Is such a thing even possible? I mean, Ike is a ******** tank after all. And Ness, oh, well just don't even get me started on that little bundle of destructive joy.

Oh, and is anyone else really hoping for Max in the next SSB?
I am hoping for Epona.

Or a NEW character.

Bah.
He is far too overpowered.

And insane.
And he is a bunny!
PostPosted: Tue Sep 16, 2008 10:25 am

No, he's a rabbity-thing.

Besides, could you imagine his Final Smash?

I never played a Sam and Max game.

So no.

Neither have I, I just really enjoy the old cartoons.

Anyways, Final Smash is a jet-pack that allows him to move freely, and pressing the attack button drops an explosive Max doll with real battle banter!

Death from above, death from above!!!!

Well, here's some ideas.

Zeratul from Starcraft

Scorpion from Mortal Kombat

Albert Wesker from Resident Evil 4

the characters I've listed so far were indeed on a Nintendo console during an era.

Zeratul was in the N64 port of the popular PC game Starcraft, duely dubbed Starcraft 64.

Scorpion has almost never missed a mainstream Mortal Kombat title except for Mortal Kombat 3, but diehard MK fans find MK3 hardly worth noting as it did not mention the ninja spectre. Scorpion already has the formula for a great SSB character with a long range grab.

Albert Wesker has been a keynote baddie and featured superpower with a geart as cold as his clothes are black. the blonde hair and shades combo says he's a badass, and who wouldnt like to see Wesker choke out Snake before pimpslapping him asside?

possible final Smashes:

Zeratul: cloaks into the darkness and strikes the closest character to him on screen(or everyone on a small level) with dark slashes accross the screen.

Scorpion: summons the flames of hell and spews fire from behind his mask onto the nearest target, or on the floor, like a trap.

Albert Wesker: takes off his shades and scared the piss out of the nearest player with his yellow cat-like eyes before suddenly dashing to them and gripping their throat, then proceeds to shake them about until just after letting go he backhands his victim some distance away.

I can come up with more if that's what you need from me lol.

EDIT: new/altered characters + smashes below

Mewtwo: psychic power buffed with weight increased, ability to fly added with multijumping psychic bursts.

Final Smash: Psychic offensive: Mewtwo pulls in his enemies and crushes them in painful psychic grips before slamming them about, before a closeup of Mewtwo's cold death glare ending with everyone on screen getting KO'd except for Mewtwo.

Charmander: simmilar play style to Charizard and Yoshi, hybrid style, flamethrower covers more distance.

Final Smash: Rage: Charmander(based on how much damage taken) deals his damage to his nearest opponent as payback starting with slash and irontail, then finishing with a massive burst from fire sending his opponent flying off screen.

Sailor Jupiter(Super Famicom appearence). insane physical strength, higher than moderate speed, mid-light weight, primary melee oriented with long range electric attacks that require charging.

Final Smash: Jupiter Thunder Dragon: for the duration she is enveloped in electricity while a controllable dragon formed of lightning races accross the screen, a long tail following the head, it's arrival is quick but KO's whoever it hits who stands against her.

I'll add more later. :p

I KNEW you would also choose a Sailor.

Too many human-like characters!
The charm of SSB is that ******** Kirby can pwnzors all the humans.
Hell, in the original, Link, Samus, and Captain Falcon where the only characters that looked like they could be actual people (Mario & Luigi are too short... they're more like dwarfs)

I dunno.
Samus in her suit looks like some creature with gigantic shoulders.
