Near the end of the video, as the Marine is fighting the CSM, they show one of them dying without the use of one of those cinematics.

One thing that I definitely had a beef with was the maneuverability of that Thunderhawk. I know that the birds are kinda nimble, but that seems just a liiiiitle bit intense.

they made a point of saying, the cinematic kills are a bonus, but not a prerequisite. they can be done however you want and whenever but enemies can be killed normally without any cool looking movie

I hate to say it, but this game actually looks like it has too much realistic violence for my taste.... and I've played a lot of shooters.

Yeah. Having a grenade blow up on your belt and standing up to keep fighting is TOTALLY realistic.

I played a lot of dating sims and I'm a regular casanova. I also beat Dawn of War on extreme so that makes me Sun Tzu.

*claps slowly*
I believe that you would like this wonderful quote:

"If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight. Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a lit-tle more about fighting than you do, Pal, because he invented it! And then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor.

Then he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth. And then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one. And from that day forward, any time a bunch of animals are together in one place its called a zoo!

Unless its a farm."

The wonderful speech given by the Soldier in Team Fortress 2.

Moral of the story: DO NOT call the violence realistic unless you are to your knees in actual corpses and have blood on your hands. I know of only one guild member who has experienced real actual violence.

Do streetfights count? Or are you talking about the s**t?

Oh, this video rules. I want to play this ******** game. Now.

Only gripes: The bolter. If that's not changed by the final version,. Heads. Will. Roll.

You are a puny consumer, your words are worth nothing in comparison to the producers who pay for the game to be made.

I'd like to thank DE for that link. I tried the vid at waaagh and bols but it was the yanked one.

Very cool. this is like Devil-May-Cry on a crack-meth cocktail with a heavy dose of bloody gunpowder snorted right to the brain for good measure. Agree with the bolter needing work, this one is like a mini-uzi. But yah, alpha version. Did anyone else catch the yellow expanding ball effect of the grenade blast? How about the lack of fluidity on the block animations? Yah, this obviosly isn't finished product. keep your heads together people.

Looking forward to this game. As one poster in another thread put it: 3xtr3m3 4W3$0M3N355!!!11!! OMG LOLz $p4c3 M4R1n3$ R0xx0rz!!!1!!!

Yah, even the retards are excited about this one.
