The kid's race was totally irrelevant to the reason for his being removed from the league, and putting it in the title adds an unpleasant flavor to the whole thing. Totally unnecessary. so you like or dislike the title?

The War Starter Might've been for just around this area. I remember hearing something a while back about parents getting their kids to learn certain pitches and the league actually encouraging them not to use those pitches 'cause it could cause their arms to go bad much, much earlier in life. Yeah, throwing curveballs before your arm is fully developed can cause you to blow out your arm. Screwballs are even worse. Lots of kids in the 12-15 age range have severely damaged their arms messing around with those pitches. Actually, my dad did that when he was about 13 I think.
