Rosemary flapped in delight at the name. "Sequoia?! Is that little dear around here? I never knew that you were his friend. Well that certainly explains a lot. I wouldn't expect him with being with just anyone. Oh, I haven't seen him in so very long." She said, almost overtaken at the idea that her young pupil was still up and about. That and he was still alive. Poor dear. Last time she saw him was after graduation. The little thing was still deep in his studies and so shy about going on his own with his learning.
She was lost in a moment of memories before she snapped out and looked at Rosinweed. "I'm an Artisan. Sequoia just so happens to have been my pupil when he was a young little thing. I didn't know you were friends. Well, this is a pleasure! How is he?" She asked, eager to hear a name she still remembered.

So that explained it... Why Rosemary reminded her of Sequoia. They knew each other. Rosemary taught him in the ways of using those horrible paints. That must also be why she was sporting an equally large and eye catching dye job.
"Not here, not now. He comes, though. Comes many times." She hooted, almost timidly, in response. It didn't take long for Rosemary to resume talking, which only increased the discomfort of the Wildtype. Sequoia was a talker... But he usually didn't prattle on quite as much, or at least quite as fast.
"Well. Well. Little sad, much, after theater. It made him sad. Seems happier, though."

“Ah. Is that so? Well I must see him some time. It’s been a while.” She said, going quite for what seemed a long time, or a long time for Rosemary considering her beak usually was opening with something to say. Her eyes misted in that dreamy state of recalling the past and she gave a soft preen of her wings at the thought. Memories from long ago, when she was still a young, fresh teacher. Sequoia had been her first and only student. She enjoyed it, but personal problems got in the way around the same time she was teaching Sequoia. After that, she decided to wait before she took another student. Yet after waiting for a while, she never found herself picking up another student to teach.
“I should see him some time. I hope our paths meet. He’d be a great deal of help right now.” She said, her voice slower and softer.

Friend of Sequoia's... So she couldn't be that bad, right? That was what Rosinweed continuously reminded herself while she listened to the brightly painted Shadow speak. She wasn't all that bad after all. Just talkative. Like Sequoia.
"Comes here often. Might not be long, now. Will meet. Eventually, anyways." She spoke in her light, slightly more cheerful tone. Cheerful for her, anyways, and it often didn't sound that way to most other sentinels.
"He's good. Very good. Very nice. Always helpful, no matter what. Will help you, too, for sure."

"Oh, just think. A teacher getting help from a student. I honestly don't know what I do with myself sometimes." She said, prattling on as she thought of it. Still, she seemed rather happy at the prospect.
"Oh, dearie. I just thought. Does that mean I can visit here again? I hate to impose on you as much as I already have." She said.

Rosinweed's sleeked feathers roused slightly towards their usual resting place, which was still a little more sleeked than the average sentinel. Rosemary's prattling was almost overwhelming, but she retained a cool head. This was a friend of Sequoia's, so what would he think if she upset this painted Shadow?
"Y-y-y, I, yes." She forced out as she absentmindedly twisted at a twig with her Will. It swayed under her grasp, bent to one side, and snapped. She then neatly tucked this new, broken portion beneath another branch.

“Oh, Thank you. You’ve been more than helpful and giving. I’ve been flying for days and had yet to find someone that knew a single thing worth listening to. I feel so fortunate to have met you. Thank you.” Rosemary was beaming at her, looking as merry as she had from the start, though now having that look that she was a ball of contained energy ready to explode. Her age didn’t seem to effect her energy.
She then looked behind her and noticed that during her stay, a good deal of time had passed. “Look how early it’s getting. I still have to travel to the little place I’m staying.” She muttered to herself out loud, contemplating time and distance. Turning, she made a little sweeping gesture of her body in sigh of thanks and also departure. “I hate to cut our lovely time short, dearest, but I do have to be off before the sun comes out. I hope to see you and Sequoia soon. Please tell the dear I dropped by. I’m sure he’ll be surprised. Thank you, for everything.” She said, before turning about. “I’ll show myself out, honey drop.” And shuffled her way out, but not before turning in the entrance one last time. “Till later, Rosinweed.” And with a little wiggle of her tail feathers, floated off silently. ((Sorry to cut it short, but I’m running out of things to say. U.U; ))

Rosinweed still seemed rather baffled and almost confused by Rosemary's energy and peppy personality, which seemed to be completely opposite of her own. She preened her feathers and watched Rosemary through her bright, slightly worried, golden eyes and lingered on every word the brightly painted Shadow spoke.
Honey Drop?
The Wildtype blinked in confusion, but gave Rosemary a brief and hesitant smile, though her expression was one not often used (and that was probably very noticable).
"Okay, okay. Be careful. Very. Don't get high, too high. You know." She managed as the Shadow was preparing to leave. "No problem. Bye."
