She was avoiding walking home... He couldn't fathom why and remained in the dark regarding her lack of a home since adulthood. It was quite the problem, after all how was he supposed to locate her home and arrange particular visits? He was just about to furrow his brow to muse over such a thing when she offered up an opening - it wasn't the most ideal solution but it would provide him with the opportunity to explore further and grow accustomed to the land. Her homeland in terms of the immediate vicinity was foreign to him given his wandering of darker territories and so he would be a fool not to accept an albeit innocent invitation. In months to come she would no doubt regret it unless she surrendered to his whims - that being said so many of the Kawani mares were an absolute pain in his a** most of the time.
"Idle wanderings are hardly what one would call 'busy', they are merely ways of passing the time," he pointed out calmly. Giving his mane a shake, he blinked most of the strands from his glowing eyes and moved towards the petite unicorn with decided ease. Now that he had made his decision his resolve was strengthened. Knowledge was power and as such he would submit himself to further time spent in acquiring the necessary information to further his own goals. So he would have to continue with his facade as a brooding, yet considerate stallion but this was not a terribly difficult thing to do.
Acting was child's play.
"However lunch would be delightful if you happen to have anywhere of particular interest you wish to show to me?"

Lina smiles lightly when she heard that he would stay with her a little longer, she wouldn’t be lonely for a little longer. Then she realized something that was kind of important. She had no where to take him. “Oh u-um...Well there’s grass..obviously. Guess you could have figured that out. I don’t really know what else there is.” Since she had been out on her own, grass was all she really needed. Treats were special if she happened upon them but even then she didn’t record that exact place in her brain for later use.
The small unicorn started moving off towards more wide open fields, figuring he would follow. “But hey grass is food right? It may not be anything special but the company is what matters.” Once the were in a nice bright sunny spot, she began to pick at the grass and munch on the fresh green blades. At this point, Lina couldn’t tell why this stallion was still hanging around her. Maybe he liked her. Oh no that couldn’t be it, how could someone like that, like her? It just didn’t make sense. But she wasn’t going to complain now since she had been wanting company for some time now.

Kiyoshi resisted the urge to arch a brow at her offer of grass - in all his life he had avoided grass as it often left him with a restless stomach. He was not a meat eater but his tastes were very particular - he dined on things with greater sustenance. Nevertheless he could hardly inform this mare of that and expect her to understand. She lacked the ability to grasp the complex nature of soquili and their specific needs, to naive and enclosed to realise that not everyone was quite like her. Alas he could do nothing more than clear his throat and obediently followed after the mare, glowing gaze scouring the horizon for indications of life or landmarks that he could use as a reminder of the location. From what he could see there was nothing, save for the particular angle in which the mountains appeared to look from this position. It would be something he would have to stare at to remind himself and that was exactly what he did, even as the mare lowered her head to eat.
She wasn't entirely inaccurate in reference to his 'like' for her as he'd certainly taken a liking to her and expressed his interest accordingly. The mare had her uses and could provide him with something of great value - provided he was able to gain full control of her, he could create his weapons and keep her silent. She would live a comfortable life so long as she did as she was told, in his opinion that really wasn't a bad deal at all. Those who sought out love and affection in unions were pitiful and he often rolled his eyes at their stupidity - though this definitely didn't stop him from abusing these emotions to get his own way.
Satisfied that he had taken in the landscape enough to recall it's location, the stallion turned his gaze down towards the grass at his hooves. He already felt queasy, but he would endure and consequently lowered his head to have 'lunch'...

Silence. Other than the pulling of grass from the ground, maybe an occasional flutter of bird wings overhead, there was nothing. It was eerie and once in a while she would glance up at the stallion beside her. He made no move to make conversation. No friendly smile. Nothing. So what did that leave her to do? Things were just getting more awkward by the minute.
The silence continued until a call had caught her attention in the distance. Her head lifted with a slight tilt as she heard it again. Father. "Uhm I think I have to go. I'm sure my dad just wants to check up on me but I better go see what he wants. It was a pleasure meeting you, Kiyoshi. I hope I'll see you again sometime." Taking a couple steps forward she nudged his cheek with a gentle smile before taking off in the direction of home.

Bingo.
Patience always paid off in the end, he had waited with sufficient ease and the spirits had rewarded him. He was unaware of the discomfort within the silence, had always known he was exceptionally imposing and so it was lost to him. However when the mare announced that her father was calling her - well, what more could he ask for? He feigned ignorance towards his own motives and instead appeared to come out of a mild 'daze' brought on by his silent musings. She didn't need to know his further plans - what he had in store with her would remain a mystery until a later date. Everything came in time and he had already proven he was the patient sort.
Consequently he offered a slight smile as she nudged his cheek and permitted her to take her leave. He would let her reach a sufficient distance away and then he would take flight. From the air he would be able to track her silently. He would seem like a bird or a passerby from that height and therefore would not bring about suspicion. Despite his large wing span there was certainly something to be said for feathered wings - without kalona wings he found it so terribly easy to play his games!
Ah yes, though she had tried hard not to show him her home she would have no choice - unaware as she might have been he would watch from the skies and remember. In time he would return and then she would give him what he wanted.
