falling off/getting crushed/getting arms torn off while dangling off the side. SEE YOU AT THE PAHTY, RICHTER.
I guess eventually it could get to the top of whatever and move the fight onto a roofing of some sort. Perhaps that of a seven story glass atrium?
Also:
Stage on a busy highway and/or the moving semi idea revisited.
Seven story glass atrium.
Stage set on space station/starship. Dash and I will gladly donate the CIS Victory. Beware, though, the ship likes to trash talk.
Oh, yeah, and stages that are in close proximity/connected to one another like the mansion last year. ********' awesome idea. Serves to remind that all fights occur in relation to one another in real time. Getting thrown through a wall into another thread was so cool.
And stages that are large enough that can have multiple fights happen at once in different locations. Like the ironworks with it's main stage and catwalks. Of course, this was largely attributed to the creativity of the players, so it could be made to work almost anywhere...

And no, I'm not talking Dead or Alive, I-kick-you-out-the-window-and-you-fall-twenty-stories-to-the-street tiers.
It's late, so this is probably going to sound stupid in the morning. But there could be a stage with a weak floor, or multiple weak floors in a multi-story building (glass floor, building under construction, whatever) that fighters could be slammed through. Yes, the mental picture is Ebris grabbing [insert ninja / kitsune / demon here] by the ankles and slamming them single-handedly through the floor before doing the most epic curb-stomp that anyone has ever seen.
Also, taking the airplane level a step further. Some of you might know about the whole "antigravity" thing that people can do for ridiculous sums of money by going way up and then basically nosediving the plane. I think a stage based on that (say, three turns, then antigravity for two, then three more turns) would add a different level to things by without the obvious "I'magonnaringyouout" and "ibackflipoutoftheway" antics.
