Game Show Time!
And now it's time for everyone's favorite game show... The Price is Right! Who'll be our contestants today? Our first person iiiiiiis... Izzy! Come on dooooooown!
IZZY: *sneers at the camera, then tries to climb over a fat lady blocking the exit to his row. this takes him a few minutes... then stumbles down to the first podium near the stage and waves.*
Next up... Trintara! Come on dooooooown!
TRINTARA: *sits in the audience with a bunch of the bunnies in seats around her. they hop up and down excitedly and twitch their noses as she gets up and walks towards the stage. alterus tells her to bring back a big-screen for him. and a couple of the models. trin rolls her eye and smiles at the camera.*
Third contestant is Iria! You're the next contestant on The Price Is Right!
IRIA: *uhm, where is she? oh. iria wasn't able to sit in the audience due to her centuar-ism, so when she hears her name, she clip-clops from the back of the room. seah is sleeping on her back and seems oblivious to the loud cheering.*
Our last contestant--who will it be? SHARR! Come on down!
SHARR: *has been hanging from the beampoles ninja-style the whole time. drops onto the ground with the cowel covering his face, looking around at the audience as he fills the last spot.*
And now, here's your host...Jacob!
JACOB: *walks out from behind the curtain with a smile and waves.* Hello, and welcome to The Price Is Right! Let's get started with our first bid. Take it away, ladies!
*The curtain is pulled back to reveal.. Otto flirting with Marie, Chamille, and Aleera? Jacob frowns and Otto takes his cue, blowing a kiss to the girls and running off stage. They, in turn, straighten themselves and begin to show off the prize.*
Our first bid covers this exquisite, hand-crafted, golden Spud statue! Made from 24-carat, now every minibar can be completed with this novelty. Liven up your party with you very own Spud! Manufactured by Ishmael Industries International.
*Trintara slides her eyepatch to the side to get a better look at the statue, then nods to herself. Izzy sneers again. Iria starts to brush the hair from her eyes and chest--but then is told by a guard to keep 'em covered or she gets booted off the show. Sharr...doesn't do anything. He just stands there, looking very Sharr-y.*
JACOB: Now the name of the game is to bid and not go over. Minimum is a dollar.
IZZY: *raises his hand* I bid one cent!
JACOB: *frowns at Izzy* Wait your turn. And you can't bid a cent anyway. *points to Sharr* You're first. What do you bid?
SHARR: .........
JACOB: *sighs* You see, in order to participate in the game, you have to say something. Do you have a bid or not?
SHARR: ........ *whips out a ninja star thingie and chucks it at Jacob*
JACOB: *jumps out of the way in time, but the ninja star thingie keeps going and hits Marie in the head. She dies and turns into a hummingbird and flies away. FLY AWAY! cue the laughing dog!*
SHARR: *takes off!*
JACOB: Alright, one less contestant. Izzy, what do you bid?
IZZY: *beams* One ce--
JACOB: Don't say it.
IZZY: Tch.. FINE. A dollar, ya' happy now? *sneers*
JACOB: *Nods* Good, a dollar. *points to Iria...then sees Seah on her back* ...Why do you have someone on your back?
IRIA: *shrugs, then whinnies softly* Became a habit after a while.
JACOB: Only one of you can stand at the podium. Sorry, those are rules.
TRINTARA: Oh, bloody hell! *Reaches up to grab Seah. Tosses her into the audience.* Ye happy now?
SEAH: *has been tossed into the audience, and is now carried above them a-la rock concert. still doesn't wake up? maybe she's in a coma...*
JACOB: Works for me. Iria, what's your bid?
IRIA: One dollar.
JACOB: Izzy's already taken that, you'll have to guess something higher.
IRIA: Uhmmm... *thinks*
JACOB: *gives her an unbelieving look* Are you kidding me? This is a 24-carat statue! It's GOLD! And all you can bid is a dollar?
IZZY: *shrugs* Nobody wants to go over...
IRIA: Okay, okay, $1.01 .
JACOB: ........... fine. *turns to Trintara* What's y-- *looks around..Trintara's not there!* Where'd she go?
CHAMILLE: *has been cleaning her nails while everyone was talking. clears her throat* She took off with the statue.
JACOB: What?? *throws up his hands in frustration at Chamille* What do I even pay you for? *mutters*
CHAMILLE: *would say something in reply, but that's not for public television.*
ALEERA: *points to the back of the room* Look over there!
TRINTARA: *has the Spud statue tucked under one arm and is making her way towards the door. the bunnies are hopping after her. alterus says the statue looks lame and she could have at least gotten ONE model for him.. Trin kicks him and keeps running.*
JACOB: *sighs as security runs after her and turns to the camera.* I guess Iria wins by default. That's all for today, tune in next time! *waves*
*the credits roll and Otto creeps back out to whisk Chamille and Aleera from the stage for further private talking. Iria cheers and talks about how she's never won anything before, while Izzy sneers...and sneers some more. Sharr never comes back, and neither does Trin..well, that's a lie; she returns a few weeks later to steal a speedboat. And then? The Young and the Restless comes on. El fin!*
