I'd say Sorcerer's Stone just because it's what introduced us to the wonders of the Harry Potter world.

Definitly the fourth book, Goblet of Fire. I just hope that they do not mess things up too bad or skip too much important stuff in the movie. It is hard putting 730+ pages into a little over 2 hours. sweatdrop
